Rush Limbaugh inteviewed Sarah Palin Tuesday for about 10 minutes in the 1:30 half hour. On the media front, Limbaugh noted that unlike the media, "you are the one that is holding Barack Obama to account."

Limbaugh added that both the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times both praised how Palin is "the most dynamic and forceful" speaker of all four candidates, but they claimed her forcefulness is "driving away moderates. This is an attempt by the media to make you stop being who you are. What it means is, they're really worried about the effectiveness that you have."

Palin replied: "Well, yeah, I guess that message is they do want me to sit down and shut up. But that’s not going to happen. I care too much about this great country."

Palin also forcefully called on Obama to rein in ACORN and "the unconscionable situation that we're facing right now with voter fraud."  She said of the media, "There's too much ignorance, too much ignoring of his associations in the past." Limbaugh said if it weren't for the media, Obama "wouldn't be at 30 percent in the polls."

Palin aggressively went after Obama-Biden on taxes, suggesting there's a choice between a ticket to "create jobs" with tax cuts and restraining government growth, or a ticket that would "kill jobs" with tax hikes. She pressed on Obama to declare at what point, the economy is too weak to withstand his tax hike plans.

She also said her ticket was pro-growth, pro-life and pro-winning the war with the strongest military in the world, "or we could go in the complete opposite direction."

Rush asked if she was thinking about her political future after this race, and she said no, she's completely focused on November 4.
