Carter is an idiot.  If oil companies wanted to help Republicans, the best thing to do would be to keep prices up and let the Democrats explain their refusal to allow domestic oil production to be increased.  Artificially lowering the price takes the focus off of the Dims roadblocks.

And Carter says this on a day that oil rose by $2 a barrel based upon SUPPLY concerns.

He goes to the most crooked foreign countries and observes elections, yet he says that here in America, we are worse than them.

He accepts a Nobel Peace Prize (and about a cool million bucks) and allows a diatribe against his own country. (If President Carter wanted a lesson rejecting gifts from people who trash us, check in with Mayor Giuliani when he rejected $10 million from the Saudis after 9/11)

He participates in partisan rancor at every opportunity (much like President Clinton) that, in the past, former presidents would NEVER engage do.

The man has no dignity. He was an ineffective president and he has become less respected since his decision to engage in slash-and-burn politics.

Try as he might, Jimmy Carter will be unable to reinvent his sordid life or ineffectual presidency. As bigtimer and others have suggested here, he is a bitter, spiteful man who has no legacy of any value to resurrect. His comments about the United States are tainted because of his allegiance to Arabia.

Once again the Democrats trot out a lie dressed up as the truth.  Did Jimmeh ever cite any sources for these accusations or is it all just speculative? Does he have any contacts in the wretched oil industry that tipped him off? Or does it have more to do with the fact that most liberals are desperate for bad news, skyrocketing gasoline prices and a failing economy to have any hope of winning an election?

Scientists have discovered that peanut pollen may cause serious brain damage. First it makes you secretly "lust" then it just f***s up your thinking processes.
