This was already public record. Even before the latest revelations over 'truthers' (where Van Jones lied his @ss off), Obama knew who and what he was appointing.

We can tell who Obama is by whom he appoints, or tries to appoint anyway. Obama is in full and complete agreement with Van Jones' Marxist, anti-American beliefs.

He would not have asked Van Jones to resign absent overwhelming pressure.

That's OK. His next commissar will be just as radical, Marxist and anti-American as Van Jones.

I'm sorry here .. but has Van Jones actually every accomplished anthing of note, other than write a book, be a civil rights activist/lawyer and serve as a radical for the far left?

Has he created any jobs? Established a business that resulted in a 'green' advancement? Made substantial capital improvements to his own home to make it energy effecient, or 'green?'

I suspect that all he actually has accomplished is to use his loud and vile rhetorical voice.

Obviously, the only people that had ever heard of this whacko are his fellow  eco-whackos.

  It may have been decades ago. It is about power now. Power over our lives. Van Jones was just speaking the truth about the environmental movement. It is a way to get the foot in the door.

  Of course the movement is radical. They are ignoring evidence that humans have had little impact on the climate. It is all about the sun. The sun is the biggest driver of climate. Always was, always will be. Look here. The sun is not just a static 60 watt light bulb hanging up in the sky. It has cycles.

  Like small enough to change the global temperature of the earth 1 degree in 100 years? YES. YES. YES. 100 times YES. 

  The environmental movement is radical because they are certainly not environment.

You have to watch it to see the arrogance.

Thomas Friedman tried to pass off Van Jones' resignation as just the "viral" nature of the internet springing forth smear campaigns. All the accusations against Van Jones as a radical were just the imaginations of people with cellphones.

Brokaw followed this with the advice ... I'm not kidding ... you have to vet information from the internet. Well, how about vetting information from the media? They hate it when you suggest that We're supposed to take their word for it, and let them shape our worldview.

They deny any media bias, and yet they have the nerve to "instruct" America to vet information from other sources carefully. Their argument comes down to this: Distrust everyone else but them.

"Legendary".  Guess we need to revisit that term.
