Hot on the heels of Congressman Jack Murtha charging the voters of western Pennsyvania as being racists who will probably hurt Barack Obama in that state comes the breaking news this evening that Murtha has cancelled a scheduled debate set for tonight with his election opponent. Pretty big news but guess what? Your humble correspondent is currently unable to find this stunning information in any mainstream news outlet. All reports of this debate cancellation by Murtha has come entirely from the Blogosphere which the MSM has derided for years as being an "unreliable source" for information. Unreliable source? How about the only source? Since the MSM has once again fallen down on their news reporting job, here are the reports of this Murtha debate cancellation flooding in from the Blogosphere starting with PA Water Cooler:

tonight’s debate has been cancelled. Apparently, Mr. Murtha does not want to face his constituents, but is okay with calling them racists.
Feel free to call EVERY news outlet/talk show/ blog you can think of and scream about this latest example of his unwillingness to even pay attention to his constituents.
Somehow that calling every news outlet thing hasn't quite worked out but many blogs are now carrying the story such as Ace of Spades HQ which included this rather humorous remark:
He didn't run away... he just redeployed to Okinawa.
And, of course, this story was also covered at that go-to place for all things Pennsylvania, GrassrootsPA, which was created and edited by Chris Lilik, that "twenty-something blond-haired Polish/Ukrainian kid and fellow Pennsylvania political news junkie." GrassrootsPA also had some great comments from readers about Murtha's incendiary remarks:

I have to wonder if this is a concerted demorcartic effort to make undecideds think that if they choose not to vote for Obama they are racist. They have been dropping this line about all sorts of things lately and I just don’t get it. If the polls were reveresed I would understand but he is winning, unless his internal polls are showing weakness along the race lines, which I have said on here before would not suprise me. After all I belive he is still losing in Allegheny County.
The MSM will eventually get around to reporting on the debate cancellation by Murtha but as of right now one has to rely on the "unreliable" blogosphere for reports on this story. And this is happening on many stories with increasing frequency. All too often, the MSM follows where the Blogosphere leads.

The fossil media then becomes a source for real journalism to take place as bloggers take the real story to the people.
Several times this past summer when writing on Barack Obama I had people write to me telling me they liked my journalism.
I honestly felt that was an insult and still cringe at the word as exploring stories is not what I consider journalism and the last thing I want is to be lumped with a bunch of liars like Charlie Rose.
I had Joseph Farah inform me I needed to polish my writing. I informed Mr. Farah my writing reflects the internet ramped up language of a new era of journalism. I also posted on my blog until people start paying me for stories they don't have the right to critique one verse I post as the words are meant to educate freely.
I had Jeff Rense inform me no one would take me serious when he was slapping around Gov. Palin, because I was spelling Shimon Peres as Simone Peres. Jeff Rense couldn't comprehend even after I told him that Simone is Italian European spelling and since Peres is European and in bed with European financiers that is an appropriated spelling.
The best and only journalism which has occurred is that in places like NoQuarterUSA etc... The only purpose I ever use a venue like Charlie Rose is to listen in on his Obama buddies making mistakes in telling the world what is coming next so it can be exposed.
I find it highly amusing that the internet chatter was driving the Drudge Report. I have been posting on the bogus pole numbers here and elsewhere and voila the media has to react to that work with "likely voter" stories.
The Drudge Report had one with McCain only 2 points down. McCain is up 6 by estimation of trends and how crestfallen Jake Tapper was last night after the debate.
The entire media and pollsters are covering their butts now which means the bloggers and sites like Newsbusters are driving the information in exposing what is really going on.
Hey it must matter or Google would not be deliberately signing me out of my blog again in attempting to delay me from writing about Obama.
They are leaving me up I conclude to keep tabs on me and where this is being driven. By "they" I mean Obama's benefactors.
The fossil media is finished and honestly it appears that many of the high paid people like Rush Limbaugh are approaching the bone pile status, because even Joseph Farah is lagging behind the bloggers now in numbers of stories.
This will ramp up faster as a new bunch of children figure out how to do a few things better.
PS: If anyone has been watching the new camera work on BBC World America, that might have been a suggestion of mine in being saracastic to them about Kiran Chetry's Betty Boop appearances.
Man would I love to poke olde Murtha around to make him bounce in an interview.

We have democrats making racist comments almost on a daily basis now, and we have a candidate who sat in a racist, anti-semite church for 20 years, wrote two books dripping with racism and antipathy for the "white man", who pals around with a domestic terrorist who isn't fond of the "white man", has close ties to Farrakhan, yet another racist and anti-semite, and also has close ties with another reverand who isn't fond of the white man and who has so little self-respect that he's tight with Farrakhan despite Farrakhan and company saying "yeah, he's a blue-eyed blonde-haired white devil, but he's our blue eyed, blonde-haired white devil", yet somehow...somehow, it's Republicans who are the racists.

Wurzelbacher registered as an apprentice with the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council in November 2003, according to Dennis Evans, spokesman with the Department of Job and Family Services. Records show his training, which was sponsored by A & W Newell Co. of Toledo, should have been wrapped last year.
“We don’t have a record of completion,” Evans said. “All we know is that he registered in the program and has gone through to the point where we should have record of completion, but we don’t.”
And that’s not the only record that’s missing from Wurzelbacher’s file. He doesn’t have a plumbing license required by the city of Toledo to practice, according to a staffer with the Toledo Division of Building Inspection. Wurzelbacher, who now works for Newell Plumbing & Heating Co., said the owner, Al Newell, has a plumbing license and that “because he works for someone else, he doesn’t need a license.”
But even that’s not true, according to the Toledo Division of Building Inspection. Wurzelbacher can’t legally do plumbing work without a license, regardless of his boss’s certification.
A staff person with the Toledo Division of Building Inspection told On Call this afternoon that her division will contact Wurzelbacher to notify him that he can’t work without a license.
“We’re trying to track him down,” she said.

I really thought the people of this region had a great chance to vote this senile geezer out of office the last two elections. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. So many morons around here say that he has done so much for the local area.
If he has... Why do many need to leave this area to find a good job? Why is our infrastructure in such poor condition, especially his infamous "interstate" project for Rt. 219? Why did he opt for a pork project to have a $400,000 artistic arch built in the area? And on and on and on.
About the only thing he has accomplished is to have the Johnstown airport named after him. And if anyone knows the state of the place and the lack of flights, it is aptly named.
