I don't listen to Air America, but if Rush can take potshots at people, he should fully expect for others to take potshots at him.

Ever...And this goes back all the way to '80, when President Reagan was running for his first term. The first time I remember seeing him, I thought he looked like a wimpy milquetoast, and didn't appear to resemble (I think) either one of his parents... certainly not his handsome father. First impressions in this case were right on target, because he has proven himself to be pretty much what I initially thought, if not worse. 

While Reagan was president, Ron Jr., (along with his useless sister Patti) went out of his way to do and say things deliberately intended to challenge and embarrass his parents, and in particular, his father. As the years have gone by, Junior has continued this track, and in fact has gone completely off the deep end politcally, which is why the left loves him so and why he has a show on Air America. The leftists love the idea of having President Reagan's lefty son sticking his finger in the eye of conservatives and Republicans. Never mind the fact that Junior has absolutely nothing of any intelligence or substance to say...It just matters who his daddy was...Makes me sick...President Reagan is probably turning over in his grave...Nancy must be so proud...I feel sorry for both of them that the two children they had together, have turned out to be such zeros...  

The fact that this inconsequential twit has used his airtime to go off on Rush is, I think, almost a form of flattery...Rush must clearly have gotten to this idiot (and others like him), to the point that Junior felt the need to attack Rush. I love it actually, and this says far more about Junior, than it does about Rush...

Has Rush fattened up recently or something, because last I saw him (which has admittedly been quite some time; I don't follow the guy) he was looking pretty slender.

The reason I ask is that it really doesn't seem to matter to his enemies how fat he actually is. What matters is how fat they want him to be in their crazed, hate-filled imaginations. I find that fascinating.

It's like following Jerod from the Subway commercials around calling him a fat tub of lard after he lost 200 pounds or whatever it was. Yeah, it really is like they're still in the eighth grade or something.
