She also claims that Sarah Palin "considered aborting Trig".   That's not what I heard in the Oprah interview....paraphrasing, naturally, she said something on the order of "When I got the news, I could understand how women would think abortion would be an easy answer to a difficult situation, that it could be made to go away and no one would know".

Perhaps Palin has said in the past that she DID consider it, for a moment, but I'd imagine in this book, and on the subsequent tour, that her language surrounding the issue would not include "I considered having one"....I don't have the book yet, or I'd check.

And while I'm on a rant against liberal women, Geraldine Ferraro, I respect you alot, but kindly don't describe what conservatives do and don't believe.  On Greta last night, she tried to paint conservatives as a homogenous group who would and should dismiss Palin because Palin was in favor of Title IX and then further stated that conservatives would reject her because she wasn't a creationist.

I don't know one conservative who would reject anyone as a candidate on the basis of their religious beliefs not being exactly the same as our own.   Sure, it does happen, but I totally resent the media (BOR nailed Quinn, Greta did not) for allowing these people to flame their lies as truth with no "Now wait a minute" by the host.

 You just revealed yourself as not knowing a single thing about Christianity...you appear to have a bumper sticker understanding of its tenents.

1.  You are called to forgive, you are not called to forget.  Forgetting would actually be sinful, as you would end up repeating the same error over and over again..It has been said: "If you always do, what you've always done, you'll always get, what you've always gotten.".  By the Way, Sarah Palin took complete responsibility for her part in the two interviews you mention on Bill O'Reilly...now that is the sign of a humble christian and a decent human being and not a skeezy politician.

2.  Another Biblical premise is..we all foll short, not one is without sin..not one. Thats is why Christians commit to Jesus Christ, they ask him to forgive their sins, and by the blood he spilled out on Calvary's hill they are redeeemed.  Christians are further called to confess their sins one to another, lest they be judged (by God) for that sin.  the very fact you know she considered abortion, is because she has confessed it...very biblical, and also more importantly...Sarah Palin opted not to sin and to trust God on this matter...commendable.

3.  Anyone who claims to be an authority on christianity such that they feel "competent" to chastize its people and ideology, should also be aware that God knew us BEFORE we were born, He knew every decision we would make (right or wrong), he still leaves those decisions to us to make, its called freewill.  God chooses to work within the framework of our freewill. He even knows before you get down on your knees, what your prayer will be.  To say God "planned" anything such as allowing Palin to run in a failed campaign is chlidish, niave, and demonstrates an ignorance of aspects of God that he has revealed to us in his scriptures.  Maybe she should read his scriptures first before making such blatantly sinful and, dare I say I believe them to be blasphemous statements.. do you pretend to know what God allows Palin to do and not do?  Have you not noticed n your own life, you have had the freewill to decide each path/decision you have chosen to take?  Is this not obvious to you? Yet you speak as though God has made those bad decsions for us.  No it is clear the creator allows us to make both good and bad decsions for ourselves...the success of our prayers  are not measured by what we get, as though God is some cosmic vending machne you can stick a quarter in and get what you want.  No, if we are sincere in thought and desire and seek Gods will for us, God will work within our decisions to satisfy his DESIRES for us as we CHOOSE our path.  Thats IS the miracle that is God.  Im tired of pagans masquerading as though they are experts on God , when they dont even know the book is called Revelation and not Revelations.  Its is all together pathetic.,

I have watched Sally Qinn several times now and I have gotten the distinct impression that her worldview is shaped by her atheistic Darwinian beliefs. She criticizes Sarah Palin for writing about the campaign and her perspective of what happened as if her book were some kind of inconsistent screed about God and God's plan for her life. I don't think Going Rouge was written as a theological explanation of political campaigns. While God does have a plan and we as Christians do our best to understand and fit into his plan, we are not little automatons who have no free will. No matter how we screw up God is still able to work his plan because he is all knowing; he has worked out a contingency plan for all our choices. Because God is not bound by space and time as we are, he exists in the past, present and future all at once. And because God is the only unlimited being in the universe, he is able to work his plan through unlimited contingency's that he has already experienced and worked through but we have yet to live. 

Sally Quinn understands existance not from a Christian worldview but from a Darwinian worldview. However, her understanding of materialist evolution is inconsistent. As a believer in evolution, Ms Quinn should understand that all her choices are illusory, everything a human being does, according to true materialist philosophy, is determined by a persons evolutionary heritage and the environmental factors of their up-bringing. Therefore, the one whose life is predetermined is, according to evolutionary materialist philosophy, Sally Quinn's and the rest of the liberal, atheistic, elitist, Darwinist with whom she associates.

Sally is confused over predestination and personal choice. Bill O'reilly made a good point the other night that God's Plan isn't necesarily predistination like Calvin taught. With predestination, you can do nothing to effect a change in God's plan. Self determination allows for God to inspire, lead and direct an individual, who with free will follows God's plan as they understand it. The latter understanding appears to be what Sarah Palin was refering to when she stated the she felt she was following God's plan.
