Labor Secretary Puts Up Posters of Herself Marching with MSNBC's Al Sharpton

The close relationship between MSNBC host Al Sharpton and the Obama administration knows no bounds of propriety. The Washington Free Beacon reported "signs posted in at least 20 Department Of Labor elevators depict Secretary Hilda Solis carrying a bullhorn and rallying alongside the Rev. Al Sharpton...Next to the pictures is a quote from Solis that reads in part: 'We all march in our own way.'” A few people over in the picture is the Rev. Jesse Jackson.

Now imagine if a Bush cabinet secretary put up posters of himself marching arm in arm with a Fox News personality. Would that have been skipped over by the rest of the national media?

Adam Kredo elaborated on what the poster said:

“Whether we take to the streets or simply do our work with integrity and commitment here at the U.S. Department of Labor… we are all marching toward the same goals: safe workplaces, fair pay, dignity of the job, secure retirement, and opportunities to make a better life,” the poster states.

It concludes with a call to action.

“I believe in the power of collective action. We all play a role. We all march.”

Several employees labeled the ads as offensive, referring to them as shameless political propaganda, said one DOL employee who requested anonymity.

“It is propaganda. This is what being in a Chinese factory during the Cultural Revolution is like,” the source said. “It’s offensive. It’s saying that we’re all on the side of Trayvon Martin, or whatever Sharpton is doing, and the people of Labor should be for it.”

NEWS? WHAT NEWS?

Submitted by Herbster on Sat, 04/07/2012 - 7:24am.

No news here. Let's move on to IMPORTANT things like transvestites in a beauty pageant, the Whitney Houston cause of death, (SURPRISE...drugs) the latest Trayvon Martin fund raiser, etc. ........the state run media doing their job. What a joke. I have seen ZERO on the news re: White House visit by the muslim brotherhood....this includes fake (fox) news. Let's follow these dots.......muslim brotherhood states that Israel is the enemy.......immediately visits the White House.......receives a going away present of 1.5 billion with no strings attached. Question: Was this money given to obama's friends BEFORE or AFTER his "Passover pander?" Just asking.......

Fox News did mention on their website and on their channel about the visit to the white house by the brotherhood.  And the other things you mentioned.

I wonder if Hilda and Al agree with these people "marching in their own way."

They like that word, for sure. Obama and his merry band of political outlaws never refer to us as citizens. In their world, we are "workers"--rhymes with "collective". Behind closed doors, they no doubt call us "tax paying units". Or worse.

Secretary Solis just called out her own race and threw them

under the bus like Obama did his own granny. Well he sets such a great example on the War on Whitey that it's not too surprising. And I wonder if she likes to be called "Secretary" being that she is a most likely a feminist?

"Just imagine....

...if a Bush cabinet secretary put up posters of himself marching arm in arm with a Fox News personality.

A more accurate comparison would be, "Imagine if a Bush cabinet secretary put up posters of himself marching with a Klansman."  Only difference between Al and the KKK is skin color and the object of hatred.

President Obama is a Muslim (from his own lips), Kenyan (read it from his publicist) a homosexual (read it on a news magazine cover) and a Socialist (I'm alive and can see it for myself)

Welcome to the US Cult of Personality

Submitted by CobraMan on Sat, 04/07/2012 - 1:05pm.

Once again, the liberals resort to personality cult tactics to influence people. Nothing screams fascism more than plastering pictures of "Our Leader" in every public place. In this case, the Sec of Labor, our Dear Leader of the Workforce.

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States. The US Constitution

Unless you're a fetus. The US Supreme Court

This anonymous DOL employee

Submitted by killa37 on Sat, 04/07/2012 - 2:38pm.

This anonymous DOL employee had better hope that his/her comments don't end up in a firing!!! But at least that person called it out as to what it is - shameless propoganda. But then again, Boy Baraka and his gang do not know the meaning of 'shame', or 'class', or 'ethics', or 'honest', or any host of other positive adjectives.

We've got this commie dope, we've got the moooooooooooooooooooooslem brotherhood in the White House, we've got Boy Baraka sending a message to Rootin' Tootin High Falootin' Jack Bootin' Freedom Lootin' Pistol Shootin' River Pollutin' Zoot Suitin' Vladimar Putin to 'chill out' until after he steals or suspends the elections, we've got a full frontal Presidential and media attack on the Supreme Court, we've had Christmas ornaments of Mao Tse-Dong AND Boy Baraka, we've....................ahhhh, hell..............I don't have enough time to keep writing this - I could be here all day. I'd rather go surfing...........
