If Republicans had any guts they would tell Obama to first stop watching NBC/MSNBC, stop reading Daily Loon, stop reading Huff Crap, stop reading NY(in)Trouble and last but not least stop telling them what they can do or can't do.

  Gee, you would almost think obama's confident swagger is just that, a confident swagger. Just an affectation.  There's been some flashes of obama not being too patient with questions or situations he disagrees with.  An experienced politician would have taken them in stride but being a rank amateur he shows his frustration.  Since this is his first full time job he doesn't have the necessary coping skills most adults have learned through getting along at work.  A serious meltdown during a crisis is not out of the realm of possibility.  Also the messianic thing can lead to serious consquences.  Hitler never felt pity for Germany as it was being bombed to rubble because he felt Germany deserved its fate because it had failed him.  Point being, who and what do we have as President?  What will his reaction be when, as will be the case eventually, the country no longer treats him as a messiah?  Mr. Carter still carries the sting from the country's rebuke of his Presidency.  At least though, Carter takes his frustation out on defensless nails.  But considering the background of the current Whitehouse occupant, what mischief is he capable of?

What is sad is that the meglomaniacal like McCain will follow that advice.

McCain will do it just so he can regain the love he lost from the press.  He will not stand up and fight, he will simply kow-tow to whatever Obama asks and then BEG to be brought back to his constituency - that of sunday morning talk show hosts.

Sadly, as I have said before, the Republican party is in full flight ala the UN forces in 1950 from the North Korean tanks.  The professional politicians in the party will not stand and fight and will keep running until they reach a metaphorical Pusan Harbor.

But along the way, a small band of conservatives will peel off and make a stand.  They must be supported.  THose who keep running like McCain and Lindsy Graham need not bother showing up at the polls next time.  They are done.

As an Arizona resident I will now vote for ANY candidate who runs against McCain two years from now.  Even if he is a mass murderer.

So I think what's going to happen, Obama had a meeting with congressional leaders today, and it's a wild guess, but my assumption is that there's going to be an attempt made to separate elected Republicans in the House and Senate from their voters. 

The effort's going to be, "Don't listen to what your voter says. It's not the way this is going to get done.  We're not going to get things done up here unless we work together my way."  That's what Obama is going to say.

Obama is proving himself to be such a lightweight it's scary! First of all, you don't give personal recognition to those you dislike. You don't mention Rush Limbaugh's name! You have lackeys do that. What else do the clowns at MSNBC have to do?  Show some class! You are the winner, an omnipotent presence to many! Obama has alliterated the millions who listen and will continue to listen to Rush and he has given more material for Rush to use against him--as if he needed any more! I detect an underlying lack of confidence in Obama-- a man who constantly needs his ego soothed. But there is a dangerous pretended self-confidence there too. He criticizes Rush and thinks it's perfectly fine because he won an election and has great charm Lord help us if he truly thinks this approach will work with our enemies because they will take him ( and us ) apart. Our enemies could care less that he is the first black president or that he gives a great speech or that his personal charm has won him an office. They must be giggling under their kufiyyas at what silly blunders this president  is making. Lightweight? Better make that a...flyweight!

  We had an election that started way too early with a neophyte in the running. By the time election day rolled around 2 years later, the neophyte was no longer a neophyte as we had been looking at his face every day for 2 LONG YEARS.

  We had the maverick** forced upon us. Then the maverick was trashed by the MSM with vicious articles claiming infidelity and worse. But we stood by him because we saw what was worse.

  We had a good woman and fine governor whose only sin was being new to the national stage be viciously drug through the mud.

  We had the MSM running full on offensive block for the neophyte. Refusing to ask or print anything questioning him while printing article after article hyping him into the sky.

  If this was not planned, well GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY it should have been because IT WAS BRILLIANT.

  And now the neophyte is trying to shut down the only voice we have left.

Wow two days and two things to like about Obama. First, he solves the illegal immigration problem by sending money to Mexico so they can abort babies so they won't be alive to illegally come to America.

Now he's acting like a winner. That is what the Republicans should have done from 2000 forward. None of this bipartisan bs. We won and we should have acted like winners and passed the laws and policies we wanted.

What we should do is have someone post blog pages doctored to look exactly like the blaring headline of a major newspaper front page, and put the same spin on Obama that the media put on Bush when he was in office.  For example, something like this:

    Like the blushing bride who wakes up after the honeymoon only to find that the gentle soul she thought she married is actually a snarling wife-beater; reporters in Washington have come to the White House press rooms and gotten a chilling glimpse of how Obama really plans to deal with the press - with intimidation, deflection, bullying and threats.

    On Thursday Jan 22, Obama's fawning media spin doctors were treated to an impromptu visit from the president-select.  Only a day previous, Obama issued an 'executive order', declaring that lobbyists would be utterly banned from his administration.  However, two of his appointees, the deputy defense secretary and a Pentagon nominee are both lobbyists.

    One daring reporter questioned Obama about this during his impromptu visit, asking him to explain the obvious hypocrisy.  Obama tried to dismiss it lightly at first, but when pressed again with the evidence that Obama is an oath-breaker barely one day into his term, the liberals' socialist golden boy lost his temper.  He siezed the offending reporter by the shoulder, leaning in with an angry glare, and decreed that now was not the time for him to be asking questions.

    Luckily for Obama, friendly members of his media cult came to the rescue, shouting that Obama is now 'Mr. President'.

    Our President - an oath-breaker and a schoolyard bully who never grew up.  On the one hand, he's not making a very splendid figure as our new 'king'.  On the other hand, he's behaving exactly like a king is expected to behave - as a petty, small-minded tyrant.

    A chill wind has settled over Washington this winter - the wind of media oppression and intimidation.  Small wonder Obama went to the Senate and issued a warning to Republicans, telling them essentially that if they know what's good for them, they should not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

    If Mr. Obama is afraid of getting a bloody nose from the media, then maybe he should crawl back to the Oval Office and hide under his desk.  Because until he succeeds in tearing up the 1st amendment, he can expect more of the same...."

If the American people then stand idly by and allow this nation to turn into a fascist dictatorship, which is what they will be doing if they remain silent while PrezBo attempts to silence his main detractors, then as I see it, this republic is no-longer worth saving.

Barack hasn't been in his high-chair a week and he's already dumping on Rush, on a Friday.  Rush's message must be getting through.

If I'm correct Obama made these statements to a group of Republicans, probably thinking he can peel off a few by allowing them close to the accelerator pedal of power, dazzle'em you know. It appears McCain is on board, who would have thought?

If I'm not mistaken Bush never attempted to dictate anyone's listening habits, wasn't he into peoples freedoms.

Paul Shanklen and Rush will now have some additional ammunition for parody and I hope it will be the impetus to put Barack under his desk.

This guy is not my leader and if I am correct nearly half the country feels that way.  What they call a mandate is a majority by a hair.  Rush will sink him and there is nothing he or the libs can do about it, for if they want to cause a real stir they should play with the fairness doctrine.  That's when they will get the message loud and clear.  In the interim the minority needs to sit on their hands and no vote everything that comes down the pike.  Let the libs hang on their record, not hang us with it.

When I saw this on Drudgereport last night I was shivering in my boots.  However, Malone made me see Obama as a spoiled child who was threatened by the big kids on the block.  The big kids being Limbaugh and Hannity. 

Not a wise political move as it cracked his shrewd political veneer and exposed him for the rookie that he is.

He saw the bashing that George Bush received...he's fearful of getting the same treatment.
