The media has been unfair to Sen. Hillary Clinton (D- N.Y.) is the new argument former President Bill Clinton made for his wife to continue on for the Democratic nomination. He's also hitting hard on the issue of seating Florida and Michigan: "I thought it was the Republican Party that disenfranchised voters in Florida, not the Democrats." View CNN video here.
The former president is also sounding conspiratorial these days. According to this ABC News report, he told a crowd in South Dakota he has, "never seen a candidate treated so disrespectfully just for running," and that, "she will win the general election if you nominate her. They're just trying to make sure you don't."

Bill hasn't figured it out yet!
May 26, 2008 - 13:12 ET by pbthinkerPerhaps, Mr. Clinton, the press figured out how you and Hillary, took them for a ride, during the Lewinsky Scandal, and it's payback time. You know, the old "fool me once....."

May 27, 2008 - 01:41 ET by danybhoypbthinker,
Jim Quinn (of Quinn & Rose) wondered if the MSM would throw the Clintons overboard if they could get to the same place if a different, more user friendly politician came along. They covered for the Clintons, & the Clintons never really treated them too well. The MSM see Obama, & have bought his crap, & have appeared to have do exactly that. Be carefull on the way up, because the way down might be bumpy.
Nice call Jim, you hit the nail RIGHT on the head. Oh, & LET'S GO PENS!

May 26, 2008 - 13:31 ET by Wilbur747I think Bill is panicking (whining) because of narcissism. For years they both thought they were 'THE Democratic Party'. "Everybody loves us", "Hillary and I can do it again."
Now it seems that they're not as popular as they once thought, especially with the MSM, since she isn't as left as they'd like.
Could be the way they treated staffers, friends and others during and after his (their) administration and their flipping to Obama's camp that caused their political demise?
Wah! Wah! Wah!
May 26, 2008 - 17:45 ET by goldenthroatWibur77,
You are absolutely right on - Slick Willy and Shmillary have once again established that they are legends in their own minds. They've been living in a fantasy land that they were the darlings of the MSM and thought the Demoncratic nomination was a given. Now they're fighting for their pathetic political lives.
Never in their wildest dreams did they think someone with a middle eastern name would be kicking their butts right now. Slick Willy is definitely a has-been and Shmillary continues to suffer from a severe case of hoof-in-mouth disease which is sinking her campaign faster than the Titanic.
Gosh, don't they make a lovely couple? The question is: A couple of what?

May 26, 2008 - 13:50 ET by bigtimerEarth to Bill, it's your turn in the barrel, what goes around comes around...the msm aided and abetted you two for years, well they have their new messiah and you both are so old news....
How does it feel Bill...you know that statement you on the left have used for years when it favors your side of the aisle as usual... there is no bias in the msm...how do you feel about that now Come Back Kid?
You might want to have a conversation with Keith...heheheee..yep, no bias here is there?

May 26, 2008 - 14:15 ET by Dr. RonFor 17 years, the MSM covered for them, lied for them and spun for them. Speaking of "every vote counting" and FL disenfranchisement of voters by Republicans...it was Gore and the ACLU lawyers who tried and often succeeded (2000) in getting military personnel absentee votes not counted/tossed (felon votes of course should be counted); it was Dan Rather (Mr. bogus USAF memo) telling FL Panhandle voters, while polls were still open due to FL having 2 time zones, that FL was decided.
The MSM still gives Hillary a pass about her lies (her "experience" is one example)...so, what is Bill's problem? No super-special preferential tratment this time around? About time!
As Bill's personality
May 26, 2008 - 14:19 ET by celatorAs Bill's personality continues to disintegrate, we are observing his increasing paranoia, the "they are all out to get us" view of the world we hear him describe often these days. It will get worse as time goes on.
Bill is right about one
May 26, 2008 - 14:30 ET by motherbeltBill is right about one thing: they (DNC, not the media) are trying to get her to "cry Uncle" so they don't have to make a decision about Florida and Michigan.

Again, Only Half The Story From Bill
May 26, 2008 - 19:12 ET by geoff.galeBill is absolutely correct in his assessment of the msm and his lil' darlin'. They've turned on her like an angry mother bear protecting her cubs and man, she's feeling the pain. But typical of Bill Clinton, he only gave us half the story. He neglected to mention the same, equally obvious bias the msm have for anyone on the right. He could have done some good for once in his life by telling the whole story and getting the word about msm bias out in the open to a wider audience. But he's Bubba and so he didn't.
I predict that in fifteen years Bill Clinton's going to be a looney as Jimmy Carter. Except he won't be chasing Hamas, he'll be chasing skirts.
Wait, make that ten years.

What goes around, comes around
May 26, 2008 - 22:49 ET by wdhorningThe Clinton's are "getting a taste of their own medicine." The liberal, biased press during the Clinton presidency made sure it covered up for him, protected him, and always put bad news in the best light.
Now that the liberal press likes Obama better, it plays the same game with him, and so now the Clinton's are finding out just how wrong it is to have a biased press, as it covers up, protects and puts in the best light bad news, all in Obama's favor.
But in some ways the Clinton arrogance deserves what the arrogant, liberal press dishes out.
The sad part is that a Hillary Clinton presidcncy would be the "lessor of two evils" among these two Democrat candidates, not that John McCain is a whole lot better candidate that these two Democrats either.
