Randi Rhodes Wishes Global Warming Would Cause Flood to Wash Out Limbaugh's Home
Don't let anyone claim that liberal talk radio show hosts don't wish for bad things to happen. On Monday's show, Randi Rhodes was giddy about the prospect of global warming causing the oceans to rise enough to engulf Rush Limbaugh's Florida home:
And so, the global warming deniers -- like Rush Limbaugh, whose house I can't wait until the ocean swells and eats his house -- and he will be the first to go because he's got the best location! He's on Palm Beach, which is nothing but a little island...a long, skinny, little sliver of billion dollars worth of -- crap! Mostly over-the-top, overdecorated, overpainted, overdone houses with silk draperies and Renaissance designs in a tropical setting...On the edge of this little silvered island with a rising, rising ocean -- he's going first, I live out west, my house is going to be the new Palm Beach and I can't wait. I can't freaking wait!
Liberal radio host Bill Press was also giddy, but about the conviction of former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay in a Texas county court: "I enjoyed this so much for a couple of reasons. First of all, it's just because he is such an evil guy. What goes around comes around."

Well... perhaps there is no such thing as global climate change, perhaps there is. But to argue that simply because there's been natural change in the past, man can't possibly be changing it now, is beyond stupid.
After all, shifting tectonic plates have pushed up mountains over the millennia, while wind and water erosion have worn some down. But to then say "the earth gets high points and low points naturally, so strip mining can't possibly be lowering any mountains even if we blow the tops off and dig them out" is, in essence, the same argument.

Like El Rushbo, I live in Florida as well. About 3 and half hours north on the beach. What Rhodes along with all other liberal idiots does daily is ignore history to spew their idiocy. Go to the center of the state(Orlando/Disney) dig an inch or so into the ground and you'll find as many ancient shark teeth that you can carry. The entire state has been underwater eons ago, and in all likelihood one day will be again. It's a natural thing for the planet to warm and cool and has been going on since God made this Earth. Global Warming has been exposed as a fraud, yet the nanny staters don't seem to have gotten the memo yet. If Rush's house gets flooded, it'll be the alcohol this drunk throws up after she hits her quota of two litres of Vodka in one sitting. She's a drunken idiot. She can stop drinking, but she'll still be an idiot.

First, PROVE your global warming even exists; no one has done so, and you libereals are so afraid that we will throw light on to your lies that you refused coverage to journalists at Cancun. Yes, Randi, you're correct, you can't wait because, even if the IPCC is correct about sea level rise (and satellite measurements do not currently concur) it will take well over a hundred years for Rush's Palm Beach house to be engulfed. Randi, you have to realize, you're a middle-aged woman now and you won't live to see Rush's house engulfed. None of us will. I know this must be horribly painful for you to see people, like Rush, who are so much greater and successful at your own chosen career and to see it this late in life but really, if you're going to sit and wait and hope and pray for something, please make it something that has a possibility of happening. You might also make it something positive but I understand you're a leftist and you often find pleasure in the deprivations of others.
