Even View Crew Mocks Obama's Nuke Deal: 'Tipping Off' Iran?

If you're a liberal president and you've lost the women of The View, that's a bad sign. Co-hosts Rosie Perez, Nicolle Wallace and Michelle Collins alternatively mocked and questioned Barack Obama's deal with Iran over a nuclear program. Regarding inspections of nuclear sites, Perez derided, "...They say that we have 24/7 access to Iran and inspections. But they have to tip them off first. Okay? Tipping them off is like 'oh, the police are coming, hide the drugs!'"

Making her own comparison, Wallace dismissed Obama's deal: "Now, if you have been to summer camp, the only way to keep the boys out of the girls bunk bed is if there is random inspections of the bunk. Not, 'I'm coming in at night!' And that's what we've got."

New co-host Collins related that her mother is from Israel. She attacked the proposal: "Now you're giving them hundreds of billions of dollars. If you think their building schools with this money, you're wrong. This goes towards weapons and murder. I don't know why you would do that."

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg expressed ambivalence, saying, "If not this [deal], what?"  Raven-Symone didn't seem to follow the details of the nuke deal.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: And in other historic news, six nations led by the U.S. just made a comprehensive, long-term deal with Iran and they say it's going to prevent them from obtaining a nuclear weapon and do all kinds of stuff. And, you know, a lot of conversation about this. Is it a good thing? Is it a bad thing? What do you think?.

ROSIE PEREZ: Well, you know, I think we live in a very, very interesting and dangerous and difficult times and sometimes you have to make your enemies your frenemies. So I understand the necessity for this deal. I have one issue with it.

GOLDBERG: What's your issue, baby?

PEREZ: The issue is that they are going – they say that we have 24/7 access to Iran and inspections. But they have to tip them off first. Okay? Tipping them off is like "oh, the police are coming, hide the drugs?" You know?

...

NICOLLE WALLACE: This is the exact debate that Congress is going to have but not nearly this succinct. They're going to have a 60 day debate about all three things that you said.. Aren't innocent lives at stake in the region? Absolutely. A nuclear arms race will start if this is passed. Everyone in Congress is concerned about exactly what you said. Now, if you have been to summer camp, the only way to keep the boys out of the girls bunk bed is if there is random inspections of the bunk. Not, "I'm coming in at night!" And that's what we've got. And you are precisely right –

MICHELLE COLLINS: My mother is from Israel. My entire extended family lives in Jerusalem. This is a topic that's very personal to me because my family could be blown away.

WALLACE: And that is Iran's intent. They said it this morning.

COLLINS:  I agree. My poor mother is, like, forwarding me articles, you know, Iran is a country they want to get rid of Israel. They deny the Holocaust.

WALLACE: They won't even say the word Israel.

COLLINS: They won't even say the word Israel. And now you're giving them hundreds of billions of dollars. If you think their building schools with this money, you're wrong. This goes towards weapons and murder. I don't know why you would do that. I don't know why our free, beautiful country would do that.
