Pro-military Support Outnumbers Protesters in Liberal Berkeley, Media Ignore Story

The mainstream media (ABC, NBC, CBS, New York Times, CNN, etc) have made their opposition to the US campaign against Islamic terror, particularly the current Iraq campaign a centerpiece of their coverage almost since the beginning. Current headline stories include complaints that not enough bodies are available to graveyards and complaints that not enough US soldiers are killing their commanders, a practice known as 'fragging'. Further examples of the media's partisanship include their constant hero-worship of people like Cindy Sheehan and their ignoring of other soldiers' parents who still support the campaign and the President. Today, a group of Code Pink protestors assembled in front of Berkeley's Marine recruiting office to protest, but unfortuantely for them, they were far outnumbered by pro-military supporters, who gathered across Shattuck Avenue. As the Contra Costa Times reported:

Protests in Berkeley are nothing new. A protest of a protest is unique -- even in Berkeley. On one side of the street was CodePINK, Grandmothers Against the War, Berkeley East Bay Gray Panthers, Women in Black and other peace groups holding "no war" signs and chanting "out of Iraq." On the other were military veterans, mothers and fathers of soldiers, members of the UC Berkeley College Republicans and Melanie Morgan, whose conservative talk show airs on KSFO. They waved American flags and chanted "USA, USA, USA."

To their credit, the Contra Costa Times led its story with the report that the pro-military group vastly outnumbered the anti-American Code Pink. However, I have yet to see a single mainstream media organization pick the story up other than the Drudge Report. I won't hold my breath- reporting this story would force media organizations to acknowledge that their constant protrayal of Iraq and the war against Islamic terror as hugely unpopular is not as representative of the truth as they would like. This is just great news. It's now a trend:

The Marines pushed Al Queda out of Anbar province.
The rest of the military is pushing them out of Iraq.
Rush Limbaugh crushed Harry Reid with his Million-Dollar letter auction.
The 70-year olds are shooting the bad guys dead.
And now we are taking over Beserkly.

This last action is going to be the toughest yet, but I think we will prevail over the forces of evil.

Now, it's time to take aim at the Dim candidates, starting with Hillarity.

The GatheringofEagles outnumbered the Anti-war people by 20,000 on 3/17, the date of the "March on the Pentagon"..and it was NOT REPORTED. ..except by Michele Malkin... We sent 15,000 flags gathered for that evet to the Troops in Iraq..

Interesting.

Yesterday, we had the usual band of black t-shirt wearing protestors led by a guy dressed as a middle ages monk at our main gate holding up signs saying "No Torture". They were here in reaction to the fact that their previous leaders had been sentanced for trespassing on Fort Huachuca last November as part of a protest about alleged torture being taught on the post will spend five months in federal prison.

Obviously none of them were from the Fort Huachuca area, and most were old enough to be "giving that last hurrah" as a kick-back to their youth in the 60's

Amazing. They just naturally assume that we in the military teach people how to torture. Nothing to base that on-mind you. THEY JUST KNOW IT.....

Shows how much they think of their countries military.

The best part was that people driving by mostly just ignored them as the nuisance that they are. I predict these idiots will start the civil disobediance nonsense soon to step it up a notch and really relive their childhoods.
