This makes up for all the years he spent being the outcast or nerd within the micro-society known as school.  Now he's in with the popular clique...finally!  Warms your heart, huh?  Wonder how Bill Gates handled not being invited.  Some how I can't see Bill losing a second of sleep over it.  

I remember being outraged watching Brian bow to Obama as he interviewed him months ago.  That is why Brian was invited.  He is a member of Obama's press crew.  The American public knows that; and so does Brian.  Brian and his network belong to the administraton - reminds me of Chavez, Castro, Hitler - the press is a valuable tool to  them.  Obama has learned well.  I hope he also realizes he lacks journalistic integrity in our eyes.  He should be ashamed of himself but I don't think he has the honor or integrity to do so.

I like to believe that once upon a time journalists could go to such an event and have no problem with seeing through the BS and not being taken in.

However, as we learn more about American journalism it would seem there never really wasn't such a time and honest journalists only exist in the mind of Hollywood writers.

Liberalism and socialism depend upon viewing political opponents as inferior beings, sub humans. Yes, the liberals REALLY do think they are better than "average people". This eliteism must be stamped out, and it's leftist adherents along with it.

Williams, thinking as he reads the data coming in.....hmmmm, taxes going up. WH trying to hide climategate. WH wants to suppress freedom of speech. Crazy decision on terrorists. More soldiers killed because of lack of support. ... I suspose I should report on this.

....but on the other hand, being invited to the state dinner was sooooo nice. .... dream .... dream...

Ok, back to business. My first headline -- what should it be. I've got it: "In spite of the continued problems he inherited from Bush, President Obama was able to mend some fences this week with the State Dinner...."  and the beat goes on.

After smooching the hem of Obama's custom-made suitpants for months (Matt Taibbi, cough), RS finally had an editorial saying maybe Obama sold out to Wall Street. But of course, little Matt, in his article, had to call protestors "teabaggers" and opine that they just wanted to keep immigrants from getting good health care. I have news for this arrorgant youngster, he does good research, but so does Glenn Beck. I listen to them both for info. I wonder how he likes being in the same category.

At one level, we laugh at the clear exposure of just how insular and fundamentally ignorant is Brian Williams... He is living proof that one can rise to grandeur and wealth by simply reading a teleprompter loaded with someone else's words while looking pretty... Notice the difference in simple English competence between his reading of others' work on NBC Nightly News and presumably his own work on his blog. Won't take long to figure it out.

Yet sadly, we cry when we realize just how many of our neighbors receive their ONLY news from the likes of Williams, Couric and Gibson...This is guerilla war... we will take our country back one issue at a time... we cannot give up... there is too much at stake...

The power elite of the Left to the Leftists is always superior to that of the Right.  They view the Leftist power elite to be self-made and "of the People" some how...you know, real Democracy.

The Conservatives only rise to power because of their crookedness, nepotism and privileged status.

In truth, it's the same for both.  One can rise up the ranks if the power elite feel they can use you to further their own ends or if you manage to accrue a great deal of wealth so can buy your way in.
