'Yay for Gay' iPad Kids Book 'Teaches Open-mindedness'

By Paul Wilson | July 15, 2011 | 13:30

A  A

A new iPad children's book featuring gender-shifting parents, "Pop It," is the latest attempt by activists to "educate" children about homosexuality and transgender behaviors.

Artist Raghava KK, featured by CNN.com in 2010 as one of the "top ten people you've never heard of," created an iPad program for toddlers, "Pop It," to teach tolerance and "open-mindedness." The program, innocently enough, shows a child interacting with two parents.

However, shaking the iPad transforms the parents from male homosexuals to heterosexuals to lesbians.

The artist's intentions are clear. In an interview with Mashable, Raghava KK argued: "The relationship between parent and child does not change if they have two moms, two dads. I'm challenging the concept of family."

In a video promoting his book, artist Raghava KK reiterated his purpose: 'There is no such thing as the ideal family. I want children to learn there are many types of families.'

This indoctrination of children is one of the latest of a series of attempts to push homosexuality and transgender issues to children. California passed a 'gay history' bill on July 14, requiring public schools to teach students about gay figures in history. Another California school brought transgender clownfish into school to teach children that gender bending is okay during a two day "Gender Spectrum Diversity Training" session.

The media encourages this homosexual and gender-shifting behavior. A video featured on CBSnews.com approvingly highlighted a video of a boy "understanding" same-sex marriage in less than a minute. Pieces favorably profiling transgender prom queens and a 'Princess Boy' also appeared on the networks within the past year.

The message that gender and sexual orientation don't matter is being broadcast to children at full volume. As Raghava KK stated in his promotional video: "Children's books are full of propaganda."

He and the media just want to make sure it's liberal propaganda.

Can't wait for the day

Submitted by Tugboat Phil on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 2:07pm.

When an absolute genetic trait is found that "causes" homosexuality. I'd like to see the reaction of liberals torn between pushing the gay agenda and wanting to stop abortion on demand because of couples not wanting a gay child and aborting because of it.

President Obama is a Muslim (from his own lips), Kenyan (read it from his publicist) a homosexual (read it on a news magazine cover) and a Socialist (I'm alive and can see it for myself)

But they will just force mandatory testing, and then the "blobs of cells" found to be homosexual and non-reproductive would receive special protection from abortion. You know, because homosexuality has been proven to be so healthy and good for societies through history!

Perhaps the "Hannible Lecters" should be protected also because they were born that way. Since we are all animals, and animals kill and eat many other animals, we certainly should not think that eating other people is not healthy. Let's have that taught and "understood" in school too. You don't want to be closed minded ya know! That will keep everyone in a healthy alert state. Don't libs love natural selection?

How about simply teaching kids this...

That everyone should be judged as an individual, ie. by the content of their character. There are jerks, gems and everything in-between in every group. As a gay person myself, I do not ask to be tolerated, accepted or treated in any other way than anyone else would be treated. I try to be a person of integrity and honor, and I like to think that most people will judge me as such once they get to know me. My sexuality does not define who I am any more than the color of my eyes.

Unfortunately the xeS aspect is being drug out into the class room & actively promoted to minors as a great thing when it directly contradicts the founding morals of our country. Then, the PC bullies show zero respect for this view, get people fired, and hatefully and wrongly smear people as hateful & backwards. They are not accepting or treating them "in any other way than anyone else would be treated." Regards & take care.

We've know the true agenda wasn't tolerance, or even acceptance, of homosexuality. The true agenda has been the promotion of homosexuality. "Challenging the concept of family"? No, they want to re-write the definition of family. I'm very afraid that I will live to see the day that pedophilia is legalized. It's not that far from where we are now.

The gay agenda is nonsense. Like, "..there is no ideal family.." Yes, why should we abide by the wisdom and experience of countless generation of human-kind, by those things that have shown to be most effective as social foundations, those things that have kept us top survivors, those things that make sense? So much better to let it be torn down and replaced by the whims and desires of petty tyrants who MUST be so much smarter and just better-over-all people than anyone else who has ever lived.

Meanwhile...

Submitted by Dr. T on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 2:28pm.

Meanwhile, children and teenagers in this country can not tell you what two multiplied by three equals. Nor do they know the difference between "they're", "their" and "there" or "your" and "you're." But they can tell you the difference between transgendered and transsexual. This is what passes for "education?" I'd like them to explain exactly how this prepares children for the real world. I'd like to see them at a job interview explaining what skills they bring.

I guess on the bright side, all those kids being home-schooled, the ones not wasting their time on this garbage, will be running the world in a few years.

Soon, 'home schooling' will be the only thing trustworthy

Submitted by Slyrr on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 3:13pm.

There was a time before when the state controlled education. Governments controlled what was taught, where it was taught, who the teacher were, and who was and was not allowed to learn. People trying to educate themselves at home were brutalized by state-sponsored mobs, who feared an educated public. Blacks were similarly brutalized during the time of slavery, in an attempt to keep them ignorant so they would be more tractable to their lot in life.

And it looks like we're headed that way again, alas. Education is no longer a 'free marketplace of ideas'. It has been taken over by liberals and socialists, who are eager to 'get hold' of the youth and indoctrinate them, groom them and raise them to be good little liberals and socialists.

Look up Walt Disney's old cartoon which profiles how Nazi germany gets hold of the young. Corny, and yet every day it looks more and more like a prophecy that Walt was making about today's liberal democrats.

If a Liberal/Democrat politician/media figure wants to put their arms around you, or pat you on the back, all they're doing is looking for a good place to stick a knife.

To be fair everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, some have math and some have English as their strength and some have other skills.  My wife is deficit in her math but her pattern recognition skills, read proof reading, are superior.  I tend to gloss over the details and am pretty good in math.  And this is to bring out we all have different strengths.

We should go back to levels of instruction in school where some kids move into the harder classes and some are shop types.  Somewhere along the line we moved out of that.

Education

Submitted by Radical1979 on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 4:39pm.

I have two children, one is very academic, the other not, but is very hard working. I'm tired of the everyone should have access to a college education mantra (particularly with what they are teaching in colleges!)

Elementary schools should stick with the basics, and stop indoctrinating the kids. No wonder we're falling behind globally.

Yeah college is oversold, heck I even try to sell it to kids I meet. I have three kids and they all took different paths. My oldest went two years of college and decided it was not for her, my middle went to college and got a degree and now she is having trouble finding a job and my youngest decided no college right now is on track to make 500K this year at 19. So college is not the be all but it is good to have the piece of paper that says you finished. Life is what you make of it.

'Healthy Social Development'

Submitted by Slyrr on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 3:28pm.

Liberals love to sneer and guffaw at people who home-school their kids. They mock them and attack them, saying that their kids will grow up 'socially backward', and that they won't have the 'social skills' and 'emotional well being' and 'responsible development' of their public-school peers, who were groomed for greatness and glory in the cosseted bosom of government-run schools.

I ask, what's 'enlightened' about public schools today? Most of them are crumbling cesspools of violence, intolerance, ignorance, failure and corruption. I add the caveat, this depends on where you live. If it's a conservative run state, you're better off. If your state is run by liberals, then you're in trouble.

What is this wonderful 'social development' that liberals think is doled out at public schools, and which is so valuable to children?

Is it getting bullied and beaten up by ethnic gangs? Having guns and knives pulled on you? Seeing underage kids having sex in restrooms, or having affairs with their media-attention crazed teachers? Is that what liberals think is 'healthy development'? Is it the out of date textbooks, unqualified instructors and the squandered tax money that liberal think kids need to be exposed to in order to become 'enlightened'? Is it seeing a system where there are 10 corrupt superintendents for every one teacher? Do liberals think our kids need to be taught how to cheat by crooked principals who rig their test scores in order to get more government money? Is that the 'real world experience' that liberals think public education engenders? Are liberals scared that if kids don't start seeing smoking, drug addiction, alcohol and substance abuse among students and teachers at a really young age that they'll never make it in life? Are liberals scared that if they don't teach kids in nursery school and kindergarten how to be perverts that they'll never learn on their own?

It's getting to the point where I think our kids would be better off on the streets than being taught by the likes of today's liberal-controlled public schools.

If a Liberal/Democrat politician/media figure wants to put their arms around you, or pat you on the back, all they're doing is looking for a good place to stick a knife.

By all means, let's teach children about the contributions LuGButTs have made to society.  Shall we start with AIDS?

Explain to your kids that when Prissy or anyone else on MSNBC says "Lean Forward," DON'T, or you may find out what "Pop It" really means.

As for when pedophilia will be the cause de jour, I'd say as soon as gay marriage is settled law, the heat will go up on that little beauty (no pun intended).

I would like to say the above about abortion. And while it may be true, I can't bring myself to even think it. I consider a child in the mother's womb a living human being. Abortion is just wrong.

Regarding teaching kids about gays, not my kids. You want to teach that crap to my kids, I will pull him out of class while it's being "taught."

Media softening for the alleged gay lovers of BHO story ....

Submitted by jmigyanka@msn.com on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 6:07pm.

......Mom of Murdered Obama Gay Lover Speaks Up
The story about President Barack Obama’s bi-sexual past will not go away. Now, in an exclusive interview with The Globe, Norma Jean Young, the 76-year old mother of the late Trinity United Church of Christ choir director Donald Young, has spoken out and declared that persons trying to protect Obama murdered her son at the height of the 2007 Democratic presidential primary to protect Obama from embarrassing revelations about his homosexual relationship with her son. Donald Young’s bullet-ridden body was found in his Chicago apartment on December 23, 2007, in what appeared to be an assassination-style slaying.
Some facts:
In late May, Wash. DC-based investigative journalist Wayne Madsen had a bombshell revelation about Obama’s membership in a Chicago gay club, Man’s Country. Madsen also reported on Obama’s sexual relationships with other men, including named D.C. politicians and Donald Young, the openly-gay choir-director of the church in Chicago of which Obama was a member for some 20 years — Jeremy Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ black liberation theology. Obama’s relationship with Young was confirmed by Larry Sinclair, who claims to have had two sex-cocaine trysts with Obama.
There were two other openly gay men in Wright’s church: Larry Bland and Nate Spencer. In late 2007, as Obama began his ascent to be the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, in a span of 1½ months, all three men “conveniently” died:
• Bland was murdered execution-style on November 17, 2007;
• Young was murdered execution-style on December 24, 2007;
• Spencer reportedly died of septicemia, pneumonia, and HIV on December 26, 2007.
• Death certificates of Bland and Young, http://www.rense.com/general82/cdet.htm
Now, Young’s elderly mother is speaking out about her suspicions that her son was murdered to protect Obama’s reputation and assure his political future as President.
