NBC, AP Avoid 'M-word' in Report About 'Honor Killings'

It is the religion that dare not speak its name...at least on NBC News and at the Associated Press among other politically correct circles. Both media outlets reported on a verdict in an "honor killings" case in Canada while managing to avoid mentioning a certain religion whose name starts with "M." To watch or read both reports, you would think that "honor killings" was some sort of bizarre ritual limited to the family in question or perhaps a few other members of an unidentified "patriarchal culture."
First the AP report on the MSNBC site which does mention a religion but not the one you think:
KINGSTON, Ontario — A jury on Sunday found an Afghan father, his wife and their son guilty of killing three teenage sisters and a co-wife in what the judge described as "cold-blooded, shameful murders" resulting from a "twisted concept of honor."
The jury took 15 hours to find Mohammad Shafia, 58; his wife Tooba Yahya, 42; and their son Hamed, 21, each guilty of four counts of first-degree murder in a case that shocked and riveted Canadians from coast to coast. First-degree murder carries an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years.
A religion is finally mentioned in the report but only the one in which is politically correct to do so:
The prosecution said her parents found condoms in Sahar's room as well as photos of her wearing short skirts and hugging her Christian boyfriend, a relationship she had kept secret...
The NBC News broadcast of this case also managed to avoid mentioning the taboo M-word as you can see in this video:

Culture clash? And what culture would that be? Brian Williams leaves us in the dark as does reporter Kevin Tibbles.
KEVIN TIBBLES: Three teenage sisters murdered because of how they wanted to live their lives. Dress like westerners, use the internet, meet boys. Also killed, their father's first wife, by a strict religious family that felt it had been disgraced.
A "strict religious family" yet Tibbles bizarrely neglects to mention that religion. How much does anybody want to bet that if there were such a thing as Baptist honor killings that "Baptist" would be prominently mentioned in every NBC News or AP story about such a crime?

The NBC news reports concludes that 1st degree murder in Canada is an automatic life sentence. It ends there. The AP report says the same thing but adds "no chance of parole for 25 years".
Not as meaningful as the media's disregard for the fact that honor killings are a Muslim tragedy, but leave it to NBC to leave out the chance for parole in 25 years.

Well, they were from Afganistan, and the guy's first name is Mohammed (gee, these guys are really original with their names, huh?), and they were 'very religious', and 'honor killings' are typical of this particular religion, and the daughter had a CHRISTIAN boyfriend...............so I can only figure that they were probably - CHRISTIANS???? In the 'what religions CAN be called out and disrespected' news..here we have 'evil, oppressive' Catholic school-girls being pelted with condoms from Occutard pigs on their way home from school. Now I don't know who was in that crowd there, as far as civilians, but I would not have been able to 'turn the other cheek' when it comes to young girls being assaulted. In all seriousness, what the hell kind of 'religion' would encourage, sanctify, and justify this type of thing?? I've been saying for a long time that the DNA of moooooooooooooolsems - and especially those in the near east (as opposed to some other Islamic places that were overtaken, or conquered by, the 'religion of peace' - is completely out of whack and screwed up. They had centuries of tribal warfare, hate, incest, and a closed mindset allready - BEFORE Moooooooooohamed showed up and gave them ever more perverted, sick, and unnatural ideas, lifestyles, and ways to conduct their lives.

The CBC (Canada's version of NPR) up here is trying to portray the killing as a violent act against all women. This really isn't culturally motivated at all. We're all susceptible to this kind of violence. We all kill women if they dishonour us. It's a Canadian thing, you see. It has nothing to do with the Muslim culture specifically.
I guess it doesn't matter if your American or Canadian. Lefties all speak the same language, and use the same rule book. Liberals lie, no matter where they are.
