The Oil Prices That Stole Christmas

On Tuesday, "Good Morning America" reporter Bianna Golodryga hyperventilated about high gas prices and highlighted a man who alleged that the cost of fuel is keeping him from going to church and that it could ruin Christmas. Golodryga piled on, suggesting that some Americans would be forced to eat "cheaper foods" such as pasta and peanut butter instead of fruits and vegetables.

The Media's Favorite Billionaire

Only a few days later, Golodryga, who covers business and economic issues for GMA, proved her journalistic independence by gushing over liberal billionaire Warren Buffet, or "Robin Hood," as she called him. While Golodryga lobbied for holding on to the death tax (or, as she called it, the estate tax), co-host Diane Sawyer rhapsodized over how Buffet is battling "on behalf of fairness in taxes." (The leftist billionaire has claimed recently that he pays less taxes, percentage-wise, than his receptionist.)

Seriously, She's Gonna Win it All

Over on CBS, "Early Show" reporter Jim Axelrod fawned over Hillary Clinton's debate "landslide" and enthused that she looked "confident" and took the "attacks in stride." In a bit of excited liberal prognostication, he cheered, "The story line now goes back to Hillary the sure-footed front-runner, where it will stay." Perhaps realizing that he had got a bit too far, even for a Clinton-loving journalist, he quickly added, "At least for now."

Anti is Bad, Right?

Many conservatives are skeptical or hostile towards some of 2008 GOP contender Ron Paul's stances on foreign policy, but they may like his small government mentality. Not "Face the Nation" host Bob Schieffer, however. He derided Paul for being "anti-abortion," "anti-drug administration," "anti-Medicare," "anti-income tax," "anti-United Nations," to name just a few. Apparently, believing in limited government means anti-government.

Great Christmas Present

Looking for the perfect Christmas present to turn around your liberal brother-in-law? Be sure and check out "Whitewash," the new book from the MRC's Brent Bozell and Tim Graham. It thoroughly exposes the liberal media's fawning coverage of Hillary Clinton and reveals everything you need to know about the 2008 candidate.

funny that he would

funny that he would criticize Paul for being "anti-abortion", when Ron paul the last 3 years has received NARAL ratings of:

2006: 65%

2005: 75%

2004: 65%

McCain, brownback, Hunter and Tancredo all have 0% ratings from NARAL each year. Paul isn't real pro-life in any real world sense, he's just anti-govt which is why he has so much anarchist and Neo-Nazi support.

If Warren Buffet pays too little taxes...

here's what should be done. Take 90% of his wealth away from him. He'd still be a rich man but I wonder if he'd still be complaining that he pays too little taxes. If he does, take the rest away.
