Daily Kos Hates Huckabee's 'Fetus Fixation' Film -- Without Seeing It
Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee premiered a pro-life documentary called "The Gift of Life" in Des Moines last night, and Kaily Joy Gray at the Daily Kos sneered, "In case it was not sufficiently clear just how Jesus-y the Republican candidates for president are, today they'll have an opportunity to really pander to the extremist wing of the extremist party at Mike Huckabee's propaganda-and-popcorn extravanganza."
Gray mocked Huckabee for having a "fetus fixation" and serving up "16th century health care." She hated the idea of this film so much she admitted she couldn't even watch a trailer for this "filth," but she just knew the "forced birthers" would lie:
Yes, today Mike Scorsese Huckabee will be premiering The Gift of Life, his every-sperm-is-sacred flick, produced in conjunction with the group Citizens United—yes, that Citizens United. Huckabee, wannabe kingmaker that he is, has invited the Republican candidates to join him on the red carpet, where he'll be serving up 16th century health care along with popcorn, so they can really impress upon Iowa voters just how deep their fetus fixation is....
Andy Kopsa at RH Reality Check actually suffered through the documentary (or, okay, at least the trailer) so we don't have to and concluded that it is "breathtaking in its deception." Big surprise there; breathtaking deception is standard operating procedure for the forced birthers.
But today the Republican candidates will be able to really shore up their "pro-life" street cred by sitting through this filth and then, no doubt, issuing statements about how all life is sacred and special and must be protected.
And then they can go back to cheering for executions, booing gay soldiers, and demanding that poor children get off their lazy fat asses and go clean some toilets to develop a work ethic.

Other than that, I agree with her last sentence, except for the booing part. Booing isn't my thing.

NOTHING. Absolutely nothing is more important to the left than their ability to engage in any sexual behavior they wish and then kill any resulting child before they have to become inconvenienced by it.

Reasons for abortionsIn 2000, cases of rape or incest accounted for 1% of abortions.[38] Another study, in 1998, revealed that in 1987-1988 women reported the following as their primary reasons for choosing an abortion:[39] - wiki
25.9% Want to postpone childbearing
21.3% Cannot afford a baby
14.1% Has relationship problem or partner does not want pregnancy
12.2% Too young; parent(s) or other(s) object to pregnancy
10.8% Having a child will disrupt education or job

Tolerance on display...

...somewhere else?
Ah yes, as with the Daily Kooks, otherwise-typical (il)liberal multicultural (in)tolerance is once again on full display for all to see.
If the principle people involved wore flowing robes or burkas and were quoting (nay, shouting even!) from the Koran, I'm sure this llittle Llib twit would not dare to squeak -- er,um, speak -- forth her objections, both from the standpoint of the Liberal-required multicultural relativistic equivalence as well as for fear (would that be bigoted?) of having her head separated from her shoulders in very short order (no pun intended...well, maybe just a little one! I can't help myself!)
Smug, self-righteous head-in-the-sand (don't know what's in it, but I'm suuuurrre it's baaaad) judge-and-jury, obviously fearing those that are not like her, desperately clinging to her Marx and Neitzsche.
Favorite play is probably Waiting for Bigot.

should really take the high road when it comes to writers like Kaily Joy Gray - pray for her, don't stoop to her level of insulting or degrading her. These folks may not change their tactics (name-calling, use of insults, distorting the facts to fit their needs), but those of us on the right can rise above it. She needs prayers and love, not hate.

lib-speak and dehumanization
Submitted by lotr on Thu, 12/15/2011 - 1:41pm.
As we all know, pop-liberals, when referring to any and all issues abortion, resort to a veritable jargon of clever euphemisms. I'd like to take this opportunity to point out one of the more common of these euphemisms: The overuse of the F-word -- that is, the term "fetus," as well as its sibling terms, "embryo" and "blastula."
While these are the technically correct terms appropriate for a clinical or laboratory setting, their overuse by the purveyors of abortion-on-demand are a not-so-subtle tactic to dehumanize the object.
Note well that we don't hear consistent terminology, e.g., "gestating female," in such discussions when referring to the would-be seeker of abortion in the same context.
Because it's a Latin word that sounds clinical or "scientific" to the common ear, the human dimension is lost or subdued.
The tactic is very similar to using terms that denigrate people based upon race, or sex, albeit it's a high-tech, Alinsky-inspired incarnation.
And thus, those who employ the tactic need to be called out on it.

Two questions and a comment

Two questions and a comment:
1) How much reproductive science did we have in the 16th century? Abortion fanatics seem closer to that level. From claiming that fetuses are part of their mothers' bodies (they are biologically distinct from conception due to unique DNA) to claiming a baby is not alive as long as they can kill it before they're completely out of the birth canal to believing it's right to ignore an unwanted baby in some closet until he/she is dead, science is woefully lacking with pro-aborts.
2) Every sperm is sacred? By junior high she should have learned that millions of sperm die even when one succeeds in impregnating a woman.
With all due respect to everyone who doesn't share my beliefs, I say, the more Jesus-y candidates we get, the better, as long as they are truly Christ-like.

Mr. 'Anti-capitalist' is a multi-millionaire, and a glutton, to boot. If Huckabee were to make a film like this while simultaneously working as an abortion doctor, your comparison might be considered fair.

Mr. Moore may have issues with the way our capitalist system is now being run. However he has never said he is against people being multimillionaires, or any such thing. Like I said.....just wait for the apples to orange justifications. Good lord you people are predictable.

Yeah, nice try. He's not against millionaires, he just wants them to face punititve taxes, only certain ones though, not the celebrity, pro-athlete, congress-critter, or hypocrite OWie-loving commie/capitalist film makers(he lied to the Owies of course, but, hey, he's a libtard, that's what they do). He doesn't hate them, right?, he just demonizes them. I'm judging by your post that you're counting on your false presumption that none of us has seen the fat slobs 'films'. But, like all libtards, you are wrong, and false. Your argument, in fact, is ridiculous. If there is anyone on this board that has not seen a MIchael the Hutt movie, doesn't change the fact that ms. Gray, not only didn't see it, but railed against, and actually gets paid to write about a subject she chose to remain ignorant to. That's your excuse for her lazy, typical moonbat rant? That someone else may dislike Moore's policies without seeing his films? Standard moral relativism from libtards like you. Everything's OK because so-and-so did it. Pathetic. Crawl back in your hole.

I haven't seen the "filth" so I don't know what makes the movie so bad. since she hasn't seen it either I can't really understand how she could write a review at all.
but I was forgetting: as long as something is "Jesus-y" that's all you need to know about how awful it is.
I'd ask "why do these people hate Christianity and Judaism so much but seem to really like Islam?" can you imagine this chick writing that a movie was "Mohamed-y"? not bloody likely, and I do mean bloody.

Translation to this and other Ms. Gray 5th-grade level bookreports and ideological propaganda; "THis sucks, I mean really sucks... we are losing... wea re losing popular support...we amy have never really had it..but we controlled the message for so long, it seemed like we did...from the beginnings in the 60's, the movement and strides we made in the 70's, the screeching and grievance-mongering we did in the 80's and 90's...with our reliable media monopoly, we had the loudest megaphone..we were on our way. Then we even had Obama, the one we were waiting for, someone who could accomplish our stated-at- exclusive-cocktail party's goals..insulated from criticism by the color of his skin..all our people would soon be buoyed by so much money and cronyism...we had infiltrated almost every institution in America.
But something happened...I don't know if we played our hand too early..or maybe it was just the damn internet and those damn pajama bloggers (something needs to be done about them)...but people woke up...too many people...and now I'm scared..we aren't the majority...we never were...and I will take my fear of my ideological doom and convey it to spraying venom at my perceived enemies , even if those enemies are unborn members of the human race (which should all die to, BTW, because only us enlightened liberals have a right to this Earth, because we care so much and know so much).
