Wanda Sykes Takes Cheap Shot at Romney, Mormonism and Polygamy
Polygamy was officially banned by the Mormon Church in 1890. Mitt Romney has been married to only one woman for 43 years.
But that didn’t stop perilously liberal comedienne Wanda Sykes from taking a polygamist swipe at Romney on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
Sykes and her host were talking about elements of her lesbian marriage. She mentioned that because they both work, it’s hard to manage the kids.
“Right now, I’m really trying to talk her into getting another wife,” Sykes joked. “We have a great nanny, but we need another wife. Nannies, they want days off, you know, they work certain hours. Wives, nobody cares. They just work.”
“You just say ‘thank you,’” Sykes continued, “send them some flowers, take them to dinner every now and then. You know, I told my wife you don’t have to worry about it because, you know, we’ll be married so you know there’s no sex involved.”
“That’s why I’m kind of leaning towards Romney right now,” added Sykes.
[Add rimshot here.]
Not surprisingly, Kimmel and his audience thought this was hysterical.
You see, irrespective of the facts about Mormonism and Romney’s marriage, cheap shots at his religion and polygamy are held in great esteem by liberal media members much like penis and flatulence jokes on the playground.

Church, this lady goes to church? You must be assuming she does. If she does, the pastor and congregation need to be repent and stop masquerading as a church. These liberal churches are more afraid of man than God. They bring God down to a level that they can accept and does not threaten the sin in their life, and they can remain in the dark. They are not a church, in the Biblical sense of the word, they are a religious social club, meant to sooth the conscious, not free the soul from sin. Ok I am off topic, but the subject was brought up.

Two people of the same sex pretending to be "married" judging someone else for being in a polygamous relationship.

It's too bad material things

It's too bad material things are more important to them instead of their children. One could stay home and take care of the kids and you don't need to hire a nanny to care for them or turn a relationship into a threesome. I'm sure that hasn't even occured to them. If it's choice between the kids and a job, it's not even a close decision apparently.

Stay with Obama, Wanda
Submitted by Cool Arrow on Thu, 07/12/2012 - 10:52am.
After all, his Obama's daddy was a polygamist. Obama hasn't renounced the taking of multiple wives, afaik.
And here we go. All that talk about how ludicrous it is to think legal acknowledgment of homosexual marriage would lead to a clamor for more exotic marriages. No sooner does the ink dry and Wanda is talking about adding another participant into her marriage.

Kimmel had on a "guest" who was a homeless drug-addict lesbian pedophile, it wouldn't make what they had to say important or even interesting... So why does anyone care what this so-called comediane has to say?

I would not be at all surprised to learn that neither Sykes nor Kimmel knows that Harry Reid is a Mormon.
As long as they think it's only a Republican politician who is a member of the LDS the faith is fair game to them. I'd bet $1,000,000 (that I don't even have!) that if Oblunder were suddenly to convert to Mormonism all mention of Mormons by the so-called MSM and supposed comedians immediately would cease and be deemed off limits.

J....Ahh, didn't know that. You know, you'd think they'd figure out that this attack on Mormons (or any other religion) by the Obamabots will just not work, and will indeed tick off much of the electorate. For sure they can't move a campaign based on Obama's "accomplishments", but to pick on a candidate's religion as a reason for not voting for that candidate is a fool's errand. Talk about bigotry.
