Is Sarah Palin Best Seen as a Stripper, Or a Clinton Intern?

Here's today's exercise in Yahoo! bias against Sarah Palin. The Yahoo! news photo slideshow for Palin today includes seven fresh pictures from a Las Vegas strip club that held a Sarah Palin lookalike contest. Feel the feminist dignity being applied to the Republican running mate.

It's quite a contrast with the statesman tone in the Barack Obama slideshow. There's no swimsuit imitators in the Biden folder. Even President Bush's file is nicer.

In the same spirit, pseudo-conservative columnist Kathleen Parker is whacking Palin again, suggesting John McCain picked her because she's pretty. It's featured in The Washington Post today, and on the Post's homepage, with the summary: "Was McCain's judgment clouded by the presence of an attractive woman?" In floridly imagining that McCain was "intoxicated by a woman's power," she conflates McCain and Palin to Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky:

Had Antony not fallen for Cleopatra, Octavian might not have captured the Roman Empire. Had Bill resisted Monica, Al Gore may have become president, and Hillary might be today's Democratic nominee.

If McCain, rightful heir to the presidency, loses to Obama, history undoubtedly will note that he was defeated at least in part by his own besotted impulse to discount the future. If he wins, he must be credited with having correctly calculated nature's power to befuddle.

Parker is syndicated by the Washington Post Writers Group, but has almost never been featured in the Post's pages. I imagine Parker is finding the gold in smearing Palin into Monica Lewinsky territory.

UPDATE: On her national radio show today, Laura Ingraham despaired over Parker's column, and said she found more wisdom about Palin in a comment elsewhere in the Post (which she read on the air) -- from a Planned Parenthood staffer in Lois Romano's front-pager on women in politics

The unexpected recognition of a conservative as a role model for women has forced some traditional feminists to reconsider the movement's mission. "It's going to take us a while to find our bearings," said Sarah Stoesz, who runs the Planned Parenthood office that oversees Minnesota and the Dakotas. "As feminists, we've always thought that a core aspect of women's equality is about being in control of our reproductive lives. But Sarah Palin is throwing the calculus out the window and demonstrating a view that some people would call feminism: I can be governor, I can have five children, I can shoot and field-dress a moose, and I don't need access to abortion.

"There's a big debate inside the leadership of the women's movement about how much abortion should be a key political issue."

By the way, Romano, for her part, called Palin "adamantly anti-abortion," while abortion advocates like Stoesz and NOW boss Kim Gandy were merely described as "liberal" -- but then, this is a big admission for the Post newsroom.

This line was also funny: "Palin has not been universally embraced by her party. The Republican Majority for Choice, an organization that supports abortion rights, last month announced that it would not endorse the ticket." They are neither a majority inside the GOP, no apparently are they very "pro-woman."

nobody ever even heard of parker until she started bashing palin.

when i think of that ugly piece of  trash, i'm glad that there's a hell.

I honestly never heard

I honestly never heard of Parker myself until recently. Reminds me of Ted "Who?" Haggard two years ago. At least with Haggard, I did recall seeing him on a History Channel program before his fall from grace, though his name meant nothing to me at the time.

“There are no easy answers' but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right.” - Ronald Reagan (1964 Republican Convention)

I have been reading

I have been reading Kathleen Parker's columns at townhall.com for years.  She is not new on the scene.

This recent outlook of hers stuns me.  I never saw it coming.

If McCain, rightful heir to the presidency, loses to Obama, history
undoubtedly will note that he was defeated at least in part by his own
besotted impulse to discount the future.

I thoroughly disagree with that.  If McCain loses, I think it will be because of his besotted inclination to live in the past. He thought the media would always like him, not realizing that they were using him for their own ends.

Someone Call Joe the Plumber

If McCain, rightful heir to the presidency, loses to Obama, history undoubtedly will note that he was defeated at least in part by his own besotted impulse to discount the future. If he wins, he must be credited with having correctly calculated nature's power to befuddle.

The toilet of pretentiousness is clogged and overflowing.

I am so sick and tired of

I am so sick and tired of the disrespect. Period. Not just Palin, but McCain too. The whole mantra in the first few weeks about "heartbeat from the presidency" was disgusting- suggesting that McCain was too old. McCain walks funny, he can't use a keyboard...blah blah blah.

It's not amusing. It might be funny if people were sitting in their living rooms making jokes like these, but NOT in a national forum, and NOT by alleged journalists.

It is about propriety and good taste, as well as respect. These media hacks have grown up without having to toe the line of respect, and getting rewarded for bucking the "system", to the point that there IS no system. It's shameful.

My parents taught me to be my own woman, but to show respect for others. It's not a hard thing to do. Look at the conservatives around you - they were almost certainly taught the same concept and show the same traits. Then look at the liberals. how many of them show this dignity? Painfully few.

NOT in a national forum, and NOT by alleged journalists.

the operative word there is "alleged."

They have long since forgotten what journalism is supposed to be.

I know I linked to this article yesterday, but if you didn't catch it, read it today. Orson Scott Card really rips today's "journalists."

Will the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights?

Rush Limbaugh said it best

when he stated that reporters went from reporting to news to trying to, in their view, make the world a "better place."

I think that's going to be

I think that's going to be my personal catchphrase from now on. "Alleged journalists". I find that ironic, since the media is always going overboard with that term. What I particularly hate is  "the alleged suspect". I can't tell you how many times I scream at the TV about that. The suspect is not alleged - he is 100% pure suspect. He may be an alleged criminal, but he is not an alleged suspect.

It just goes to show how painfully undereducated these alleged journalists are.

/rant off

Yes, I read Card's article and I agree fully. Unfortunately, no one who it applies to will ever read it, or if they do, they will never recognize themself in the article. The alleged journalists must be taught Tunnelvision 101 in their fancy universities.

Most of the conservatives

Most of the conservatives on this site spend all day disrespecting anyone and anything that isn't conservative, so I wouldn't necessarily agree with that last paragraph about conservatives being full of dignity...

With all due respect, zippers.

Your comment is a broad brush of bullshit.

As was the comment I

As was the comment I responded to.  Fight fire with fire, as they say.

And wouldn't "with all due respect" indicate some respect existing, or were you just being sarcastic?

With all due respect, zippers.

I was being somewhat sarcastic.

Many liberals here receive varying amounts of respect from various individuals. In my opinion, you and many other leftists seem to purposely clamor for as little respect as possible here. You need to remember where you are and behave accordingly if what you want is "all due respect". Use your cheap shots and snide remarks at Kos and the like, where they would be appreciated. It's a simple choice.

Most of you appear to be too young to know the meaning of honor, courtesy, and respect. You don't seem to have ever read nor heard of Emily Post nor Marjabelle Young Stewart. You would do well to read their books rather than the "stuff" you are reading now. One thing to remember, when you come in with insults looking for a fight you will usually get one, but courtesy will be returned in kind. Smart-assed remarks will usually be addressed by someone trying to get your attention much like we try to get the  attention of a mule. Many of America's problems can be traced to the rudeness and antagonism of today's society. Whatever we say or do will usually be returned in kind.

I wouldn't say that indicates a trend though.

And at least I try and be respectful to other posters.  I certainly don't dish out near what I take.  Not that I take it personally, but I post a response to something, and within minutes I have multiple people posting personal insults just because they don't agree with me.

Looking

Looking through that left facing prism of yours Zippy, you may feel you're being respectful. That would be wrong.

What you think is disrespect from these posters is actually reasoned  criticism. They certainly wouldn't want you to get upset and leave the blog.

Well I could argue that you,

Well I could argue that you, looking through your "right facing prism," would be wrong in saying that I'm being disrespectful and all the other posters are actually just responding with reasoned criticism. Seriously, who here am I being disrespectful to? Maybe I just need someone to point it out.

zippers, yes, the left is soooo tolerant!

Have a McCain sticker and you'll have your car scratched or a B carved in your face.  If you speak at a university and are conservative, you can look forward to hecklers and a pie in the face if not worse.  Disagree with gay marriage?  Look for cars parked in front of your house with "bigot" painted on the windows.  Disagree with Obama's politics, you are immediately labeled racist.  Don't like Clinton, you are sexist.  Funny that the Palin haters aren't called sexist!

Yes, the left is sooo tolerant of opinions...as long as the opinions are theirs!

I really don't think that

I really don't think that either side is more tolerant than the other.

Zippers, really? What a surprise?

Funny how it's not conservatives signing up every living, dead and undead person they can find...only if they will vote for Obama.  Conservatives aren't throwing around the names and vulgarity that the left is....gang-raped by blacks in NYC?  Priceless.  Madonna wants to kick Palin's ass?  Class!

Yes, we call Obama a socialist because THAT IS WHAT HE IS!

If you have an argument and can make it, do so. We conservatives will read and respond....but this isn't HuffPo.  Liberals run on emotion, conservatives deal in fact.

How is a dead person going

How is a dead person going to vote for Obama?  Or Mickey Mouse for that matter?  I could register myself to vote 200 times, but I would still only be able to vote once.

What about the numerous comparisons of Obama to Adolph Hitler?  Or the claims that he is the antichrist mentioned in the bible?  Or the insane amount of attention paid to his middle name in an attempt to cast him as a Muslim (as if that in itself is a bad thing anyway), or to draw comparisons to Saddam?

How do dead people vote?

Zippers, you should read some history about Chicago politics.  There have already been reports of children having voted early.  Don't be naive.

Sarah Palin is going to

Sarah Palin is going to look best as Vice President of the United States of America.

Parker, conservative columnist?  Puh-lease. She may call herself conservative, but I have yet to see it.

The thing that's going to slay all of these (ugly) liberal women is that an intelligent, lady-like, values-driven woman succeeded where they never will.

Have you ever noticed how 95% (sorry BHO) of liberal women are dog-like?

Most liberal women

consider being able to talk over someone and have a generally obnoxious personality the same as being a "strong woman;" The View is a prime example.

That's not strong... that's

That's not strong... that's shrieky.  If the military were 'allowed' to use torture tactics, they should run Joy Behar's voice until the enemy begs for mercy.

Dogs.

I should have said 'mangy pack animals.'

I, too, have a beloved fat beagle.  She is pouting as we speak...

C'mon, please!  Don't do

C'mon, please!  Don't do the dog comparison!  I have three Shetland Sheepdogs, and they are among God's most beautiful creatures.  Plus, they have virtues that a Democrat can only dream of- selflessness, courage, loyalty, honor, affection, and contrition, to name a few.  Too bad none of God's creatures are mean, nasty, obnoxious, and vindictive enough to compare to Democrats.

Wait- I take that back.  Fallen angels!  Perfect fit.

What a shameful lot.

So, the left think they can kill conservatism by diminishing and degrading successful women? If they keep this up until election day they could pay heavily among female voters.

Kathleen, We've seen the social examples of young teenage girls who, thanks to Bill Clinton, have engaged in meaningless sex acts and are acting more like fool hearty teenage boys. Yet through it all GOVERNOR Palin has offered a ray of sun light on a dark spot in American history. NOW there's real Hope for a Change.

Kathleen needs to get down

off of that pedestal on which she placed herself.

LYDSEXICS UNTIE!

Hey, I'm not the one who was talking about "young girls engaging in meaningless sex acts.  What, are you insinuating that Bristol planned to get pregnant?  I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, but I wouldn't necessarily blame Bill Clinton.  That's just weak.

I have two kids, so I understand procreation.

Not to confused with sex.

Nope ... I'm talking about BJ's done on a dare in the back of a school bus or in a classroom, teen porn and the like ... because is is is unless it ain't.

My mother was pregnant for my brother when she was sixteen. Like Sarah's daughter, my mother was in a committed relationship; which makes it meaningful. My parents were married, my brother was born in 59' and I was born in 60'.

Yes, I just don't see how in

Yes, I just don't see how in the world that would have anything to do with Bill Clinton.

Leadership by

Leadership by example.  Much like ball players who cheat in order to achieve better results, the way in which Bill spun and twisted what were once considered a sexual acts was left for impressionable minds to interpret. It's not sex as long as it doesn't mean anything; therefor sex is trivial.

I'm sorry, but I doubt

I'm sorry, but I doubt girls take sexual direction from Bill Clinton.  If that was the case, high school would have been much more eventful for me.

The god's would never sleep

The god's would never sleep if there were more than a chicken coop full of AK Zippers.

Amen to that!

Amen to that!

Zip

Impressionable children have been overheard explaining that a BJ isn't sex. Bill clinton's excuse for his actions with Monica was that he "never had sex with that woman". So, since most of us learn by example and children are the most impressionable, many now think that it's OK to participate in BJs because it is not sex.

By the way since you have kids, if they are old enough to go to teen parties, you might ask them how lipstick is used in a certain parlor game.

Girls have been

Girls have been participating in BJs for centuries, not just since Bill Clinton.

Yep

Listen to the latest discussions, times change. At least we knew it was SEX and not really excusable.

I would explain some things to you

concerning the Palins and their daughter, but you, being consumed with arrogance and hatred, wouldn't understand; you see, it has to do with love, forgiveness, and Christian principles.

Now, go back to your Kos friends, pat each other on the back over your "clever" little comment, and have a blessed day.

How am I filled with hatred

How am I filled with hatred - doesn't the bible have something to say about judging people?

So much for those Christian principals...

Where are your liberal principles?

I am not judging you. I am just taking your standard liberal lines and throwing them in your face.

You don't know me, but you

You don't know me, but you said I was consumed with arrogance and hatred.  Isn't that judging?

Do you know the Palins?

You opened this can of worms by, being the tolerant, compassionate liberal that you are, sneeringly bringing up Bristol Palin.

Isn't that judging?

Making an off-color joke

Making an off-color joke doesn't make someone arrogant or consumed with hatred.  At worse, it just makes me not funny.

No, it can make you appear arrogant and stupid

Just because an off color joke is not funny does not mean it is harmless or inoffensive.  Think if someone makes an off color joke about race.  Most people's initial reaction is "This guy is a creep."

At best, an off color joke makes you unfunny. At worst, it makes you look like an ignorant, uncouth slob.

Ok, you got me. The joke

Ok, you got me.

The joke wasn't that offensive though, but whatever.  You win.

Off-color jokes

I used to make them on other sites about the Clintons.  I wish that I hadn't.  It made me feel bad inside.  Now that I am trying to live as a Christian, I wish that I had never made them.  I am not trying to hold myself up as holier-than-thou.

I'll judge you Zippy

I'll judge you Zippy! I'm an agnostic so I don't worry about christian principles.

Quote it, Zippy!

If you are going to make some reference to the bible, explain which "concept" you are referring to. Because there are a whole bunch of concepts about judging in the bible, and they all mean something different.

So, don't just toss out a vague idea and assume that you know what you are talking about. Perhaps you meant one of these:

"The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment." (Psa. 37:30)

"Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph." (Amos 5:14-15)

Oh, silly me - of course not - why those bible passages tell us that we SHOULD judge others!

Government is the "greedy capitalism" of marxists

It's really sort of sad.

It's really sort of sad. You come here and start with your media-generated talking points, but you don't understand that they have no substance behind them.

There is a whole huge world out there, and a gazillion shades of gray. You need to fine-tune your brain so you can see, and understand those shades of gray, and can apply them to the right situation.

As I said, I am a Buddhist. But I don't mock Christians or Jews or Muslims or Hindus for their beliefs. A true liberal should try to understand the beliefs of others, and show some respect for them - not try to use their beliefs as a weapon against them.

I believe you unwittingly took a page from Saul Alinsky's handbook, Zippy. Unless you are a real radical, you are playing right into their hands. I would suggest that you go read some of Alinsky's words. You will find out that his followers are using you - that they have real contempt for "middle-class liberals" as well as "poor people" but decided that they were the ones easiest manipulated.

I may be wrong, but I bet you are smart enough to understand it, if you really let yourself think for yourself.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

First of all, what

First of all, what "media-generated talking points" are you referring to?

And secondly, in my personal experience with certain people of all religions is that many (not all) don't practice what they preach, and look down their noses at the "non-believers," while essentially living no better than them, with the exception of gathering at church once a week.

Well there you go, Zippy.

Well there you go, Zippy. You made my point for me again.

Shades of gray. There are SOME people who pretend to have faith, but really don't. But there are equally as many, if not more, who do have deep faith. And some of these people don't even go to church on Sunday.

It's pretty obvious that you cannot understand this rationality. But really - the easiest way to look at it is to look at yourself. Do YOU go to church every Sunday? Do YOU believe? Do YOU look down your noses at others? It doesn't matter what your answers are - what matters is that you seem to generalize everyone else based on your perception of them. So instead, look at YOURSELF. Do you fall into a simple category? No. So, is it fair and openminded to put everyone else in such a box?

Then ask yourself if you really care about being openminded and fair?

That's how you learn to think for yourself.

OMG! You really don't get

OMG! You really don't get it!!  I didn't answer any of the questions for you - I told you to answer them yourself. And yet, you accuse me of doing what YOU do.

The only assumptions I have made about you are based on your own words and posts. Not on some pre-determined box that I have created to stuff you into.

I thought that maybe you would have the curiousity to actually try what I suggested. I guess it's easier to just deny and point to the other person, rather than actually looking at yourself.

Except - well... it's not as if historically girls have never gotten "in trouble". I daresay that someone in your family was born because their parents "had to" get married.

The difference is between: performing an act on a guy who just wants that action from you and then promptly discards you, and engaging in a mutual act with someone who will stand up beside you if you get pregnant.

Neither situation is that great, but scenerio #2 is what people with integrity do. Scenerio #1 is what mentally or emotionally troubled people and "users" do.

Agreed.  But I don't think that sex with someone who you aren't in a life commitment to is necessarily scenario #1, either.  There must be more scenarios.

Do you think

Do you think that Parkers dislike of Palins being good looking is because she's well, not!

All these hyenas in the media keep forgetting that without Sarah Palin energizing his campaign, John McCain would already be a historical footnote!

Oh - they are not

Oh - they are not forgetting that - they are FURIOUS about it!

The media orchestrated McCain's nomination, fully intending to let him fizzle out, while patting themselves on the back for their "unbiased coverage" and feigning disappointment that they couldn't help him, despite glowing attempts on their part.

In comes Palin. And the media went into instant SHOCK! First, they were blindsided by a candidate that THEY had not selected for McCain, and then she turn out to be strong, articulate, capable, and pretty as well?

She ruined their plans! How dare she? And how dare McCain? Didn't he know how this is supposed to work?

Like Susan {shiver} Estrich said on a talk show the other night - McCain should just lose with dignity - that's the McCain she knows. And she was SERIOUS! And thats what the expectation was all along.

Palin dared to interfere with the plan.

Conservative women versus

Conservative women versus liberal women (and I use that term loosely)...

The older I get

the more I believe that the old phrase about "other women being womens' worst enemies" is true.   I've read KP's piece of drivel in 2 places only to be able to respond both places.  I don't think I could read it again without smashing my monitor.

IMO KP has mounted an attack campaign against Gov Palin because it is getting her attention from the MSM, attention that she didn't get before.  You have to wonder if McCain loses as she so clearly wants him to do, will she think that the right will welcome her back into the fold?  Will she be suprised when she is reviled as being a toady liberal troll?

oops, I put that at the

oops, I put that at the wrong place in the post.

Seems to me

that Kathleen hasn't done enough study of Sarah Palin. When Sarah came up as a potential V. P. Candidate early in the election season, I was thrilled after reading her history of reform in Alaska. She stated then that she had a lot on her plate just taking care of Alaskan business and I was disappointed. There were no pictures accompanying the articles describing her virtues to sway a person one way or another based on appearance. You have to give John McCain credit for his selection of someone with a history of reform without an extreme amount of baggage.

That said, she is a sharp looking woman with a fine family who reminds me of my sister.

Yahoo News is ran by left-wing nuts

Every single day for at least the last 2 months, Yahoo News has had a negative article about McCain or Palin in its top 5 stories.  They have consistantly attacked Palin on an almost daily basis, with almost no negative articles about Obama or Uncle Joe Biden.

Kathleen Parker's simplistic approach to history is downright laughable. Hey, Kathleen there were a few other issues in the last 2 presidential elections other than Wild Bill sticking it to Monica.  There was an impeachment trial, the 911 terrorist attacks, and the Iraq War. Those might have bee a little more determinative of the last 2 elections that just Bill tags Monica.

Reading Parker's trash is like reading the notes 12 year olds pass around class.

I removed Yahoo news (AP

I removed Yahoo news (AP news) from my homepage, and replaced it with Fox News.

I figure that they track that stuff, and just like I will not tune in to MSNBC, I don't want AP getting credit for my "support".

It's pretty easy to do, and it may reduce your stress level a bit. Plus you can still come here and see the crap that the alleged journalists are spewing.

Good advice, but

Good advice, but unfortunately I am using Yahoo for most of my e-mail accounts. When I pull up my account, I cannot avoid their blaring anti-McCain and anti-Palin headlines.

Thanks for smacking Zippy around.  I came late to the thread and was ready to jump in but after reading your posts their was really nothing left to say!

'twas my pleasure.  I

'twas my pleasure.

I normally don't argue with libtards, because it's such an unfair fight, but Zippy just kept poking me in the eye. I have this sneaky feeling that he was really that weasel Allan Colmes - in disguise.

"Me too!"  - Obama (First

"Me too!"  - Obama (First presidential debate)

Just you wait...

Okay, so just to clarify:

  1. If John McCain loses, he lost because his judgement was clouded by a good-looking woman, and
  2. If John McCain wins, he won because the rest of America was blinded by a good-looking woman.

Don't worry, friends. I'm sure NOW will be along any moment now to castigate such a sexist comment...

...*crickets chirping*...

Hello? NOW? Anyone there...?

=====
Daily Sarah Palin fact:

Sarah Palin and Chuck Norris walk into a bar. The bar instantly explodes because no man-made structure can contain that much awesomeness.

Tom

You will surely be castigated as a male chinese pig.

Yes Ms Palin, you are the epitomy of hotness!

While Sarah is hot, she also has brains.  You can be an erudite, down-to earth hockey mom and still maintain your babe-iosity on a grand scale.  Not looking at this as a sexist remark but she just can't compare with the female lefty loons in the lame street media.

Ok, so you get stranded on

Ok, so you get stranded on an Island. You have a choice as to who you want with you, unfortunately your choice is between Helen Thomas or Sarah Palin. And the winner is?

Fallen Women Need A Lift

http://www.associate...

There must be something done about the swelling population of unwanted children---they are noisy and wild. It cost the welfare department 50 thousand dollars to raise a child to maturity while their mothers sit at home watching television and munching on candy bars. Many of those children wind up in prison or spend most of their life in drug rehabilitation centers. If nothing is quickly done the quality of civilized life will be down to zero and the treasury will be broke.  One thousand dollars as a bonus to pregnant women to have an abortion would be a big savings and good start to save our quality of life. That is why an abortion bonus should immediately be given to women with an unwanted pregnancy.

There are millions of parasites that profit from unwanted children. Employers who need low wage workers have their pick because the unwanted do not have the parental guidance needed to obtain a proper education. The vast majority of law breakers are products of unwanted births. Prisons would be out of business if abortion bonuses were available. Churches leaders whose shelters and soup kitchens are filled with unfortunates are against abortion---they fear losing their followers. There are many people that want our nation full of unwanted children, most are interested only in monetary gain. As long as the government is blind and supports welfare mothers we will continue undermining our nation. But there is a solution for this tragedy--- the immediate passage of a law offering a one thousand dollar bonus for women that abort their pregnancy. It will produce quieter streets and save the welfare system and tax payers billions of dollars.

Let's Do This With Michelle The B!tch Obama!

Say, how about we have some fun like these vile SOB's and have a stripper that looks like the angry Michelle Obama!

Think the Lefties will have a good laugh over that or will they be calling that mean and nasty and RACIST?

Go figure. There's no making fiun of a diety and his squeeze is there?

STOP OBAMA NOW!

Um

And that's going to help _how_ exactly? I thought we were all in agreement that people who do this are low.

Adam Brickley

On the one hand, voters do make decisions based on such unimportant things as personal appearance, a lot like high school. Is it important to never mention that? I don't think so.

B believe they chose Palin because, simply put, they believed the Fox News hype about PUMAs. This was made blatantly obvious during Palin's acceptance speech, where she praised Senator Clinton and tried to pick up her mantle.

 I would stack Cindy

I would stack Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin any day over all these Rhino whiner Letterman cocktail crowd and you can toss in Hillary too and you still would have 2 Conservative women too many to deal with this mob of loosers.

Ask a hunter what he loves about Sarah Palin and you will hear guns and understanding wildlife use.

Ask a military person what he lovse about Sarah Palin and you will hear leadership and she can lock and load an M 16.

Ask any male worth his salt and you will never hear a thing about Sarah Palin's looks. It is her ability that inspires devotion from Conservative males and disdain from wimps like David Brooks.

Conservative males champion and adore strong women. Sarah Palin is a strong woman. That is what is interesting about her and what is attractive. STRENGTH.

Only weak people focus on the outward.

Kathleen Parker is WEAK. She also had better get her history correct as Cleo and Antony had an alliance out of weakness and Octavius or the world knows him as Augustus was a leader of destiny.

Hillary

Excellent point no-libs, but I think I could do without seeing Hillary lookalikes in a swimsuit competition.
