Making Bias Official: Newspaper Guild Applauds Obama Gay Marriage Views
If you doubted where many journalists stand on gay marriage, don’t. The Newspaper Guild, which is part of the Communications Workers of America (CWA), joined with other unions, such as the AFL-CIO, in expressing its support for Obama on homosexual marriage. President Larry Cohen of the CWA stated:
"The Communications Workers of America stands with the President and those who support equality and human rights.”
President Cohen also ended his statement by saying “It’s time to move forward.” “Forward” also is the term used as the Obama Campaign’s new slogan.
This echoes what the New York Time’s Mark Halperin previously stated, “[T]he media is as divided on this issue as the Obama family. Which is to say not at all. And so he's never going to get negative coverage for this."
This isn’t the first time the Newspaper Guild has revealed its ideological leaning. The Guild has previously posted anti-Republican cartoons on their website, and supported the Occupy movement’s “Day of Mass Action.”
It also jibes with CMI’s extensive documentation of pro-gay marriage propaganda on the part of the media. When Washington, D.C. legalized same-sex marriage in 2010, the Washington Post’s coverage was embarrassingly celebratory, and its religion blog has declared biblical morality “illegitimate” on gay marriage. The network morning shows have regularly been platforms for gay marriage advocates. And entertainment media have been pushing the gay agenda with characters and story lines for decades.
So the Newspaper Guild is just putting the official stamp on obvious long-time bias.

Both are involved in organized villainy, but at least the GCI admits it. Heck, it's part of their slogan.

How Low Can You Go?
Obama has done it. He has trashed the Presidency. Step aside Nixon and Clinton. You have met your match. Obama did something yesterday that cast excrement on the seal of the US Presidency.
We now have a president that has told America that marriage is what you say it is. Sodomites can, he says, get married.
Yes, Jack Kennedy had a thousand mistresses and he even loaned one or more of them out to others, but this beats all.
We now see that in this presidency we are up against evil itself.
Obama is pro-choice. The only thing that was left for him to do in order to lower the bar to where it cannot go further down was to come out in defense of the weird and the indefensible. He has not disappointed his enemies who saw this coming or that gaggle of claques in the Congressional Progressive Caucus that in keeping with the media applaud his every move.
Who is this man of slender intellect that after growing up outside of America can come here and tell the sons of Catholics Jews Muslims and Puritans that he has the right to re-define marriage, even if that definition flies in the face of everything Americans have ever believed?
Mr. Obama is a Democrat. He is a member of the one political party that more than their rival Republicans nominates presidents that famously cheat on the wives. But even they—the LBJ’s FDR’s Woodrow Wilsons and Clintons-- have never aroused so much disgust as this one slippery little man-- this Philistine purveyor of the ludicrous and the irrational.
Science and religion cannot help us here. The President has gone over the edge. Not since Mary Todd Lincoln held séances in the White House has America had to deal with irrationality on such a level.
What was America doing when college professors were seducing young minds all across the country so that they would turn out in droves to vote for this priest of Baal who adds to his Socialism same sex marriage.
What is the Black Jewish and Hispanic community thinking? They say they will return Obama to the White House this November. Have they gone mad like the President?
