This Makes Me sick.

What is this fascination with Obama as the new messiah? Why didn't we have widespread New Age promotion of, say, Clinton?

That just ruined one of my favorite songs.

This is just so precious, it makes one sick to their stomach to think this is what would help idiots that vote in the first place vote.

As an aside the whining about the big bad voting machines are starting already...and guess whose fault it is...yep, the evil repubs...

I just saw a segment on Dobbs that had some nit-wits touching the wrong spot to vote either for McCain or Obama and acting as if this was the machines fault and not calibrated correctly...five people complained..it was obvious what happened, please, this is intentional, if they weren't worried in states and nationwide, why the moaning already...eh?

This was West Virginia I think.

I live about 80 miles from there and have worked there many times.  You see people standing on the streets with 'free mumia' signs all over the place.  Very liberal, very idiotic city, in my opinion.  And the liberal nature of the city has very little to do with it's geographic location.  The hippies are mostly from the northeast there.  It's in North Carolina, but if you visit there, you'd think you were in Vermont.

The song that is playing throughout that video says "Lord, prepare me to be a santuary, pure and holy, tried and true...   ... I'll be a living santuary for you."  That sounds a lot like they are trying to make him be their messiah.

This all really makes me sick.  Cult worship is really not my bag.  However, let's not go down this slippery slope of ridiculing and chastising people for their beliefs (that's the liberals job).  I strongly believe in people's right/duty to vote for whomever they please and for whatever reason they wish to do so.  Yeah, it's obvious the Dems and Libs are full of a bunch of idiots.  What pisses me off more than anything is when liberals want to marginalize conservatives, cut us off and steal elections.  I want to live in a Demoracy where opposing viewpoints are heard and the "people" decide who they want to vote for not MSM pundits or left-wing journalists. 

I truly believe in the conservative cause, not because I'm in love with McCain, Rush Limbaugh, Hannity (although I like the latter two a lot) but because it's just the right thing to do.  I believe in it so much that it stands to reason that if the people have an opportunity to hear what conservatism is all about then we can stand against liberalism. 

Let these guys worhship Obama if they want. We can continue to expose their lunacy but we should never advocate taking away their rights or even suggest they shouldn't vote based on their own beliefs. 

That all said, I truly detest liberalism and most liberals in general.  I don't want to hang with them or have anything to do with them at all. 

As far as Obama being the anti-Christ is concerned, I don't think so.  If/when a real anti-christ comes the vast majority of people wont even know it or realize it until its way too late.  Obama is just another liberal hack in a nice suit - nothing more. 

   In a way, if we have to have the lord and savior obama as President it will be fun pushing him off the pedestal that so many have put him on.  There is no way any person can satisfy all these elevated expectations.  He could end up more hated than George Bush.  The only way he can avoid the fall is to copy the Clinton Presidency and do little things that nobody really remembers and stick his face in front of the camera whenever possible, avoid lose-lose situations, take credit for any good thing and let a supportive press constantly remark about how high his popularity is.

The grape Flavor Aid has been mixed, and stands waiting in washtubs by the pavilion.

If this "vision" frightens you, pray for two things: 0bama's defeat, and the well-being of these misguided souls.

Oprah has been touting this -'the universe will be kind to you'- stuff- the past few years and she too supports obama.

I'm singing a different tune (I know it's Scripture, but years ago in Sunday School it was put in melody and now I sing it instead of recite it):

How has this country become so deluded that it has no concern for the truth and is willing to elect someone for change just because it is called change. The delusion of the left has left them with no semblance of right and wrong. They are immoral. They hate God. They hate anything that is centered in biblical morality. They are abortionists, promoters of gay rights, anti-gun, despisers of anything good. How did this nation turn against God in two generations? Why do they not have any moral sense of right or wrong? It all started and has been carried out 6 hrs. a day in a public school and in higher institutions of learning by an "elite" group of people called teachers. Most teachers, professors, etc... are extreme left politically and morally. The more left you go, the less morals you have. Lying is no big deal to them. The moral foundations of this country have been destroyed by the educational institutions. Each succeeding generation has been indoctrinated with the philosophy of secular humanism. It is not God that has damned America, but America has damned herself with her own devices. All God has to do is leave us alone and we are doomed. He doesn't have to mess anyone up. All He has to do is leave us alone and He has! When the anti-God left is viewed as the saviors of our country and their candidate is their "messiah", there is only one credible answer to this delusion, America has forgotten God and God has forgotten America. God has turned America over to herself! This is scary!

It isn't "new age" music. IF it were I wouldn't feel like THROWING UP. It's a gospel song that we sing in my church with a different arrangement. And to sing a song dedicated to thanking Christ for being allowed to serve him, and to imply in ANY WAY that Obama the BABY KILLING, SODOMITE LOVING, COMMUNIST is akin to something "HOLY", shows these cretins for the soulless husks that they really are.  

 I've known a lot of hippies and they always seem to have some weird fascination with making religious icons from Haile Selassie to Bob Marley (Jamaica) to Malcolm X, and now Obama. They worship these people rather than the true God.
