 Rachell Maddow has some of the worst ratings on Air America, & that's saying something. That network has a few thousand listeners nationwide, & she is being promoted to a cable "news" channel with bias issues. They barely have a million viewers, & are about to implode. Demoting Mathews & Olby is only delaying the ultimate demise of BSNBC as we know it. BSNBC needs someone to draw viewers, she ain't the answer.

The other issue is shallow on it's face, but since it's TV, it comes into play. Madcow is not a hot womenz, she looks more like a 12 year old boy. Lets be honest, it is far easier to watch FNC's Meygan Kelly because she is hot. She is damn good at what she does, but it is TV, & looks count for something.

I have the digital line-up, but no MSNBC.  No accidentally stumbling on the leg-thrilling, Obama-drooling crowd.  Now if I can only get my Mom to stop watching on her satellite...any clues how?

In my admittedly-slight familarity with Maddow, the words "erudite," "affable," and "high-powered intellect" don't exactly come to mind in association with her on-air presence.

Perhaps she's said or done something to earn those compliments.  Am I missing something with her?  Seriously?

I don't think Rachel will catch on. She constantly crinkles her face like she's got a case of never ending cramps. And she's talks like one of those female sports reporters that tries too hard to deepen her voice. It comes off sounding like she's struggling to pinch a loaf.
