Geraldo Rips Tom Cruise: 'Does Scientology Have Special Program... for Closeted Gay Super Stars?'

Geraldo Rivera took quite a poke at actor Tom Cruise Sunday.

Via his Twitter account, Rivera asked, "Does Scientology have special program to provide cover for closeted gay super stars?"

Does Scientology have special program to provide cover for closeted gay super stars? Great marketing device- In few yrs it'll be mainstream

— Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) July 2, 2012

Yikes.

Tell us what you really think, Geraldo.

Makes you wonder if Rivera was following up on anti-Scientology comments made by News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch Sunday.

As Yahoo! reported:

"Scientology back in news," Murdoch tweeted. "Very weird cult, but big, big money involved with Tom Cruise either number two or three in [hierarchy]."

The owner of Fox News, Wall Street Journal and New York Post followed the "cult" comment with another tweet.

"Watch Katie Holmes and Scientology story develop," Murdoch wrote. "Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people."

Coincidence?

Have you quit beating your wife(s), Geraldo?

Submitted by Blonde on Sun, 07/01/2012 - 9:34pm.

Disgusting asshat.

I am not overly fond of Tom Cruise.....but REALLY?

I'm sure their little 5 year old daughter will love reading this years down the road.

Geraldo is worse than toe jam. By a factor of a million.

I used the word 'schmegma' in describing somebody similiar to Jerry Rivers a while ago, but I got resoundly scolded for it - but I still think it's a very descriptive adjective/noun!!!

OK...........what about a steamy pile of Kenyan Kow Krap??? That's pretty low-down.

I don't care anything at all

Submitted by killa37 on Sun, 07/01/2012 - 10:56pm.

I don't care anything at all about Cruise - and he's about as 'macho' and 'manly' as Boy Baraka, so his movies are an exercise in 'suspending disbelief'..............and I've known a few Scientologists myself, and they're not as 'clear' as they might think they are...........but none of this should matter to a self-absorbed dope like Jerry Rivers, who has ALWAYS had 'credibility' issues with everyone but himself - so he probably shouldn't be shooting off his big mouth about anybody else!!!

And hey...........I thought being gay was the 'new normal'??? After all, we DO have a gay president now, and Oreo cookies has made a rainbow colored filling for it!!! Hell, my cat Oreo is black and white, and proud of both colors - and the rats are afraid of both of them!!! Plus, the only time she's RED all over is when she kills some diry lib vermin!!!

If Gerry only knew how little I care which side of the plate that TC hits from and that I care about his opinion even less. I really wish he would do one of his "Dickumentaries" on the last hours of a failed Mooslum suicide bomber, in depth and up close...

Why is Geraldo acting like it's something Cruise would be trying to hide?

And this is what he's "reporting" on? HAHAHA I guess it's better than Al Capone's safe.

Seriously

Submitted by Tugboat Phil on Sun, 07/01/2012 - 10:28pm.

Why would anyone, except those living in Islamist countries have to be in the closet anymore? All they need to do is march down the street of any major city to proclaim their "pride" while displayig their specific sexual fetish.

President Obama is a Muslim (from his own lips), Kenyan (read it from his publicist) a homosexual (read it on a news magazine cover) and a Socialist (I'm alive and can see it for myself)

Submitted by killa37 on Sun, 07/01/2012 - 10:59pm.

Yeah, right, Tug!!! Try marching down the street with an American flag, proclaiming your white conservative pride - in many places across the USSA, and see if you make it to the next block!!! And even if you had a black conservative with you, he'd get the same treatment as you!!!

How many times do I have to tell you? Black conservatives aren't really "black."

As for the flag parade, as long as I stay away from both coasts and major college campi, I'll do alright.

Submitted by rammingspeed on Sun, 07/01/2012 - 11:49pm.

What's that I hear?
Lawsuit!!!!!
Cruise WILL be able to prove loss of reputation and all the rest vis a vis audience rejection/loss of revenue - unless Rivera has definitive proof that Cruise is gay. Even then, Geraldo is probably going to end up regretting this.

Geraldo Rivera "lost it" while being interviewed by Laura...

Submitted by jawebster1 on Mon, 07/02/2012 - 12:47pm.

Ingraham last Friday on "The Factor", I think he has "issues" as the latest overused saying goes. I wonder if Fox News is easing him out and he is secretly auditioning for his own weekday show on MSNBC?

So instead of having no audience on weekends, he could have no audience all week long.

This made me laugh. He actually told Laura that he is a Republican! I'm not kidding. He said it with a straight face.

In one of the unfortunate

Submitted by killa37 on Mon, 07/02/2012 - 12:57pm.

In one of the unfortunate times that I happened to see Rivers - I used to watch O'Reilly once in a while, until I finally decided that he wasn't worth watching - I also heard him say that he was a Republican...............but then again, so a quite a few other idiots, so I never refer to myself as a Republican.

What was he 'losing it' about???
