This year, the Democratic Party has given us example after example of chronic foot in mouth disease (Rep. John Murtha, Rep. Alcee Hastings, VP-elect Joseph Biden, and now Sen. Harry Reid). Yet the vast majority of them still got re-elected by wide margins. Why? Because the moronic MSM shelters and coddles Dems to a nauseating level.

We all know what would happen if a Republican said one-tenth of the idiotic things Democrats say. The MSM would declare open season, of course!

Not so much that there are classless a$$holes like this, but that they keep getting re-elected to Congress. Reid is the best argument for term limits that I've seen.

He is such an arrogant swine, but we all know that.  No way any Republican could ever survive something like this.  He must not need a fart fan in his bathroom either, but I digress.

Perhaps he has been smelling the homeless people trying to seek shelter from the weather that a few years ago liberals were demanding be let into buildings that others were trying to make more habitable.  I am a bit fuzzy on the specifics, but it seems like libraries were the target at that time.  I guess he is living evidence of the "Do as I say, not as I do" group, expecting 'little' people to carry out the edicts of liberal (progressive) politicians while ignoring them themselves.  But didn't Republicans try to correct some of that when they were the majority in 1994?  One can only speculate how bad it will get once the Dems are inaugurated in January and have control of the government.  I'm sure the press about Democrats will all be rosy during that time while press about Republicans will still be blaming them for anything wrong.

It appears that Obama was elected President by the dumbed-down Americans liberals have been creating for the last few decades.  They are driven by their emotions and feelings rather than by thinking.  Far too many choices are made on that basis creating the trouble we are in now.

He will skate on this comment and that is what is truly incredible.

Imagine if Sarah Palin had said this (of course, the media was repeating the lie that shouts of "kill him" were heard at her rallies, a claim the Secret Service says were unfounded).

Schmucks like Reid have a permanent inferiority complex and are constantly looking for opportunities to assert their manliness - which seems fairly reasonable until you consider that annoying people to the point of getting your teeth knocked out isn't the best way of demonstrating your machismo.

Then again, Reid's head, as well as those of the MSM are at 60% of normal cranial capacity and maybe they just don't get the point.

You should probably listen to your staff more often because it appears they, at least, know what manners are. I hope you lose your senate seat next time. Those "smelly" tourists go to Washington, DC to see all the history of great leaders and this nation. You, however, do this nation a grave disservice by dismissing their interest in American civics and history. You are a petty man, unworthy of your office, and owe DC tourists a sincere apology.

     You know, when reading Reid's statement, I picture those words comming out of the mouth of an 18th Century French Aristocrat.  Does he need smelling salts or snuff to block the odor of the common peasants that dare to visit the halls of government?  I think from now on he should show up to the senate with lace-cuffed blouses and a perfumed kerchief to wave in front of his nose lest he's offended by the commoners he serves.

Nobody  even mentioned that the Capitol Visitors Center was 4 years past schedule and over 300 million over budget. Our government running at full efficiency.  Can't wait for universal health care....it should be a right don't you know.

Now that Mr. Foot-in-Mouth Biden is the veep-elect, Mark Levin has named Reid the Dumbest Person in the Senate.  I don't know, there are so many.  Boxer is dumb as a box of rocks, and Chucky Schumer (I'd call him my senator but I live in NY and there is NO one who represents me, believe me) is evil, stupid, or both.  But when I hear Reid speak I'm flabbergasted there are Nevadans who actually voted for him.  

I know why they want Rush, Mark and others off the air.  We have lost all respect for politicians because daily we hear their idiocies in their own voices.
