Spiked: Hugo Chavez Jokes With GM Nationalized, 'Comrade Obama' Makes Castro Look Conservative

If you haven't seen this item before, blame your national media (although Fox had it). Gateway Pundit reproduced this dispatch from Reuters:

Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday that he and Cuban ally Fidel Castro risk being more conservative than U.S. President Barack Obama as Washington prepares to take control of General Motors Corp.

During one of Chavez's customary lectures on the "curse" of capitalism and the bonanzas of socialism, the Venezuelan leader made reference to GM's bankruptcy filing....

"Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors. Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right," Chavez joked on a live television broadcast.

There will be no joking about Obama.

I used to think that I saw the worst of their bias during the campaign because it was sickening.  To quote The One himself..."You ain't seen nothing yet".

Hey Janet Napolitano...I'm proud to be a Right-winger.

bought bias

Rush made a point about the liberal media eventually being State run. His rational was: The State owns the banks. The banks hold the loans. As papers, TV media, and radio fail they will fall under State control, the liberal ones anyway. You don't need the unFairness Doctrine or Localization, you just wait for control.

If that's the plan, you'll see a lot more bias. Too bad there's no way to confirm it.

Nah

That doesn't follow the official story. Never hear that on the media. That's why they exist: to promote and propel the official story.

Story doesn't fit the profile

This is too easy.  The Liberal Advocacy Organizations (formerly called News Agencies) only "report" stuff that will make Obama look good.  No jokes, unless they highlight his sense of humor and no negative stories about him (could be about another Liberal, but only if they can blame Bush).  This is going to be a long 4 years.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.  Sir Winston Churchill

Chavez and Obama...

... are two peas in a pod.
