Maher: Romney Should Pick George Zimmerman VP for 'The Black Guy’s Up To No Good' Campaign
Bill Maher on Friday made another in a long line of disgusting remarks about Mitt Romney and Republicans being racist.
In the concluding segment of HBO's Real Time, the host encouraged Romney to choose Trayvon Martin's assailant George Zimmerman as his vice presidential candidate to "personify [his] campaign theme of 'I Think The Black Guy’s Up To No Good'" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
BILL MAHER: Right now the smart money for VP is on Florida Senator Marco Rubio who you may recognize as the brother of the bride in every wedding you’ve ever been to. But Senator Rubio has intelligence, experience, and honesty issues, or what pundits call “The Full Palin.”
I’d love to see Maher in a one-on-one debate with Rubio about anything. There frankly wouldn’t be much left after the Senator swept the floor with him.
But Maher was just getting warmed up trashing America’s leading Republicans:
MAHER: Now many Republicans of course want naugahyde beanbag chair and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as Mitt’s second in command, and it’s hard to look at him and not think number two.
Imagine that: Maher employed a kindergarten term to equate one of America’s leading governors to human excrement. HBO must be so proud.
But he wasn’t done yet, not by a long shot:
MAHER: And then there’s Congressman Paul Ryan. On the plus side, he has piercing blue bedroom eyes. On the minus side, he’s a heartless, smirking bastard and the only people who can stand him are heartless, smirking bastards, and Mitt, you already have that vote locked up.
So the only person in either chamber of Congress to offer a budget in the past two years is a “heartless, smirking bastard.” And this guy claims he’s pro-Democracy.
But he still wasn’t done:
MAHER: Of course there’s always Tim Pawlenty. He almost makes Mitt Romney look interesting in the way that a blank sheet of paper makes a sheet of paper with a smudge on it look interesting.
Makes you wonder which piece of paper Maher is in this analogy. But I once again digress:
MAHER: So Mitt, if you are serious about winning, you have to think outside the box. What about, hear me out, Romney Zimmerman 2012? It’s unorthodox, but who better than George Zimmerman to personify your campaign theme of “I Think The Black Guy’s Up To No Good?”
And this is what HBO promotes as acceptable commentary on its cable network.
How revolting.

Insert joke here about Obama picking Maher for VP to personify his campaign theme of misogyny.

to the comment Tavis Smiley said about this was going to be the most racist election ever. He was right and as I thought then when I heard the statement, it would be all from the Left.

I wonder if this bigoted fool, would keep maligning the "innocent til proven guilty" Mr Zimmerman, if his name were Pablo? My guess is no, but Maher would terribly torn between defending the guilty black Martin- kid or the hispanic- man defending himself. Maybe Maher is simply afraid of (less than) Sharpton and Jesse Jackasson.

...over NBC News' editing of the 911 call that smeared white Hispanic George Zimmerman.
Oh. Wait. My bad. I can't find such a video clip. (Maybe there isn't one because Maher, as politically incorrect as he claims to be, couldn't bring himself to do the truly politically incorrect thing and savage NBC News for their bad and, dare I say, biased actions.)

Two things.
#1) The hypocritical MSM will ignore this insanely racist horsesh*t because they agree with Maher, and they are hysterical about the great possibility of Obama becoming a thrown out bum in November. (SCOTUS' Obamacare ruling notwithstanding.)
#2) Paul Ryan does not smirk. Maher was projecting his own assh*le antics onto another, as usual.

feel about his racism and misogyny?
As one of the owners of the NY Mets, it's only reasonable to assume that since no comments are coming out of the Mets front office, then they must agree with him, right? Nothing from Major League Baseball, so the rest of the owners must be just as Racist and Misogynistic as Maher, right?
The silence of the NY Mets and the Major League Baseball owners over the constant Racism and Misogyny emitting from this evil little troll, is deafening and astounding at the same time. Major League Baseball and the MY Mets, obviously, are in 100% lockstep with this disgusting little man.
Question is, will they continue to circle the wagons and protect and accept this kind of racism and hatred as a code of Major League Baseball?

It's about ideologies not racism and he knows it. But facts are of no concern for lying slash and burn left thinkers like Maher who will do or say anything no matter how outrageous the lie to spoon feed his white audience. It's a shame he's dumbing down real racism to promote his socialist agenda. But that's typical for white liberals like Maher who pretend to advocate the Black community but truthfully want to keep it on the socialist
plantation.
Good idea for a topical campaign, wrong choice, Bill

Nah, not George Zimmerman. He should pick Joe Wurzelbacher for "the Communist guy's going to just spread it around campaign".
