Whitewash Review: Hillary's Scandals Will Re-emerge

Photo of Tim Graham.

James David Dickson of The American Spectator reviewed our book Whitewash on Blogcritics:

"In the general election," counsels Jonah Goldberg, "audiences will remember Whitewater, Travelgate, illegal fundraising, bimbo eruptions and impeachment. If they don't, you can be sure Republicans will remind them. Fair or not, the Republicans' intense dislike of Hillary will underscore the idea that a vote for her is a vote for more of the same rancor."

Whitewash is a great place to start in producing this rancor. As to whether conservative journalists will have any success cajoling their mainstream brethren to join them, that, like Hillary's election next November, is far from inevitable.

Some conservatives have insisted that the Republican nominee can't win merely by offering negatives about Hillary Clinton scandals, even if Dick Morris did call her "The Tornado" for all the trouble she caused. It's not up to the GOP to remind people of Hillary scandals. It's up to the conservative New  Media.

Tim,

I totally agree! It's time to turn up the heat under Shmillary. What makes me lose my lunch everyday is when she speaks of "her experience" and how she'll be ready from "day one" to be president.

What experience? Hmmm - if there was ever a self-incriminatng statement made by her that she ran the White House when her husband/adulterer/fornicator/flim-flam artist Slick Willy was "president", that's speaks volumes as to how power hungry she really is. Ol' Billy Boy is nothing but a stage prop right now and she is using him to get her own foot into the Oval Office.

But let's remember - give someone enough rope and they'll hang themselves. Even her demoncratic opponents are going after the jugular with her flip-flopping on issues. She keeps tap dancing that she is the shoe-in nominee and nothing could be further from the truth.

If that's the case, then I have some prime real estate at the base of Mt. St. Helens I'll sell ya.

I think the Demoncrats are on the outer fringes of imploding and it will be fun to watch it happen.

Well, far be it from us to disappoint.

Can we start by demanding just whose files she recquisitioned from the FBI?

Exactly!!!

Let's start with two very basic question - whose records were acquisitioned from the FBI; and number two, has anyone requested the security tapes from the White House that would show who it was that placed the missing Rose Law Firm billing records on the table. To suggest that those records just "appeared" without any indication of who put them there, in the most secure building in the country, is nothing short of ludicrous.

Disbelief

To believe Hillary's account of the records showing up in the White House requires the willing suspension of disbelief.

I heard that statement last September -- can't remember from whom....

Shout it from the mountain tops!

I couldn't agree with you more, Tim. It is obvious that the MSM will not have the stones to bring to the forefront the Clinton Machine's checkered past. The Clintons have to be the most corrupt political family in modern politics. Even if you don't believe in "THE LIST", you have to realize that breaking the law doesn't bother them in the slightest. Their goal is the White House, laws and foes be damned. If we as bloggers and followers of the conservative media don't shout the truth from the mountaintops, nobody else will, and we'll be damned into Socialism because a large group of ignorant and delusional people decided our future for us.

What Is Truly Incredible About The Clintons?

It's the army of corrupt poitical soldiers they have recruited over the years to facilitate this monstrosity of on-going distortions of history and converups. It's hard for me to imagine good decent people, sitting in a room, strategizing how to insulate her and him from their scandalous activities. To think that the American people, in rather large numbers, have signed on to this crap, is truly disheartening. I'm sure one can say the GOP has their skeletons, and they do.  However, you'll never convince me that George and Laura Bush are anything like these two despicable users. It may be difficult to see it now, but in five years, I believe we will miss what we have. Part of Georges Bush's problem has been his decency as a human being, and his failure to hold people accountable for their mistakes.  Having said that, he's not a liar, he's not a cheat, he's not a philanderer, and most of all, he's not a phoney.

Believe me, not all Democrats like 'em

Especially after pardongate at the end, which was a real thumb in the eye to all "good government" Democrats. Many of them didn't care to know much about either one's sex-life, but they felt betrayed. Try to imagine being a partisan Democrat, and seeing a President you've tried to protect from scandal for 8 years deliberately pardon a wealthy crook whose name is "Mark Rich." I know, from talking to them at the time, it was pretty galling.

The Democrats I know want Obama or one of the other non-Clintons to win the primary. They think, and I agree, that Obama is likely to be a tougher opponent for whichever Republican we choose, because Barak Obama doesn't inspire Republicans to vote like Hillary does. Not many people seem to care that he's black, but just about everyone cares that she's Hillary.

Heard from a liberal friend

When I brought up this possibility to a liberal friend, he dismissed the idea altogether. "People are tired of hearing about that. They'd be annoyed, not affected by the GOP bringing up the scandals." It's interesting that he acknowledged that there were scandals, but it's especially telling that this was the best he could come up with. If the dems have forgotten about all the dishonest scandals she's choreographed, it won't take much for the general electorate to be convinced that they don't want to have a corrupt character-assassination artist as our president.

Just A Reminder

I have two words for the b!tch . . . Vince Foster.

That's good & suspicious, but it can be denied...

How 'bout these 2 words: "Cattle Futures."

The futures markets aren't known for being beginner-friendly, unless you're the governor's wife...And of course, if you're of counsel to Tyson Foods (the state's largest employer) you'd give your lucrative futures advice to the governor's wife solely out of friendship, and not to gain any political influence for your heavily-state-regulated employer! Riiiiight....

Murder Or Suicide - You Decide

One thing that seasoned investigators look at in a murder investigation is who had the: 1) motive, 2) means and 3) opportunity to commit the crime - and also something to gain from the victim's death.  This usually narrows down the list of primary suspects to just a very few.  Draw your own conclusions as it is widely felt that Vince Foster was an honorable man and was about to blow the whistle on the Clintoons.  Check the time line of Shrillary's calls to the WH that night (she was conveniently out of town). Also, a team of safe crackers was brought in the night of his death and his safe looted.  It's said that he had the goods to put Billary away.  The evidence shows no blood on Foster's gun hand and no blowback on the gun itself (there are pictures of this on the 'net), unheard of in a suicide.  Follow these links:

http://members.aol.com/orwell1950/

and decide for yourself if his death was a "suicide" or if somebody evil and scheming with a lot to lose was behind staging his murder (in a most amateur way) to make it look like he killed himself.  (Sorry if the link doesn't work but it's worth the cut and paste if you have to.)

Ron Brown was my frat

Ron Brown was my frat brother and SPE at Middlebury was kicked out of national for voting Ron, and a Jewish brother, into our WASP  chapter. It was 1960!,  and many of the members were white guys from Maine and NE.

Ron came home with us for a Bates football game. It goes without saying that Ma and I had to make sure the family he stayed with were cool with it. Ma said,"Why didn't you tell me he was black?" My reply, "I never occurred to me that would be necessary." As they say, some of my best friends were black or Jewish. That is the way we all felt. They were brothers in every sense.

I think I remember the vote at the house was unanimous. I wonder how many had to vote to send that plane down and where are the papers to prove it?

Hillary scare thought of the day

Compare her career to Teddy Kennedy's.

Using his brother's Presidency as a springboard, he wanted to run for President, but was denied because of scandals.   Instead, he's hung around for decades as an infested thorn in the side of America.  (for example, the original amnesty program that brought us to our current illegal alien crisis was his baby)

You see where I'm going with this...

Using Bill's Presidency as a springboard, Hillary also wants to run for President. If she's denied the Presidency because of scandals (and I think it's likely), she, too, will stick around for decades, doing everything she can to turn America into her Socialist/Marxist dream.

Damned if we do...damned if we don't.

Good Riddance

WHEN, not if, she is defeated (if she even gets the nom) she will not hang around like Teddy Bare.  The senate is only a springboard for her, not a career.  I'm sure she feels it is beneath her but a necessary evil at this point. WHEN she is denied what she is after she will crawl way to lick her wounds.  Hey, she may not even finish out her senate term since it would be of no further use to her.  Just a pleasant thought for a Saturday afternoon . . .

Wish I could believe that, NoMoreClintons...but I don't

First, from a young age, Hillary has been steeped in the goals of Marxism.   She is a missionary, and if she doesn't win the Presidency, she will continue pursuing her Marxist vision.  The best way to do that will be through the Senate, just like Teddy.

Second, she truly enjoys the power and isn't likely to give that up.

Hi RJ... ...and I agree,

Hi RJ...

...and I agree, her next step would be Majority Leader in the Senate...

Spooky spooky spooky....

We will never be rid of her.

This is why we must fight to gain control in the Senate or at least keep it close as possible until the balance is right for us during an election season...we are in big trouble this year.

Hi BT. Yup. The Hildebeast wants control

one way or the other.
