The man who trained Navy S.E.A.L Chris Kyle appeared on Fox Business, Monday, to slam liberal filmmaker Michael Moore for his repeated attacks on the movie American Sniper and its subject, Chris Kyle. Brandon Webb struck back at Moore: "To see Michael Moore make those comments, I just think it is very shallow of him and shows how he's not looking at this through the objective lens."
Webb called the celebrity's comments "mean-spirited" and pointed out: "Chris's kids are going to grow up one day and read that stuff on the internet and it's just shameful." Webb appeared on Kennedy, the debut program of Lisa "Kennedy" Montgomery. (The libertarian is best known for being a '90s MTV VJ and a co-host of the now-cancelled FBN show The Independents.)
Montgomery mocked Moore as a "notable Team America character." She read this tweet by the director: "Tomorrow's Sunday School. What Would Jesus Do? Oh, I know what he'd do -- hide on top of a roof and shoot people in the back!"
She condescendingly dismissed Moore, "Wow, Michael. Why are you so angry at yourself?"
A partial transcript of the January 26 segment is below:

LISA KENNEDY MONTGOMERY: Meanwhile, another anti-war advocate and notable Team America character Michael Moore tweeted, "Tomorrow's Sunday school. One, what would Jesus do? Oh, I know what he would do. . Hide on a roof and shoot people in the back." Wow. Michael, you are so angry at yourself? Brandon Webb joins us. He's a former U.S. Navy S.E.A.L who trained Chris Kyle. Brandon, welcome to the show.
BRANDON WEBB: Thanks for having me.
MONTGOMERY: So, tell me about Chris Kyle. What was hit motivation for becoming a sniper?
WEBB: You know, a lot of guys in the S.E.A.L community get selected to be a sniper because of their marksmanship skills. So, I was at S.E.A.L Team Three with Chris and we were both in that category. We got asked to go try out for the school. It's one of the top sniper programs in the U.S. military, if not the world military.
KENNEDY: Is it something you are born with? That skill?
WEBB; I think some guys gravitate to it, but, you know, Chris, I had an opportunity to go see the 9/11 memorial museum the other day and seeing those photos and the families and the pictures and going to that moment of 9/11, Chris, myself and all our friends, like, we went to Afghanistan to wrote a blank check. Like, we left families at home and that's what we did. And to see Michael Moore make those comments, I just think it is very shallow of him and shows how he's not looking at this through the objective lens. Like he is being mean-spirited, making those comments and, you know what? Chris's kids are going to grow up one day and read that stuff on the internet and it's just shameful.

[On Moore calling snipers "cowards."]
WEBB: The coward statement, 9/11 happening and volunteering to go overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan and defend this country and put your life on the line is far from being cowardly, in my opinion.
