The executives acceded to making MSNBC the "Republicans-Are-Nazis" network, and now they are trapped.  Almost all of the MSM is in the tank for Obama, but Olbermann is the one who openly says the Republican Party is at least as big a threat as Al-Qaeda.

I heard that feeling on Matthews leg turned out to be dribble, the aftermath of one of those times he gets so upset his face is red, he sputters, and he, uh, loses control of himself. If he has felt "that feeling" recently I hope the trigger was a look in the mirror. That this guy could be upset with Odorman if beyond belief.

Think about this: We have Matthews ranting and raving about Obama to the point of sounding like a fainting heroine in a cheesy romance novel when he's not shouting down any opposition, we have Olbermann going nuclear about Bush and Cheney when he's not obsessing on O'Reilly, we have Dobbs screeching his phony populism nightly, and we have O'Reilly, who has inflated his anchorman job into a self-deluded position of "Protector of the Folks" - the know-it-all blowhard. I think Olbermann has always been nuts, but what's making the rest of them turn into such vainglorious whack jobs? It's cable news for Pete's sake!

google up the nelson ratings and Queef never gets over 500,000. on any night. unless he has a meltdown. when he had on scott "the woos" mccellan his numbers were at 1 million. that was the only time he ever broke a million. MSNBS is a lost news source. chrissy is just as bad. Queef, Chrissy and Danny all slobber when they speak, its gross.....

Watching Olberman and Matthews about the historic moment of Obama simply being nominated is amazing. Matthew invoked some of Bishop Tutu's comments on this country. Tutu said when he first came to this country in 1972 he couldn't understand why the blacks were angry at their condition here. Matthews skipped around a lot but basically said Tutu came to understand...as he came to know our country better! Matthews understood that completely. His climatic point was that with the selection of Obama all that hatred, anger, and disappointment that blacks have toward this country can at last be a forgotten remnent of our racist past. I could spend an hour talking about what this great country has done not only for the descendants of slaves but the present-day progeny of countless thousands of African immigrants, including many fleeing Tutu's neck of the proverty- stricken bush! Not only does Tutu's new found attitude display ignorance and idiocy, but the idea that suddenly, magically Obama's nomination shall set us free angers me beyond description.

There is nothing more damaging to Tim Russert’s career and creditability than being grouped with Keith and Chris. Believe me, this is better than viewers not watching. The man has got to be in pain. Is this a great country or what?

Keith Olbermann is entirely entitled to his opinions. And, being an eternal liberal, I obviously agree with many of his opinions.

That being said. He is **not** a journalist!! He has no business anchoring news coverage such as election returns and primary results. If MSNBC wants to give him his own show to share his opinions, they are within their right to do that. But I've watched him anchoring these primary results and he inevitably slides some comment in that makes his political views abundantly clear. He doesn't even try to hide it or apologize for it...He just does it. And that irritates the hell out of me because THAT IS NOT WHAT THE PEOPLE REPORTING NEWS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO!! Ugh...My journalism professor undoubtedly spins in her grave when he anchors news events.

MSNBC, give him an 8 hour show every day if you want...If you think it will boost your ratings. People will watch it...I would probably watch it. But don't put him in a position to deliver news...You should never ever be able to guess the political leanings of a person delivering the news. And it cheapens your network when you do it!

Sounds to me like the Peacock Network is preparing to fire or force-out Olbermann.  Then all of the other NBC/MSNBC lefties can say, “See.  We got rid of the problem.  No more bias.”

They just gotta wait till Oralman has his mental breakdown then they can go back to loving Obama secretly (Well not Matthews)

Isn't it bad enough that Russert, Matthews and Williams are left?  Olberman is unnecessarily offensive.  ALL my televions in every single room have all NBC channels blocked.  I am not kidding.  When determining what kind of fridge to buy, GE was excluded from consideration.  They want to play their game all I can do is in my limited way play mine.

Not a bad strategy, actually.

Look at Nickelodeon - they have hung their entire schedule on Spongebob, and they're doing quite well, thank you.
