This week radio host Mark Levin suggested that Westernized culture is collapsing in Great Britain with a story about how Islamic sensitivities are beginning to dominate the culture. From the Fox News website:
Muslims in the Scottish district of Tayside are outraged by the appearance of a wide-eyed, 6-week-old puppy on postcards distributed by the local police force, according to the Daily Mail.
Postcards showing police dog-in-training Rebel, a German shepherd born in early December, are causing a furor among the region’s Muslims who believe dogs are "ritually unclean," the Daily Mail reports.
The cute cards were meant to notify locals of a new telephone number for non-emergency phone calls but instead have become a flashpoint for a clash of cultures. Shopkeepers are refusing to display the offending ad and a Dundee city councilor is calling for an investigation.
"My concern was that it's not welcomed by all communities, with the dog on the cards," said Dundee councilor Mohammed Asif, according to the report.

Beware the "Diversity Training" -- which is now a staple in many Government and private industries today. In fact, the Government mandates this for contractors who do business with the Government. With the statement by a local Muslim leader that the puppy postcards are not unclean and that they should be displayed by shop owners, that story seems to have fizzled.
Your news item is unacceptable. It's one thing to teach the beliefs and history of all religions. Ordering students to participate in worship is a step too far. The over-enthusiastic religious education teacher who ordered all students to wear head gear and kneel on a prayer mat should be fired.

Otherwise, I want to adopt a retired "working" dog.
In the Bible, Angels walk with dogs (Book of Tobit for example), they are not afraid of them, sure that was an "Angel" some guy was listening to?

SINCE THERE WAS NO BASE, WE LIVED ON OUR OWN WHEREVER WE WISHED .BEFORE ACTUALLY BEGINNING THE WORK FOR WHICH I HAD BEEN TRAINED, I SPENT A WEEK ON ASSIMILATION INDOCTRINATION.I WAS GIVEN $700 AND THE NAMES OF THE BEST TAILORS IN THE CITY. WE WERE REQUIRED TO WEAR DRESS CLOTHES TO WORK AND WAS NOT PERMITTED IN THE BUILDING IN ANY OTHER ATTIRE.
THAT FIRST WEEK WE WERE ASSIGNED AN EXPERIENCED PERSON TO TEACH US AS MUCH ABOUT THE LOCAL CULTURE AS POSSIBLE.
I WAS INSTRUCTED TO LOOK AND DRESS LIKE THE LOCALS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IE...LOOK LIKE THEM, DATE THEM, EAT LIKE THEM, PARTY WITH THEM,DRINK WITH THEM,TRAVEL WITH THEM. ALL OF THIS WAS TO FIT INTO THEIR SOCIETY BEING AS INCONSPICUOUS AS POSSIBLE. SINCE MINI-SKIRTS WERE GOING OUT OF STYLE AND MICRO-MINIS WERE COMING INTO STYLE, AS A 20 YEAR OLD I THOUGHT I HAD DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN!
OUR UNIT HAD ABOUT 120 ENLISTED MEN (&GIRLS) AND ABOUT 8 OFFICERS NOT COUNTING THE CO.WE ALL LIVED UNDER THE SAME RULES.
DURING THE 2 YEARS I WAS THERE, I GOT ALONG WELL WITH MY NEIGHBORS WHETHER THEY BE IRISH,SCOTS,INDIANS OR WHATEVER. I INVITED THEM AND OTHER FRIENDS I MADE ALONG THE WAY TO BARBECUES (YES, EVEN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY).
IT WAS NO SECRET TO ANYONE THAT WE WERE US MILITARY. WE WERE TREATED WITH MUCH RESPECT NO ONLY THERE IN LONDON, BUT DURING OUR TRAVELS ALL OVER THE UK. THE FOLKS THAT WERE IN THE UK MILITARY DURING WW11 EVEN WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE NICE TO US AND LOVED TO TELL US WHAT THEY WENT THROUGH DURING THE WAR LIVING IN THAT CITY.
IN THOSE DAYS, MOST OF THE PROTESTS (ON ANYTHING) TOOK PLACE BETWEEN OXFORD STREET AND GROSVENOR SQUARE(AMERICAN EMBASSY). DURING SUCH RARE TIMES(ALWAYS PEACEFUL) THE "BOBBIES" WOULD WALK WITH US (UNINVITED) THE 2 BLOCKS FROM THE SUBWAY STOP UP TO N. AUDLEY STREET AND WOULD APOLOGIZE FOR THE "INCONVENIENCE."WE REALLY ENJOYED BEING TREATED AS "DIPLOMATS!
WE MADE FRIENDS WITH SOME OF THE "BOBBIES" WHO HAD THE EMBASSY DUTY, AND WHEN OFF DUTY THEY WOULD GLADLY PARTY WITH US.
MY POINT...BY BEING TAUGHT TO PROPERLY ASSIMILATE FROM THE GITGO WE WERE PAID BACK WITH INTEREST BY OUR BRITISH HOSTS. WE LEARNED TO BE TOLERANT, AND ALSO RESPECT THE TRADITIONS OF THE SOCIETY IN WHICH WE LIVED. WE LEARNED TO TELL THEM OF OUR LOCAL TRADITIONS BUT NOT ATTEMPT TO IMPOSE. I DON'T REMEMBER LEAVING THAT COUNTRY HAVING MADE ONE SINGLE ENEMY, BUT WITH MANY FRIENDS OF WHOM I WILL NEVER FORGET.
DURING MY STAY I TRAVELED OVER MUCH OF ENGLAND, AND A LOT OF SCOTLAND. ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE WEEKENDS OF MY LIFE WAS AN ENTIRE WEEKEND IN THE TOWN OF OBAN, SCOTLAND.THE SWEETEST THING ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH IS A RED-HEADED SCOT-IRISH GIRL!
I AM CONSIDERING GOING BACK FOR A VISIT, BUT DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. THOSE MUSLIMS THERE DON'T KNOW HOW WE'LL THEYVE GOT IT! THE UK CITIZENS I KNEW THEN WOULD NOT PUT UP WITH THIS. IT'S HARD FOR ME TO BELIEVE THEY WILL NOW JUST ROLL OVER AND PLAY DEAD. I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE!

MUSLIMS OUTRAGED!
Yesterday we had yet another one of those "Muslims Outraged" headlines. This
time it came from Scotland – and the heinous crime that so outraged the local
Muslim population was a poster from the Teaside police advertising a new
non-emergency phone number. On that poster there was a puppy sitting in a
police hat. It was the puppy that the local Muslim community considered to be
so outrageous. Muslims, you know, consider dogs to be unclean. Maybe they
ought to spend a bit of time thinking about how other people view them.
Anyhoo ... When we started talking about all of the "Muslims Outraged"
newspaper headlines we had seen over the years. Using the Yahoo search engine I
looked for the number of hits on various versions of "Muslims Outraged." We put
the phrase into quotation marks so that it would only show a hit where those
words appear together. That particular grammatical usage would more often
appear in headlines than in the body of a story where the phrase would more
likely be "Muslims were outraged." So .. here are your results.
Muslims Outraged
35,600 hits
Christians Outraged
2,990 hits
Jews outraged
2,060 hits
Buddhists Outraged
24 hits
Catholics Outraged
11,500 hits
Democrats Outraged
45,600 hits
Republicans Outraged

Clearly when it comes to being outraged, Democrats take the trophy home, with
Muslims right behind. Libertarians and Buddhists bringing up the rear. With
all of the terror, murder and mayhem that radical Muslims have unleashed on the
world, and considering the fact that Muslims are involved on one side or the
other of almost every shooting war in the world (of which there are about 130 or
so), it is frankly surprising that they fine enough time to express so much
outrage.

I mean, they put their feet in common public fountains, bathe naked together, (well, the men do. Hmmm, makes you wonder), wallow in mud about fifty times a day to pray to Mecca. There are similarities.
(I know I am going to take grief for this comment, but these people piss me off.)

I wonder if the muslims have seen this and what they think. Do you think his life will be in jepordy because of it.
