Don Feder doesn't take Ann Coulter seriously "as an evangelist," but "no one can get the left going like Ann." He captures some stunning Coulter-hatred in the media.
The piece de hysteria (believe me, the competition was stiff) was a column by L.A. Times media critic Tim Rutten, who darkly warned that, "The rails leading to Auschwitz were greased by precisely the opinion Coulter expressed on American television this week."
Rutten -- who's saying that evangelizing facilitates genocide -- needs to be kept away from a keyboard, for his own safety.
Amen. Here's a larger chunk of Rutten's rails-of-Auschwitz passage, in which, after tying Coulter thoughts to the Holocaust, he actually concludes that we need more civility (Rutten, heal thyself):
As the [Anti-Defamation] League points out, "supersessionism," the theological notion that Christianity "completes" or "perfects" Judaism is, along with the deicide libel, anti-Semitism's major theological underpinning. Indeed, in Central and Western Europe between the world wars, there was a substantial body of purportedly "respectable" intellectual opinion that held "supersessionism" made possible a "reasonable" theological anti-Semitism that was entirely licit, as opposed to the Nazis' and fascists' illicit, "racially based" anti-Semitism. It is fair to say that the rails leading to Auschwitz were greased by precisely the opinion Coulter expressed on American television this week.
It's a scandal that in this pluralist nation it falls to the voices of organized Jewry to make this case, because it is a case whose outcome is of the greatest consequence to us all. For too long we've pretended that the brutal political rhetoric that now characterizes our partisan politics can be quarantined, that it won't inevitably leach over into every other aspect of our lives. In fact, it's doing just that, and soon the coarse and vituperative language of the war between red and blue -- with it's instantaneous imputations of bad-faith and utter disrespect for minimal civility -- will begin to color aspects of our civil society where mutual respect is too crucial and hard won to tolerate this sort of risk.
PS: Feder also suggested "Generally, Jews were offended by Coulter in reverse relation to their adherence to normative Judaism." While he laments her "insouciance," he added:
Her penchant for provocation aside, do Coulter's critics know that she's an impassioned defender of Israel who challenges anti-Semitism in academia and the anti-war movement? If they did, would they care?
In her 2003 book "Treason," Coulter wrote: "Upon viewing widespread repression, poverty and violence across the Middle East, liberals turned with a vengeance against Israel, the one small outpost of democracy in the entire region. College protestors began demanding that universities divest from Israel. Anti-war protests bled into anti-Israel protests and sometimes into anti-Semitic hooliganism."
It's highly unlikely that your average liberal would be caught dead reading a Coulter book. They'd have to buy the Susan Estrich book mocking her, and slip that dust cover over it.

A real synopsis on "Jews"
October 23, 2007 - 15:51 ET by Lame CherryWhat is most bothersome about all of this is the continued misuse of the terms Jews and Israel as Jews are a mixed bag of beliefs and nationalities and the Judeans were only one of 13 tribes in Israel the nation which was named after Jacob (Israel) when God changed his name to "one who contends with God which is what Isra El means.)
The greater portion of "Jews" are Ashkenaz as a race of people from central Asia. Many use different spellings, but this is who most Jews are at 70% now.
I would suggest people read a simple quote from General Sherman in his memoirs in stating that Jews were always legislated against, because their cartels were so successful at cornering markets. Sherman states that the reason Jews went into the rag business is because they were banned from clothing........and these Jews true to form dominated the rag and I believe it was used feathers (pillow) trades in America.
The Ashkenaz Jews are very industrious, especially in America in dominating fields. They strive through groups, families and education to be monopolies. That is why you hear the terms they control Hollywood as they literally do. That is not anti semite, but a fact of a very adept people no different than Basques being wonderful herds people in America which helped build our ranching industry as much as Chinese labor built our railroads in mass.
What the liberal fails at is the work camps of the Nazi were based upon Darwin and not Christian beliefs. The reason Hitler chose "Jews" was that the European heirachy of Ashkenaz was primarily communist and had declared an open war on Germany to destroy it.
This group led by the Rothschilds were goading Stalin by the ruling communist Jews there into attacking Germany........Hitler got wind of the plan and attacked the Soviet Union first. World Tribune carried several articles on this from a Russian defector who writes of that site.
So as D. James Kennedy pointed out as others have that Darwin is what fueled the Nazi religion along with the old Shabbatai Zvi sect (Kennedy did not provide that link) to attack the communist Jews and a greater portion in the cities of the last of the Judeans, Levites and Benjamites.
This same warfare is going on in Judea today under Olmert in his push to push out Judeans and American Jews from the Middle East leaving only his minority elite of the Ashkenaz majority to rule in a literal communist state in what is termed Israel.
I would not doubt for a moment that when this Ashkenaz elite saw the Coutler book they immediately seized upon it to "herd Jews in terror" again just like they always do away from Christians and to start this mindless rant making this a relgious Christian vs. Jew fight again to cover up what is really going on.
I have stated before the same types in secular versions are in America in Hillary Clinton at the same brutal warfare with liberals against Christian Conservatives........that is what the Conservative American Jews at Gush Katif felt ripped from their homes and the same beating occurred a few weeks ago in the West Bank against settler Jews by Jews who in most cases are Russian immigrant Jews who hate Americans and are quite communist themselves.

If I may make a simplistic analogy... A football team is playing against an opponent whos has almost no secondary (pass defense). The qurterback calls various pass plays in the huddles like "23 blast blue 12" and "Red 14 Shift" that require the reciever's to run various routs (crossing patterns, post routes, hook patterns, etc.) but everytime he throws the ball, the receivers aren't where they should be and the pass is always incomplete. It becomes obvious to the quarterback that none of the recievers know what he is talking about because they do not know the playbook. So, does he resign himself to losing the game? No. Next huddle he points at each receiver and says "you go long", "you go short" and "you stay in and block". Did he "perfect" the playbook?

Regarding Ann Coulter's statement regarding perfection of the Jews, she would have likely been more accurate to refer to the reassumption of Israel (descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(Israel) to the grace and covenant of God through Jesus Christ. This is nothing new and is spoken of at great length throughout the Old Testament and the prophets and continues into the New Testament and being fulfilled in Revelation. "The Old Testament is The New Testament, concealed and The New Testament is The Old Testament revealed".
Now, this does not work for non-believers, deniers of Christ's diety or The Bible. In that case, you will eventually get to discover REAL GLOBAL WARMING, but unlike what the ex-vice dimwit describes.
