Daily Kos: Herman Cain Is The Perfect Racist Republican
On Friday morning, the Daily Kos blogger with the byline Seneca Doane tried to have fun with the mass defection away from Newt Gingrich, satirically offering Newt his services in defeating the other GOP candidates. He was especially vicious with Herman Cain: "I'll admit it right up front -- Cain scares me. I don't mean as an opponent; I mean as a human being." Cain, he says is the perfect racist:
Cain poses a problem, though. Cain can get away with saying more racist things than you can, because white (i.e., almost all) Republicans think that because he's Black, he can't be racist, even if he's trotting out every vicious anti-Black stereotype in the book to the delight of white onlookers. (And he will. You should let people know that he'll be your choice for HUD Secretary. The more pissed off he gets at it and denies that he'd take the job, the better. You'll tell him that you know that he wants a job and will give it his all.)
Cain's "insider racism" is a problem for you, because it takes away one of your strengths. I'm no expert on racist appeals, Newt -- I assume that Republicans have a list of people you can call for those, but I have made a study of your speeches in the past day and I have an approach that I think will fit you well: be extremely, extremely patronizing. It's one of your strengths anyway; might as well use it!
Seneca Doane went further, insisting Cain is seriously stupid and needs basic facts explained to him:
So: treat him like he's a precocious fourth-grader. Explain basic facts to him. "Gerald Ford -- he was the President before Jimmy Carter, Herman -- once said...." Or if you speak after him, go with "That was a nice point, Herman! That was very good. So clever! I'm proud of you." The goal is to get him to snap, to turn into Sherman Helmsley doing a rant from The Jeffersons. (It was a TV show in the 1970s, Newt.) He'll start off doing a slow burn. He'll lash out at you from time to time -- you just be beatific and oblivious. Eventually, when he realizes that is dignity is sloughing off of him like the skin off a wet shar pei, he will snap. He will start calling you some ugly names. And when he does, you will have him arrested and escorted away. You'll roll your eyes at the audience with sort of a "well, what can you expect?" look, and they'll eat it up. Then you'll call out to him that you'll still want him as your HUD Secretary, because you believe that Blacks do have a legitimate place in the Republican Party.
This blogger's contempt for black conservatives was also on display in the comments section. This was his signature statement under every reply:
Clarence Thomas had a dump
Weiner said "this guy's a chump"
He was caught tweeting pix riské [sic]
So Justice Thomas got away.

Sorry, Doane, but by definition, Cain cannot be a racist
Submitted by Galvanic on Fri, 06/10/2011 - 3:23pm.
At least that's what some black American members of the Race Industry say. According to them, racism can only be practiced by white persons in positions of authority, or not in positions of authority.
Meanwhile, by my understanding of racism, your comparison of Cain to the TV black stereotype played by Sherman Helmsley is racist.

Liberal blacks can't be racist. NO liberal can be racist by their definition.
Conservative blacks are "off the plantation" as far as liberals are concerned, so they are worse than white conservatives! They cannot stand for a black person to stand on his own two feet and reject the help they obviously need from liberal politicians to just survive from day to day. After all, liberals know they are dumber than dirt, just like "working class" whites, whoever the hell they are! Most people I know work, whether they are black, white, yellow, or pink.
If liberals ever allow blacks to see that they can do it on their own, like Herman Cain, it will be the end of their "plantation party."
And they say we are the racists?

This guy is a very sharp and savvy businessman. I heard him lay out his plan on Hannity a couple of weeks ago and a couple days later Newt was trying to salvage his chances coming out with a plan that sounded almost word for word Cain's plan. I saw him on Beck too, they offered him a catchy slogan, Yes We Cain!

As for Mr Cain. I`ve heard him speak many times and I`ve heard him on the radio a lot here in metro Atlanta. Mr Cain is a classy guy. Very intelligent. An intelligent thinker even. He`s WELL educated and would have this Media Research HACK folded up in the fetal position in a debate inside of 30 minutes. Cain is very sharp. This Media Research HAC is just throwing bombs and hoping something sticks. Cain would chew him up and spit him out in a debate. Cain 2012! I can't conDoane Seneca's racism
Submitted by neutron on Fri, 06/10/2011 - 3:51pm.
Dear sweet Seneca, you just Doane know what you're talking about.
Unlike Barak Hussein Obama (who is not a Muslim), Herman Cain didn't have a white grandmother who was a VP at a big Hawaiian bank. Cain's mother was a cleaning woman and his father was chauffeur to a rich white family in Memphis, TN. (Authentic!)
Herman Cain did not smoke pot and do drugs through undergrad like Barak Hussein Obama (who is not a Muslim). Cain got a Math degree from Morehouse College, a Historical Black College, not some elite preppy college, Occidental like Barak Hussein Obama (who is not a Muslim). Cain worked for the US Navy as an engineer while he attended Purdue, where he took a MS in Computer Science. That's a much more rigorous curriculum than the transcript-less and "Ivy League" Barak Hussein Obama (who is not a Muslim).
Cain started poor, without any advantage, and worked hard for his success. His professional career is one of stellar accomplishment, which is nothing like the privileged life and anointed (given to him) career path of Barak Hussein Obama (who is not a Muslim).
Cain is authentic Black / African American. Barak Hussein Obama (who is not a Muslim) is more white than black, despite his skin tones.
BTW, I'm Lakota (American Indian Nation called "sioux") so you can't call this Red Man a racist. I'm a protected minority.

This Kossack doesn't see the irony in this. The boy-who-would-be-king is coddled and pampered and constantly treated as the special needs child he is by his admirers and the MSM alike.
Any left-leaning participant here can argue that isn't true if you want, but his every "accomplishment" (if you can call them that) is hailed as "brilliant," "outstanding," "genius," or any number of other superlatives, all meant to bolster his delicate, fragile ego and avoid getting under his onionskin thin skin.
Instead of a limousine for motorcades the pathetic man-child should be chauffeured around in a used short bus obtained from the DC (or Chicago) school system. It suits him better.

That quoted sentence just says so much.
Ms.(?) Doane advocates treating a grown black man like a child, when she would presumably not treat an otherwise identical white man that way.
That is how you claim the moral high ground on racial issues in the modern Left, circa 2011.

I like this one: "Republicans think that because he's Black, he can't be racist,"
No, it's the left who think that blacks can't be racists, and we see evidence from the White House and Social Justice Department of this each and every single day. I'm surprised they haven't tried changing the name of the White House yet.
That's probably on the liberal/left wing blacks' agenda for his dreamed of second term of constitutional shredding.

This will kill Herman Cain's chances of getting the nomination. MSNBC, Newsweek, et al will hammer this come primary time. All the squishy Republican weasels, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Newt Gingrich - you think they're brave enough to stand in the face of a race baiter and call them on BS? They haven't done so yet.
Not to mention Michael Steele - Mr. GOP himself - didn't have the guts to correct a CNN host saying the GOP convention looked like Nazi Germany.
The only people who will stand up for Cain are people like Rush and Ann. Then all the moderates will start whispering we can't nominate someone unelectable, we can't be left defending people like Rush and Ann, we can't give the MSM a chance to change the subject from off the economy, so we have to nominate someone more vanilla and stick to the issues.
We don't have to play by the same rules as they do.

The liberals always interject race into any argument or tirade they make against conservatives. I believe it is they who are the racists. Herman Cain speaks with common sense using the basic fundamentals of humanity without regard to race. He calls it like he sees it - the good and the bad. He judges by a man's character and integrity, not by the color of his skin.
Ann Coulter had it right in her book "Demonic". It is always the liberals and their mob mentality that commit the violence, racism, law breaking, slander, libel, and lies.
When one reads Proverbs you almost have to wonder if the author had liberals in mind - "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood [abortion comes to mind], An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” (Proverbs 6:16-19).

Doane apparently doesn't understand the definition of racism.
Definition: (n) Hatred of or prejudice against another race.
Herman Cain calls it like it is. He understands that encouraging blacks to play the "Whitey is keeping me down" victim card and not take responsibility for their lives is racist. Liberals exploit it for their own political gain. To imply that Cain has somehow betrayed his people is also racist. The race card has been overused to the point that it really doesn't have the impact it once did. Obama got to the WH without being properly vetted because of racism. Anyone that dared question his associations with Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers, or his lack of experience was accused of being a flaming racist. Isn't it racist to hold a candidate to lower standards because he's black? Just as it's racist for the DOJ to intervene in the testing of Fire and Police dept. applicants; forcing Dayton to lower standards to hire more blacks. Affirmative action might have had it's place back in the seventies, but it is now a racist insult to blacks who want to make it based on their qualifications and capabilities. IMO Barack Obama is more racist than Herman Cain. Take a look at Obama's positions on the voter intimidation by the NBPP in Philadelphia or the situation described above with Dayton. Remember when he assumed and said that the Cambridge police "acted stupidly" when involved with a black professor. No one should get away with racism - blacks, whites, or whatever race, and that means you too Doane.

This is hilarious, this is what conservatives have been saying about liberal blacks and minorities for decades, that they get special treatment from the media to spew all sorts of vile statements (the rampant use of the n word for instance) and get applauded rather than remonstrated by the libtard media. Now a conservative african american makes no racist statements in his speeches, but suddenly the dog whistle liberal media is all over him for such non existent "racism" while conveniently ignoring the plethora of real examples in liberaldom.

Submitted by retrocon on Fri, 06/10/2011 - 7:31pm.
Cain is an intelligent, freedom loving, independent African-American success story. Exactly what the libtards try to prevent in this country:
How?
"intelligent" -- libs run the inner city schools, and most of the rest for that matter, need we say more?
"freedom loving" -- libs made the first (and all subsequent) gun laws to prevent blacks from defending themselves and fighting for their own freedom
"independent" -- libs invented the welfare programs, knowing they would keep the poor down, especially the african-americans the programs target.
"African-American success" -- well, Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood, the epitome of liberal organizations, literally targets and kills more african-american success stories than you can imagine.
Of course they don't like him, he is everything that the liberals in this country are working to prevent.
