Is he experienced enough?  Is he ready?  Does he know enough about current affiars?  Does he -- does he feel comfortable enough on the national stage to not know about this historical and important event that has happened within the last week, with last night being the biggest news of all (Senate action)?

What does this say about those that watch, and work for, network and liberal "news" stations?  That they, as you are, Charlie, are completely unaware? 

That would, by using reason and logic, clearly demonstrate that you, and by extension, your viewers, are woefully uninformed people.

There is no way that he is NOT aware of this story.  He and the rest of the government run media are spiking the story.  They don't want the obvious to happen and that is for it to lead directly to this president. After all this was about the third line on his resume for president - being a community organizer for ACORN (the third line is the end of the resume - the rest is blank).

And he had the nerve to challenge Sarah Palin about the obscure Bush Doctrine, what a joke.  Here this moron sits, day in and day out, at a desk where he has interns feeding him headline updates on breaking news every ten or fifteen minutes, from every news outlet in the world.  And with this as his available resource, he has the nerve to say he wasn't aware of the Acorn revelations.  The sad thing about him and his colleagues at NBC and CBS is that they never, ever are required to explain their stupid on-air decisions, and that's why the evening network news has become the laughing stock of the country.  It's no longer news; it's managed stupidity camouflaged as news.

Once again, Gibson proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is as dumb as a stick. Not because he didn't know about the ACORN tapes etc, but because he thought people would BELIEVE he didn't know. Now that right there is dumb.

O'Reilly just mentioned Gibson's idiot moment on his show, as well as how NBC is pretty much excusing ACORN's behavior.nr  Unreal how things are in the Lamestream Media these days.

Good Lord, the only thing that would have made this better was if Sarah Palin was asking the questions.  I don't believe I've ever seen a more fitting outcome for someone who would look down his glasses, at a Vice-Presidential candidate, asking a question like he did.  Krauthammer knocked the question out of the ball park like there was no way to prep for an idiot question.  I don't know why McCain's people thought it was a good idea to let anyone in the MSM get a chance at Palin, they're showing themselves for what they are and we all assumed it then.

ACORN isn't Obama, it just supports  him.  The media is treating them as if they're the same.  So, if ACORN is found guilty of all these charges, losing funding, and is completely disgraced, what does that say about the MSM?????????

I haven't heard a word of condemnation towards ACORN from our President.  Sure didn't take him long to judge a single police officer based on hearsay, did it?

And I would think the President would have an interest in the safety of children.

Why would Charles Gibson be expected to know about the ACORN scandal? He doesn't watch the News.

The fact that all of the MSM networks have become echo chambers concerning the Joe Wilson "outburst" being racially motivated, it is perfectly clear that Gibson and his network have nothing to do with the news. He is a propagandist of the Nth degree (Hey! Did I just use the "N" word?!? Racist!)

Their actions clearly show that sides have been taken.

Many of these anchors, like Shemp Smith for example, clearly do not write the news that the teleprompters give them. Gibson may be another. Why do we assume that a newsreader knows the news of the nation? He may not read a single newspaper, he might not use the internet. It's not necessary for the job he does.
