Well, well.
The portion of Joe Biden's Wikipedia entry relating to his 1988 presidential campaign has been worked over a bit.
Specifics relating to his undergraduate grades have strangely disappeared. There are other subtle changes as well.
Comparison pics are after the jump.
Last night:

Today (as of 10:30 a.m.):

I thought Joe would have been proud of those A's in phys ed.
Other changes are worthy of comment. So ..... comment away.

There's still damaging info in the updated Wiki. Wonder when that's going to disappear too?

Sat, 08/23/2008 - 11:06 ET by HumanEventsThat's very interesting.
Soon after hearing Biden got the nod, I went on wikipedia's entry to read about some more details about him. I noticed there was nothing about his controversial statements (something they usually include, except sometimes for Democrats I guess). I wondered if his entry had always been devoid of those statements or if wikipedia deleted them that fast upon learning of his selection.
On conservapedia, however, you get those comments and anything else about Biden that is less than stellar. So remember to check that site when wishing for complete information about a politician or political commentator.
I wonder why the conservapedia people don't copy to wikipedia

Only Joe wasn't lying about graduating in the top half of his class. He thought they meant alphabetically.

Sat, 08/23/2008 - 11:26 ET by motherbeltTom, I posted in another thread that I also did a Google search for the term "Biden Obama not ready" and had some strange happenings. 3 of the first 4 links go other links to Obama's website.
Not that I'm a conspiracy theorist...but....it is strange, especially in light of this Wiki thing.

Wikipedia needs accountability.
Sat, 08/23/2008 - 11:29 ET by pbthinkerIn a way, it's neat that you can ammend Wikipedia comments, adding to the facts, etc. However, when this process is used to obfuscate the facts, or to present lies that may be taken for the truth, there needs to be some accountability. If Wikipedia wants to maintain its credibility, it's going to have to address this stuff. Can they possibly be impartial? If they're liberals, I doubt it.

Nice how the wiki entry about is Political position ignores 2007
Sat, 08/23/2008 - 11:39 ET by Dee BunkAll it says is
"Biden is considered moderate liberal, with a 77.5 percent liberal voting record in 2006 and lifetime score of 76.8 percent, according to a Washington Post analysis.[46]"
It ignores that his 2007 liberal rating was the third highest at 94.2
And his lifetime ACU rating
Sat, 08/23/2008 - 11:54 ET by HumanEventsAnd his lifetime ACU rating is 14%. Yet I guess since Obama is the most liberal senator of all, the msm will try to characterize Biden as a more "moderate" or "centrist" Democrat, hoping to attract more independents.
I'm glad Biden was selected instead of Bayh. Bayh has a 21% ACU rating (which would help the media using the moderate label a little more) and is supposed to be long time popular in Indiana.

He's a huge liberal, just look through his revision history.
So much for NPOV, huh? I'd change it, but I was permanenty banned by Freakazoid David Gerrad for not toeing the line well over a year ago. The cowards couldn't match wits, so they go rid of me.

Gravitas?
Sat, 08/23/2008 - 13:45 ET by AndanteRemember when a relatively young President Bush was mercilessly bombarded with the accusation that his choice for an older running mate was a pathetic attempt to bring "gravitas" to his campaign? I'm sure the MSM will find a similar story in young, inexperienced Obama's choice of Biden for a running mate. Silly me.

Wikipedia needs to be arrested and charged with fraud for claiming to pertain in any way to facts or objectiveness.
