Liberal Radio Hosts Lament a New Heart Was Given to 'Mass Murderer' Dick Cheney

Former vice president Dick Cheney had the audacity to speak against President Obama at a Wyoming GOP convention, saying "he has been an unmitigated disaster for the country." This caused several liberal radio hosts to wish he’d never received a heart transplant. Randi Rhodes said “It just kills me that somebody died and gave this man a chance at a heart!”

Mike Malloy called him a mass murderer. “I don't understand the theory behind giving a heart to someone who is slowly dying because he doesn't have one anymore, and yet that same person is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths -- innocent people, men, women, children, who did nothing but stand in the way of Dick Cheney's greed and desire to kill as many people as he could,” he declared. “A mass murderer by any definition.”

Malloy thought everyone should agree with him: “I don't give a damn where you fall on the political spectrum, you know and I know especially you phony-ass right wingers -- you know what Cheney and Bush did! What they did with the invasion of Iraq! So this mass killer -- this murderer -- takes somebody's heart. I don't know, I guess eventually there's justice where it concerns Dick Cheney though how in the hell is it ever going to be served?”

It’s amazing that liberals think they are the bleeding hearts of compassion, and therefore somehow if a conservative has a heart transplant, he or she should have the decency to become a liberal as a thank-you note. One should never get a new heart and attack Saint Obama.

Rhodes ran a clip of Cheney and then complained "Why does anybody listen to Darth Vader?...The saddest part is Dick Cheney goes around talking like this after someone gave up their heart so that he could continue to talk like this! He’s given the miracle of an extended life – someone actually donated a heart so that Dick Cheney could finally have one – and look at what he does with it! Life extended, and he celebrates it by grabbing a microphone and bad-mouthing people!”

And if Randi Rhodes had a heart transplant, she’d suddenly be Mother Teresa?  No more bad-mouthing people? No more calling Hillary Clinton a prostitute?

“Thank you, Jay-sus! It’s a miracle,” she joked. “Thank you Jay-sus! And you know that family thanked Jesus for his heart – which he’s managed to shrivel in just a few weeks, and turn as black as night in just a few weeks...Sounds as cold as the last one!”

Then came the Schinder's List allusions:

I got the feeling when the end really comes, Dick Cheney is going to, I don’t know, pull an Oscar Schindler and regret the lives he didn’t save. This is what I tell myself so I can’t – so I don’t have to contemplate that I live in the world with this evil guy. That one day, somehow, he will regret all the nasty things he said, and all the nasty things he did. And he will beg for forgiveness! But you know that’s not going to be true. You know that when the Grim Reaper comes to visit him, he’s going to bargain for ten more minutes. Ten more minutes cause he’s got some more awful things to say, some other person he needs to smear, you know, before he goes. “I didn’t even get to say anything about Michelle Obama. Please?”

Unbelievable. I can’t believe this is what this man does with the gift of an extended life....

It just kills me that somebody died and gave this man a chance at a heart! And he took it! And this is what he's doing with it! There were people further down the heart transplant list who did not get a heart so Dick Cheney could have one, and look what he does with it! Thank you Jay-sus!

Calling Cheney a Mass Murderer

Submitted by Tugboat Phil on Wed, 04/18/2012 - 1:03pm.

is as absurd as calling Malloy a radio show host.

President Obama is a Muslim (from his own lips), Kenyan (read it from his publicist) a homosexual (read it on a news magazine cover) and a Socialist (I'm alive and can see it for myself)

Cheney is old history. The unhinged Left needs to get over the fact that Cheney isn't a political player anymore.

The comments by Rhodes and Malloy prove who really is heartless (not to mention brainless).

The criteria for being on the list will be interesting.

Present Bo already has his death panels, they just aren't in full swing yet. Some medications and treatments are already being denied to seniors. We just haven't been visited yet by the government reps to help us on our way.

Too bad that Mr. Malloy's mother wasn't as left wing and unhinged as he is. She would have aborted him an denied the world his limited intelligence, limited grace, lack of manners and lack of coherent independant thought.

coco, you were faster than I....I was trying to edit my comment to include this, regarding Obama's plan for older people.

It's from ABC's White House Special on Health Care (or not)

End-of-life issues were raised as well; right now it is estimated that nearly 30 percent of Medicare's annual $327 billion budget is spent on patients in their final year of life.

Jane Sturm told the story of her nearly 100-year-old mother, who was originally denied a pacemaker because of her age. She eventually got one, but only after seeking out another doctor.

"Outside the medical criteria," Sturm asked, "is there a consideration that can be given for a certain spirit ... and quality of life?"

"I don't think that we can make judgments based on peoples' spirit," Obama said. "That would be a pretty subjective decision to be making. I think we have to have rules that say that we are going to provide good, quality care for all people.

and then, in his usual double-talking fashion the president, in a jaw-dropping contradiction, claimed this:

"Ultimately that's going to be between physicians and patients."

So individual doctors will make those determinations, but in line with the "rules" that are in place.

those "rules"

Submitted by jon_torlin on Wed, 04/18/2012 - 2:27pm.

Those "rules" as he calls them are based on the beliefs of the libs that have a very low value of life.  It gets supplemented by the Muslim in Chief in which we know that Islam has NO value on life.  The two work real well hand in hand.

What doesn't get mentioned as well is who decides what "good quality care for all people" is when they say "we are going to provide."  Not "the doctors will provide."   "We" as in the federal government under ObeymeCare, as the Ear Leader says.  Any doctors who do otherwise will be barred from practicing medicine.

And who in the federal government is going to decide this?  The HHS Secretary, Sebelius, herself.  She's gonna write the rules as she goes along.  With these people, if you place your life in their hands, you have a better than damn good chance that your lifespan is going to be significantly shortened.

An Abbreviated Round-Up of Gross Incivilty in Obamaland

Submitted by berlet98 on Wed, 04/18/2012 - 5:38pm.

An Abbreviated Round-Up of Gross Incivility in Obamaland

We all want to be civil, right?

Just last year, with the deepest sincerity, our president implored Americans to engage in more civil discourse, to be more tolerant of disparate opinions and less confrontational, to “sharpen our instincts for empathy,” and to search our souls for answers to America’s disunity following the shooting of Rep. Gabby Giffords.

Either many of Barack Hussein Obama’s rabid supporters didn’t get that civility memo or they interpreted it as a veiled call to arms since they immediately ratcheted up their uncivil, vile, mean-spirited invective after the president’s Tucson speech in total disregard of his heart-felt appeal.

Almost three years later, with a national election looming, Obama’s armies have taken to even more reprehensible rhetoric and, to supplement their words, have launched an unprecedented wave of deadly violence.

Cynics like Robin Leach foolishly think the president of the United States craves that gross incivility and mindless violence serve as tools to create civil unrest and a possible race war to help pave his way to a second term. He may be right.

A few selected instances reflecting the ratcheting but precious little soul-searching:

. A tourist in Baltimore was assaulted by a black man and, adding severe insult to his injuries, he was beaten, robbed, and stripped naked on a public street by a crowd of blacks who later boasted about the crime they had committed.

. Former world heavyweight boxing champion and disgraced, convicted felon Mike Tyson weighed in on the Trayvon Martin affair by opining that “It’s a disgrace that man [George Zimmerman] hasn’t been shot yet. Forget about him being arrested–the fact that he hasn’t been shot yet is a disgrace.”

. Obama buddy, black Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree, suggested on Al Sharpton’s National Network Convention that whites would be given preference had a black killed a white man instead of the half-hispanic Zimmerman killing Trayvon Martin. . .

Heart transplant

Submitted by shayne62 on Thu, 04/19/2012 - 12:00am.

I received a heart transplant in 2002. Prior to my illness, I was pretty much an Independent and had voted for both Republicans and Democrats in the past (although I always considered Reagan the best President in my lifetime). However, post-transplant, I have become a staunch conservative. As far as I'm concerned, receiving a new lease on life opened my eyes to the destruction the liberal left has foisted on society. The transplant gave me the desire to write a blog to express this new awareness (I never had any desire to write before). I think a lot of it has to do with my no longer seeing things through rose colored glasses and no longer afraid to speak my mind.

I'm not the least bit surprised that VP Cheney made these comments and not surprised he cares less what anyone else thinks. There is a certain enlightenment that comes from staring at death and defeating it (for the time being).

I would imagine that should Rhodes or Malloy be given this gift, they would be conflicted. But their hate is so thick, I'm not sure even a new heart would allow them that enlightenment.
