Many of us here, of course, take it for granted that the news media focuses far more on any scandals or troubles that occur with Republicans while at the same time they try their level best to ignore those that are perpetrated by Democrats. Sometimes that claim is open to interpretation, sometimes it seems too obvious to doubt, but that the media favors the Dems seems beyond doubt. The MRC recently had a much talked about media bias report that went a long way toward proving with statistics that our contention is true (Rise and Shine on Democrats), at least as far as morning TV shows go.
But, it's always helpful to get as many statistics as possible to buttress our case. I have here another small indication of how the GOP is treated unequally with the Democrat Party revealing Media Bias in the form of a Nexis* search of two ongoing, but not equally treated, scandals in the news. Our search parameters covered the last 90 days from September 6th back.
The first search result is that of the bathroom sex solicitation incident involving Republican Senator Larry Craig of Idaho. A Nexis search for keywords reveals the following results:

That equals 3,733 mentions of this story in the news sources contained in the Lexis-Nexis database.
Let's compare that with a Democrat Party scandal. The recent revelations that the Clintons and other top Democrat officials have been getting massive campaign donations by a criminal on the lam -- a story that broke around the same time as the Larry Craig story -- reveals some telling stats.

That equals a paltry 898 mentions of this shocking political scandal.
Now, wouldn't it seem to you that the story of a perhaps closeted gay Senator being "outed" is far less important to the "culture of corruption" in Washington than the story of a presidential candidate who has been taking massive campaign contributions from a convicted felon who is on the run from justice? Isn't it far more important to investigate illegal campaign donations to a politician than it is to report on the sex life of a politician?
Sex lives are not important, right? Heck, that's what the media kept telling us when Bill Clinton was pretending he "didn't have sexual relations with that woman, Monica" isn't it?
Yet, we have heard this Larry Craig story, this salacious story of prurient sexual interest, just about every which way we turn as we are barely hearing a peep from the story of illegal and criminal political campaign donations.
Why do YOU think that is?

And if it's like drug dealing or congressional corruption or prostitution or most other consensual crimes, the general ratio is that the dumbest 10-20% or so get busted IMO. In Hsu's case, he was such a big donor to SO many Democrats that he HAD to stand-out in a crowd, though, so it's hard to say.

The good news is that if Hsu's health is alright, he'll be in custody serving out his 1992 sentence for grand theft, and that means the FEC and FBI investigators will have access to him for interrogation.
As if things are suspicious enough, R. Emmett Tyrell wrote in the Washington Times this morning, that his investigators tracked down the addresses that Hsu submitted with his contributions to Dem campaigns, and so far, not one of them turns out to be a residence or a business office. One was a library building.
So, was Hsu really the textile magnate that he claimed to be, or was that his cover as bagman for an as-yet-identified party?
They do NOT want a repeat

So the media is going to be very careful, when they actually DO mention
this, to refer to it as the "Hsu" scandal, without ever mentioning Ms.
Clinton. And the operative words will be no more specific than "democratic candidates."

Hsu Captured by the FBI

This should be a big story, even bigger than the Abramoff story, maybe even bigger than Watergate. I say should be mind you. The MSM are doing everything they can to ignore the case, even resorting to covering their ears and singing "Don't worry, be happy" as loud as possible.
This story has octopus legs we haven't even seen yet, just wait.
And why is it that all of a sudden the rule of law is suspended when Democrats are caught red handed with dirty money. Dirty money does not become clean by giving it to charity (All charities BEWARE). This money is reportedly STOLEN money that has been LAUNDERED through the Democratic Party candidates who accepted it and were intending to spend it on their election.
If you or I were to have possession of stolen money, that money would HAVE to be surrendered to the Sheriff and ultimately returned to its rightful owners. Since when are Democrats allowed to ditch money found in thier possession that we all know they KNOW IS STOLEN, by giving it to charity.
Each and every person who has touched this money should be arrested by Federal Marshals and their bank accounts FROZEN until an audit can be made of how much money this guy laundered through the election system and EVERY DIME returned to the VICTIMS, YES VICTIMS of Hsu's reported fraud.
Why haven't we seen Hsu's victims on the news telling their story of how they lost money to Hsu?
Any Charity that accepts this stolen money from any candidates attempting to ditch it should also be charged with accepting stolen money and their 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status REVOKED by the IRS.
I can't believe how passive everyone in the news seems to be on this. This story is an iceberg and the Democratic Party has just hit it.

So what did he do with all of that ill gotten money? Well, he gave lots of money to the Democrats. You do the math.
If there is a Chinese connection, and there very well may be, I suspect that it may be that Hsu was promised to get all that money back from a PLA Front company wired into a Hong Kong bank account when Hillary (as President) allows same PLA front to bid on satellite launch contracts just like Bill did.

One can only hope that once he finds himself looking down the barrel of a long prison sentence he will start to sing like the proverbial canary. I’m sure Hill and Bill are just pleased as punch at the prospect! I wouldn’t be surprised if he were to suddenly pull a Vince Foster and miraculously make all their problems go away. I hope the guards are keeping a very close eye on him.
