Man, am I kicking myself.  I totalled my car last November when I hit a deer at 70 mph.  I probably could have done a lot better than my insurance settlement by selling the resulting wreckage as a sculpture.

But, this is a fine example of someone out to bash liberalism and get an article on Newsbusters by using just plain bad taste to do it. Nowhere in the original article is any mention of politics; in fact the article that is referenced has no one promoting this “art” except for the artist Mr McKenzie. Bad art is bad art, Mr Houston. If you think this comes from the “liberal” side, you need to broaden your reading material and websites you go to. Standards and morality are not political they come from upbringing

but free excretion i think kind of crosses the line from freedom of speech to sexual perversion and gratification. i mean i can even defend ponography for the most part, but selling your own bodily fluids i think might set the bar for satisfying this guys perversion that he's hiding behind tax payer funded "art". you absolutely know there was some taxing payers dollars in some way, involved in this. this reminds me of the artist who had aids and stianed a bunch of tissues with his infected blood and hung them from the ceiling and the patrons would actually bump in to them. of course all the critics thought is was so visionary, so avant gaurd, blah blah blah, so apparently only if this guy has aids can this even hope to get any recognition fron the critics. thank you NEA, what would we have done without you.

they say art isn't something that can't be clearly defined, which i do tend to agree with, but let me try and boil it down a litl here. where has it ever been found that in between hunting for food to survive, gathering sticks and twigs for a fire or to whittle a spear to survive, and sewing up animal skins for warmth to survive was all done and over and the cavemen finally had a litl free time to practice a litl bit of freedom of speech and entertain others by producing artwork on their cave walls did they ever color their semen and paint the walls with that?

when this guys crap is sold, to some ass, do you get both a certificate of authenticity from the artist and an aids test result also?

this isn't art, it's sexual gratification for this ass.

This whole leftists lack morality is a ridiculous argument. 

Americans lack morality as a whole regardless of their political leanings.  Look at the movies we take our children to see, look at the video games we let them play, look at the tv shows we all watch.  Liberals aren't the only ones buying this crap.  Liberals aren't the only ones making this crap. 

Morality is dying in America and it has nothing to do with liberalism.  It's pure capitalism.

That's what I find so interesting about Newsbusters.  I hear constant cheers for Capitalism, but only to a certain extent.  Once capitalism starts allowing for things you all disagree with, you want to pull back on the reigns. 

Capitalism in its purist form is anarchy.  If you love Capitalism so much, than you should be prepared to embrace the anarchy, i.e. fecal stained virgin marys.

Just the discussion makes it thought provoking & humorous.
