The real irony is that Bush prevented and stopped cold enough attacks post 9/11 that it allowed this PC thinking to flourish.  It's easy to be PC when no one is getting harmed.

Anyway when is Napolitano getting fired?  She used Homeland Security to go after the administration's political enemies (omg, righwing extremists!) instead of focusing on the nation's enemy, radical Islamists.

This liberal mindset that all we have to do is get along with Islam and play nice and they will ignore us...is going to get thousands of Americans killed.

Will they ever understand? Radical Islam doesn't hate us because of what we DO....they hate us for what we ARE.

Were not "The Crusades" a western response to the invasion of the Holy Land by Islamic forces?  So strange as to how everyone seems to forget that.

As for Stephanie Miller: I've never understood why supposedly educated, professional, and especially vocal women have any sympathy at all for Islam.  Islam certainly has little sympathy for women. 

I listen to people whining all the time, haven't decided to kill a bunch of people yet......especially in the name of a "persecuted" religion "of peace"....ironic how certain adherents to this peaceful religion resort to violence, against even their own.  Once again, the left spins these outrageous theories on why this creep committed an act of terrorism rather than admit what all of us already know.

On a daily basis, my Catholic faith is slammed, misrepresented, mocked, rideculed, hated, and loathed in the media and on the blogosphere.

In ways much more demeaning and belittling than those I know who offer critiques of the violence inherent in sects of Islam.

Goodness knows that should one of us mackerel snappers ever get fed up with having our Pope called a Nazi and our faith smeared as bigoted, sexist, and homophobic, the media will be as cautious in pointing to our religious beliefs - and the mockery thereof - as the reason we went on a shooting rampage.

(And yes, that last paragraph is sarcasm).

But in all seriousness, someone is making the claim that since Thursday was Guy Fawke's Day (the day a Catholic dissident tried to blow up the Protestant English parliment), it's somehow Catholics' fault Hasan blew away 14 of his fellow soldiers (I say 14 because one of the victims was pregnant; Hasan killed her unborn child, too).

First: Hasan NEVER 'counseled' troops returning from Iraq or Afghanistan. That is a UNTRUE.

He 'counseled' troop PRIOR to them leaving for combat. So that's just uninformed BULLBLEEP from Miller.

Not only was this terrorist NEVER "harassed" for his Muslim faith -- he boasted publicly about his al-kaida like views and was REWARDED.

As already mentioned, when Bill Clinton was President, we were attacked over and over by Islamic Terrorists.  He refused to do anything about it, and in his cowardice, he encouraged them to continue their attacs with even bigger attacs.  He was the great appeaser, the second coward in chief after Carter and his failed presidency.  Carter probably started all of it with his cowardice, but Clinton sure opened the door when he let them get away with it every time they attacked us. 

Obama is now going down that same road as Clinton, except he's doing it with the full knowledge of what failed under Clinton, and what worked under Bush.  Calling him the Coward in Chief is very fitting. Sad but true!!! 

 If anybody thinks that this is an isolated case, you are mistaken.  Our response to this is what the terrorist are watching.  By making excuses for this attack and pretending that it was not a Terrorist Act is sending a VERY STRONG SIGNAL to the Terrorist all over the world !!!!

 Every death and attack in the future is directly on the shoulders of Obama.  His cowardice and inablity to make a decision is going to cost us more lives.  The longer he remains President, the stronger our enimies will become.

Another apparent fact in our PC world, disagreeing with Hasan's radical anti American preaching is harassment.

This woman is the perfect example of liberal nonsense.  Oh my gosh, how incredibly stupid!  People are so afraid of "racial profiling" and political correctness regarding Muslims.  There were warning signs from every angle with this guy, and he should have been shut down months ago.  But no - other soldiers who worked with him were afraid to say anything because they didn't want this to go on their records that they might be guilty of "racial profiling".  This mass murder could have been avoided if people weren't so afraid of getting labeled.  Our country is in bondage to political correctness, and 13 people perished because of this.  It is a travesty.

Does anyone remember Bush blaming any former President's for his actions, lack of action, or anything at all?  Ever?  During either term?  For either Bush?

I swear I can't remember once when he said it was President X's fault that I suck commi balls, get repeatedly attacked by muslims, and just spent America into 106 Trillion Dollar bankruptcy.  Not ever.

The taunting-bullying idea is nonsense. That I believe originated with Hasan's cousin, another Hasan, when he was interviewed shortly after the murders. There's been no corroborating evidence that he was 'taunted'. He was a Major in the US Army, outranking 95% of anyone else in the army. Anyone below him would be severely disciplined for 'taunting' a Major of any religion, and anyone above him would not be so foolish to do so and put their entire career at risk. I call BS.

So far this month, there have been attacks in Pakistan,Thailand, Iraq, and the Phillipines by Muslims against their own countrymen. And did you know that the U.S. Navy was established to defend American shipping vessels against attacks by Muslim pirates? The term "leatherneck" refers to the band of thick leather sailors wore as protection against the pirates' swords. When Jimmy Carter was president, Muslim terrorists attacked the Greek cruise ship Achille Lauro, taking people of many nationalities hostage, and shooting an elderly disabled American named Leon Klinghoffer before dumping his body overboard in his wheelchair. There's a long list of attacks by Muslims against American targets prior to the Bush administration. Considering this history, your belief that his use of the term "crusade" was a factor in the Ft. Hood massacre is ridiculous. It's also important to note that the September 11 terrorist attacks occurred BEFORE he used the "c" word. I'd like to suggest that if you plan to continue discussing the Religion of Peace (as President Bush referred to it ad nauseum after his single "crusade" remark) you educate yourself on the subject.
