Liberal Radio Hosts Rant at Catholic League, Scummy 'Nazi Pope'

By Tim Graham | April 16, 2012 | 15:39

Liberal radio hosts were furious with the Catholic League for mocking Hillary Rosen after she attacked Ann Romney for not working. Their tweet said “Unlike Rosen, who had to adopt kids, Ann raised 5 of her own.” This was seen by liberals as signaling Rosen’s children adopted with former partner Elizabeth Birch were “less valid, less worthy of respect” and homophobic.

On Friday, Bill Press confused the Catholic League with the nation’s bishops (they are not connected), but on Thursday, rabid atheist Mike Malloy was nudged into erupting about "child-raping" Catholics and their scummy "Nazi pope":

MALLOY: And the Catholic League - that piece of human waste Bill Donohue - then twitted or tweeted or tweaked - 'glad to know Hilary's fans are in a state of apoplexy - you'd think she was outed by their hysterical reaction. Get over it and grow up! You child-raping sons of bitches in the Catholic Church, I am so sick of all of you - especially your priests and your bishops and your scum, the Nazi Pope, I am so sick of all of you. And this Donohue freak -- wow.

He then circled around to attacking Mrs. Romney:

MALLOY: She has never worked a damn day in her life. She has not a clue. When's the last time Ann Romney cleaned a toilet? When's the last time Ann Romney had to catch a bus at four o'clock in the morning and make uh two or three transfers so she could go clean somebody else's goddamn house? When's the last time Ann Romney went to work as, uh, some chump bastard's secretary taking all - excuse me - administrative assistant - taking all the flak, knowing that the job was only as secure as the creep she worked for?

Ann Romney, you're a multi-millionaire you're net worth is almost a half a billion dollars! Don't try to compare or find equivalence between you and working mothers! There is none and you know it! And so does your funky husband! And so does every single disgusting right-wing cockroach in this country who just couldn't wait to come screwing up over the slime and jump on this one! And isn't it nice that the first thing that the fascist Bill Donohue Catholic Nazi goes for is Hilary Rosen's sexual orientation ya filthy pig! Have I mentioned yet tonight how MUCH I hate these right-wingers?

Malloy began by more calmly announcing "I don't know Ann Romney from Adam's house cat - but I would venture, being the multi-multi-multi-multi-millionaire that she is - being in the one percent - way in the one-tenth of one percent - that she has NO idea, NO idea what it's like to work in the public sphere and be a mother!"

For his part Bill Press went after the church as if it were a branch of the Catholic League: "The Catholic Church which is the bishops -- the bishops, certainly part of waging this war on women, they jumped into it and said Hilary Rosen is a not a real mom. Yeah she does have kids she raised her kids, but that doesn’t count because she’s a lesbian. They actually said that, Bill Donohue, head of the Catholic League said she’s not a real mom because she’s a lesbian. God, leave it to them to throw their homophobia into the whole thing."

Press was upset that anyone would distance themselves from Hilary Rosen, that truth-teller: "She was attacked for what she said about Ann Romney. She was attacked by the Romney campaign, attacked by the whole GOP hate machine. But, she was also thrown under the bus by President Obama, by the First Lady and by the Chair of the Democratic National Committee. Sam Stein at the Huffington Post yesterday said the Democrats are going to run out of buses to throw Hilary Rosen under, and oh also by David Axelrod. So here’s how oh by the way I have to tell you I’m here to defend her because I think all she (Hilary Rosen) did was tell the truth. She told the truth."

Catholic League....

Submitted by umpete on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 4:00pm.

...comments about adopting were certainly not an example of taking the high road, as the "Catholic League" should. Whoever was responsible for that tweet should re-think their position and applaud Rosen for taking the responsibility for being a parent.

As for Molloy, whoever he is, his right to speak into a mic on public airwaves should be rescinded. The first amendment has nothing to do protecting speech like his.

Comment by the Catholic League

Submitted by Radical1979 on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 4:21pm.

Could only be considered objectionable by someone looking to have an objection. I highly doubt it was a knock on adoption as the Catholic Social Services is very involved in adoption. This is a typical left tactic of making insinuations then using those insinuations to spread vitriole.

It was pretty low class. It

Submitted by redfish on Tue, 04/17/2012 - 9:29pm.

It was pretty low class. It wasn't a knock on adoption but it was a knock on lesbian women. Christians don't want that type of person representing them. I don't agree with umpete that they should have to applaud Rosen for adopting. Not knocking gay people for their decisions one thing, that doesn't mean you have to go 180 in the other direction and agree with their decisions to adopt.

It is just the liberal scum

Submitted by John21 on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 4:15pm.

It is just the liberal scum talking.

They know their is a very good possiblity that their socialist medical plan is going to fail. They know that they cannot intiminate the church and if they push to hard and they church withdraws from the many charities it funds in this country it will be an epic fail. They will lose the poor because they cannot afford thru the government to pickup those commitments.

They also hate the church because unlike them, the church has followers and integrety which they threw away along time ago. They have already proven their lack of honesty and morality and the willingness to do what ever it takes to achieve the liberal agenda.

Scum will alway be scum.

The wonderful wisdom of the liberal left

Submitted by Slyrr on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 5:18pm.

So this is the best 'reasoned, intellectual' response that the libs could come up with, huh? All their fancy colleges, all their wonderful degrees, all their institutions of (so-called) higher learning, all their vaunted brain power, sophistication and worldly wisdom.

And all their mouthpieces (who are supposed to be representatives of all their grand education and learning) could come up with is, 'I hate you (censored) right-wing Nazis!'

Real smart, libs. Reeeeeeal smart.

(were you smart enough to detect the sarcasm?)

If a Liberal/Democrat politician/media figure wants to put their arms around you, or pat you on the back, all they're doing is looking for a good place to stick a knife.

Sad, but hardly surprising

Submitted by needle on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 5:58pm.

Mike Malloy: “Have I mentioned yet tonight how MUCH I hate these right-wingers?”

Umm, yes, I can say that Malloy makes that as clear as possible with words like “Nazi,” “fascist,” and other vile descriptors. With an unhinged “argument” like his, he has no point to make at all, except hatred, to counter the argument against him and his ilk, so he just throws a tantrum.

Not only does he lose his “argument," but he loses very poorly.

- Looking forward to the self-annihilation of the Manipulated Stories Machine.

If NewsBusters wants to waste its time publicizing a kook nobody

Submitted by Jer on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 9:33pm.

listens to, I guess I'll continue to point out that Malloy no more speaks for mainstream liberals than does some far right crackpot broadcasting by shortwave from his bunker in Idaho speak for mainstream conservatives.

I can safely say I am neither acquainted with, nor have I ever personally encountered, a single liberal who has even so much as mentioned Malloy's name much less claimed to be a fan of this slug.

Sort of like Michael Savage doesn't speak for all conservatives?

I went to bed last night and wanted to add something, my brother's an idiot. Not so much because he knows who the Koch brothers are, but because he knows so much about the cast of Jersey Shore, and he thinks Dick Cheney is Darth Vadar.

Sort of, Rad...

Submitted by Jer on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 10:43pm.

Although, if audience size is a reliable indicator--and I'm sure it is--Savage speaks for millions while Malloy speaks for tens of, maybe a few hundreds of, thousands.

Right On Bill!

Submitted by crusain on Tue, 04/17/2012 - 5:49pm.

Bill Donohue of the Catholic League gave needed background information that shed light on the agenda of Leftist hater, Ms. Rosen. Without his input it is doubtful that the full context of Rosen's attack would have been understood by the public.
