OK, this one really does serve as a perfect example of the MSM's covering for Hillary's shifty behavior. As I tell you this tale, imagine for yourself how the MSM would treat such a story if the same should have been perpetrated by a Republican candidate. It's the story of a fake "coincidence" at one of Hillary's Iowa appearances, one that was so painfully obvious by its complete manufacturing that it amazes any sane person that team Hillary was seriously trying to claim that the incident was a true occurrence and not a fake, manufactured campaign "happening."
It seems that Hillary was "coincidentally" asked by a "spontaneous" supporter if she were a Christian at her appearance in Donnellson, Iowa on the 23rd. This "coincidence" was right after our friendly Baptist Minister, Mike Huckabee, so famously rallied the religious folk to his side at the GOP Iowa caucus.
Amazing how the "religious" question so "coincidentally" came up, eh?
So, to this our intrepid Mz. Inevitability said that she was a "practicing Methodist" and went on to say, "I'm often asked if I'm a praying person, and I am a praying person. My father prayed at his bedside every night and we prayed at the table over dinner."
It'tnnat sweet?
But then something really "coincidental" occurred. Who but should have "coincidentally" been right there in attendance at Hillary's Iowa campaign stop where all these questions of religious issues came up but Hilalry's childhood Sunday-school teacher, Rosalie Bentzinger. Yes, she stopped by quite "coincidentally" on her way to church in Park Ridge, Illinois!
You DO know that Park Ridge, Illinois is just around the corner from Donnellson, Iowa, right? I mean it certainly could have been an accident that Mrs. Bentzinger was there entirely "coincidentally," don't you think?
Well, Hillary Clinton was shocked -- SHOCKED I tell you -- that her childhood teacher was there right when that whole religious thing was brought up. There were hugs and displays of the old photo that our old teacher friend "coincidentally" brought with her, photo bulbs popped... joy was had by all.
Hillary was so amazed with the photo of young Hillary in Church. Exclaiming, "She has a picture of my confirmation class -- March 27, 1959."
Naturally, team Hillary claims it was all a surprise to them. As the L.A. Times reports:
Clinton aides said they were unaware the Sunday-school teacher was in the crowd.
But, this one was even too much for the L.A.Times to believe. Their report reads with a satiric edge. But the doubt with which the L.A.Times printed this tale is no replacement for the faux outrage that they'd surely exhibit should this sort of obvious lie been perpetrated by a GOP candidate. And the Times is about the only MSM outlet that even bothered reporting the story at all.
Imagine the howls of "lies, lies, lies" that the MSM would indulge in if they'd caught a GOP candidate in such a manufactured campaign lie! Such a candidate would never hear the end of it.
But, as always, the MSM gives Hillary a pass on it.
A Personal note: To those of you who are used to looking for my NewsBusters work at these early hours of the morning, I will be posting in the evenings for the next three months due to a personal life schedule change that will last until the end of March. If ya' all really love me you'll look for my work during the evening hours. I'd like to thank all of you who have had such kind things to say to me and to all you who have taken the time to comment on these NB postings. To those who hate me (and they are legion, I hear) If'n ya DON'T love me... look anyway!

Well I was wrong
January 8, 2008 - 13:27 ET by DanDanWell I never did get an answer --- but I was wrong about their believes -----They do condone abortion ---
From their website -----
Home > Our Faith > Church and Society > Social Principles> Abortion Abortion
The beginning of life and the ending of life are the God-given boundaries of human existence. While individuals have always had some degree of control over when they would die, they now have the awesome power to determine when and even whether new individuals will be born.
Our belief in the sanctity of unborn human life makes us reluctant to approve abortion. But we are equally bound to respect the sacredness of the life and well-being of the mother, for whom devastating damage may result from an unacceptable pregnancy. In continuity with past Christian teaching, we recognize tragic conflicts of life with life that may justify abortion, and in such cases we support the legal option of abortion under proper medical procedures. We cannot affirm abortion as an acceptable means of birth control, and we unconditionally reject it as a means of gender selection.
We oppose the use of late-term abortion known as dilation and extraction (partial-birth abortion) and call for the end of this practice except when the physical life of the mother is in danger and no other medical procedure is available, or in the case of severe fetal anomalies incompatible with life. We call all Christians to a searching and prayerful inquiry into the sorts of conditions that may warrant abortion. We commit our Church to continue to provide nurturing ministries to those who terminate a pregnancy, to those in the midst of a crisis pregnancy, and to those who give birth. We particularly encourage the Church, the government, and social service agencies to support and facilitate the option of adoption. (See ¶ 161.K.)
Governmental laws and regulations do not provide all the guidance required by the informed Christian conscience. Therefore, a decision concerning abortion should be made only after thoughtful and prayerful consideration by the parties involved, with medical, pastoral, and other appropriate counsel.
No wonder Hillery is a Methodist

Much ado about not much
January 5, 2008 - 09:36 ET by richb313I heard the story. I realise that it was a completely fabricated occurence, but in the grand scheme of things it is not much. All candidates spike the crowd with insiders to get certain questions asked. Do I like it, not really. Does it make ant difference, not really.
Ms Clinton has a lot of real troubles. Focus on them. Leave the trivial alone. It is the trivial that the MSM will use to try and prove that a great conspiracy exists to bring her down. We need to stay above this and only focus on the most serious issues.
Rich, perhaps you missed
January 5, 2008 - 14:39 ET by MikeBRich, perhaps you missed the part of the post that asked that if this had happened in a Republican's campaign, how would the press have treated it? Yeah, it's intrinsically trivial. However, if it had occurred in, say, McCain's or Thompson's campaign the press would have treated the incident as if the candidate had been caught selling nuclear secrets to the Chinese ... well, not if the candidate were a Democratic.
"A communist is someone who reads Marx. An anti-communist is someone who understands Marx." Ronald Reagan
Did not miss it
January 5, 2008 - 15:29 ET by richb313I did not miss it. I was pointing out that this is a real trivial matter. And as far as Republican Candidates spiking the audience, yes they do it. They are just better at it. It is mainly used to help steer questions from the audience along certain lines that the candidate wants to highlight. If no one asks a question on a certain subject, one will magically appear, or have been sent in. It is a common practice. Hillarys Campaign tries to overly stage manage everything so that they can project whatever image they are at the moment. It is done badly though, and is funny amd embarrasing to see at the same time.
I think we need to focus on the more important things where she is vunerable, such as the experience lie. Her judgement and so on. Leave the trivial minutia to the paid pundits who prove thier ignorance at every turn. The way to defeat a liberal is to show they are ignorant of how the world really works.
This just feeds the perception . . .
January 5, 2008 - 17:31 ET by WingletDriverWhether other candidates "spike the crowd" is irrelevant. HRC's chief weakness has been that she appears cold and calculating. This just feeds that perception. For someone supposedly so smart, a sophomoric move like this is rather unbecoming. For someone who is supposedly charm-deficient, this should be political suicide because it is proof positive that her critics are right.
fatal flaw
January 5, 2008 - 09:57 ET by CatherwoodI happened to be watching Fox when all this stilted theatre happened. It occurred to me then and occurs to me now that this is a perfect example of The Ice Queen's fatal flaw. She and her staff of intellectual elites expect us to believe all this without a vestige of doubt. They set these things up with the thought in mind that the public will never even know the true extent of their lies. The public does know, though. Not only do the voters see through the fabricated facade but the voters resent the implication that they're too dumb to think of these acts as anything but real. And, not only to the voters resent it, they also remember the insult and carry their angry into the voting booth. Hillary and her staff don't see this and will pay dearly for this mistake.
Catherwood, there is
January 5, 2008 - 14:45 ET by MikeBCatherwood, there is another side to this: the Hillary camp has pulled so much crap, got caught, then unconvincingly lied about it, that if such a coincidence occurred, and if the Clintonistas told us the truth about it, there is no way that anyone could believe their story. Because they have always played fast and loose with the truth, they are hoist on their own petard.
It got to where if a Clinton's lips were moving, you could bet that they were lying, and be right most of the time. And now, they wonder why no one believes them.

January 5, 2008 - 16:10 ET by motherbeltMrs. Clinton has apparently been getting instruction from the Master Prevaricator. When he was a candidate; hell, even when he was President, whatever was the big topic of discussion, or disagreement at the time, he just happened to have had someone, somewhere, come up to him and tell him that it was the major concern of his life, and/or beg him to do something about it.
The best one IMO was his claim that while going through the kitchen of a restaurant where he was speaking,
a Greek immigrant with a waiter's uniform stopped me. And he said, now, Mr. President, my son is 10, he's in the fifth grade, he studies this election. He says I should vote for you, so I think I will vote for you --if you will do one thing for me. I said, what do you want? He said, I want to make my boy free. And I said, well, sir, I said, Mr. Theophanos (phonetic), this is a democracy. He said, yes it is, but my boy is not free. He said, where I lived before, I was poor, much poorer than I am here in New York. But at least we were free. Here, across the street from our apartment in New York, there is this beautiful park. I can't let my child go to the park unless I go with him.
First of all, can you even imagine the Secret Service letting a waiter approach the POTUS and "stop him"?
These people are simply too ridiculous.
The odd part of the stage
January 5, 2008 - 11:11 ET by Right2thePointThe odd part of the stage event was that she pretended to be shocked and suprised to see Rosalie Bentzinger and greeted her like a long lost fried she had not seen in years.

January 5, 2008 - 14:52 ET by MikeBBotg, at the time his policy was worth a try, as everything else that had been tried (with the exception of Operation Wetback, back in 1953 (?) ) had failed. I don't think Reagan would advocate another amnesty. In fact, had his policy, all of his policy, been instituted, we would have an entirely different situation today. Instead, the amnesty was allowed then, instead of enforcing the law, Congress completely neglected the laws they had written, and even prevented, via purse string control, the administration's implementing of the provisions in the law.

Same Old Dog, Same Old Trick
January 5, 2008 - 11:55 ET by V the KIIRC, A very similar incident happened during Bill Clinton's 1996 campaign. At a campaign stop in Lousiana, Bill Clinton was "confronted" by a Christian pro-life voter who challenged his position on abortion. After speaking with Clinton, the voter said she understood his position and would probably vote for him. The media conveyed this story with completely credulity.

You cannot BE a Christian and support the murder of children in the womb. Hillary Clinton is a satanically inspired LIAR.
ROMANS 1
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
You cannot BE a Christian and support homosexual "rights". That's why GOD put a DEATH PENALTY on their vileness. Jesus said that liars would arise claiming that they were on "Christ's side". He said "By their fruits ye shall know them". The "Fruit" of the DemoNcratic party are FORTY MILLION DEAD BABIES and young women, now called "empowered", that in any other generation would have been called WHORES. The fruit of the DemoNcratic party is WREAKING HAVOC on the natural family. You CANNOT be a Christian and fight to destroy that which Christ described thusly,
Mark 10:6-8 (King James Version)
6. But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
Hillary the LIAR is intent upon creating "unions" of FILTH. And for those of you who think that Christ will accept whatever junk you put down, you know, those who know nothing that the bible says or calls for, this is Christs position on those who call on his name and yet do NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. He's says that such worship is in VAIN.
MATT 15:7-9
7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Contrary to the liars like Jim Wallis it is possible to actually think you're a Christian and be WRONG. How many of the unregenerated so called Christians of most churches have actually WORKED MIRACLES in Jesus name? Did you know that it is possible to do so and STILL not make it to heaven? Well, it is. That would be why the bible says that you need to actually have the Holy Spirit and that the only evidence of it is speaking in other tongues. It separates the real from the fake.
Matt 7:21-23
21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
So much for lying, baby-killing , sodomite supporters being "Christian". Sorry Hillary but it will be more tolerable for Sodom in the Day of Judgement than for you and your ilk. See they didn't have Scripture telling them that their filth was ABOMINABLE, unlike you HILLARY, who, knowing the righteous judgement of God, that those who do such things are worthy of DEATH, advocate that their filth be "tolerated".
