Lowry: thy name is hypocrite.

Not to mention his obvious predjudice towards armed citizens.  "...armed to the teeth.", indeed. So from his own words, may I assume that the only reason he calls for civility, and tries to remain civil, is his fear of armed citizens?

Besides, I never really considered Variety mainstream. More like a little tributary.

THE  Root Cause of the  “lack of humor and civility in political discourse” and the  treating of  “conservatives as something somehow inhuman” is the Responsibility of the MSM and their inability to report the TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH. 

  Examples abound, from the Scooter Libby reporting, to the Alberto Gonzales kangaroo hearings, and ALL the LIES from MSM reporting surround the Kagaroo hearings.    Scooter did not “Out” any CIA agents, Scooter did not get “Pardoned”, Alberto Gonzales did nothing Wrong.  

Other False reports from Abu Ghrabu to BUSH LIED, and now the latest retraction of the NY Headlines on the supposed Video Gate non-issue.  

People that know or find out the Truth are ANGERED at the MSM and those who believe the non Truths.  People who believe the Lies are ANGRY at the offending parties and those that do not Support the lying propaganda from MSM.   

A little TRUTH in reporting would go a long ways towards DEMS and Republicans getting “Civil” in political discourse, because you would not be putting people on Trial for 3 months expounding MORE LIES and giving the MSM More opportunity to re-enforce existing LIES.      

This TRUTH in publishing would still leave plenty to disagree about between political opponents, but you would remove the injustices that crank up the Anger quotients. 

Then there is the Extreme Emotional Anger in the Political division of “Support the Troops”…….families with loved ones in Battle have little patience with non-supporters, and emotions can go off the Scales with between the Supporters and the Activists who have nothing at RISK. 

Take out the Iraq War, and the Political War downsizes significantly.

I don't feel it's necessary to dignify Lowry's slimy accusations with an answer. He knows very well that the vast majority of Christians respect Jews; it's a part of our belief system. Those that don't tend to wear white pointy hoods, and are NOT Christians. He says things like that just so he can be introduced as "The 'controversial' Brian Lowry."

I wish more journalists would rather be known as "ethical" and "truthful."

That is the issue articulated perfectly.  FACTS and WHOLE TRUTHS ARE RARELY DISSEMINATED TO THE PUBLIC.  MOST OF THE MEMBERS OF THE MSM ARE COWARDS.  REAL JOURALISM TAKES COURAGE, INTEGRITY AND SENSE OF DUTY. 

Unfortunately, the common "sense of duty" in the MSM is fighting against the United States of America, and almost no one has a shred of integrity.  I don't really understand why.  Don't these people understand that No More America = No More American Journalists?

The impunity with which these "enlightened" attack Christians, for so much as wishing people Merry Christmas, seems to fail when most recently, a member of the Islamic community in Canada beat his 16 year old daughter to death for being "improperly dressed". It seems she preferred Western dress to a hijab. She was a beautiful child, one would say "liberated" who preferred "choice" to something put upon her by her birth.

The generation that begat burn-your-braism, free-love, and "tolerance" are merely cowards. Were they anything more this girl would've been hailed as a martyr to their causes. She died in vain, as do all people who follow the cowardly.

Mr. Lowry is merely chief amongst the most yellow of "journalists".
