Rush Calls Sam Donaldson 'Ignorant' for Saying People 'Like Limbaugh' Oppose Obama Because He's Black
As NewsBusters reported Saturday, former ABC White House correspondent Sam Donaldson told the Huffington Post, "Many on the political right believe this president [Barack Obama] ought not to be there – they oppose him not for his polices [sic] and political view but for who he is, an African American! These people and perhaps even certain news organizations (certainly the right wing talkers like Limbaugh) encourage disrespect for this president."
Limbaugh responded to this nonsense by email moments ago:
"Sam's premise, sadly, is ignorant, simplistic, clichéd, predictable and wrong. The President's ideas are what I oppose, not his skin color, which I couldn't care less about. He's the President of the United States and his race does not inoculate or immunize him from substantive critique."
We couldn't have said it any better.
If only media members such as Donaldson would understand this tremendously basic concept about politics in America today.
It's not about race. It's about policies and ideas.
Only the Left and their media minions are fixated on the color of Obama's skin.

on issues. It is very similar to the love/hate affair with Lebron James. There is a large segment

What it demonstrates is his belief that racism is still rampant and any issue involving people of different races is motivated by that factor. As a conservative, I've often had the "racist" label hurled at me for simply disagreeing with liberals. But in the supposedly "post-racial" Obama era, that approach has been pumped up with rhetorical steroids. No matter how legitimate conservative arguments might be, it seems that nearly every criticism that conservatives have about Obama, personally, or the bulk of his policies, is met with the "racist" charge by those on the left (like good old Sam). Off the top of my head, here are just a few examples that come to mind:
· Calling Obama “skinny” is racist.
· Calling Obama a “socialist” is racist. (In fact, some lefties actually suggest that “socialism” is the new “N”-word.)
· Opposition to Obama's ’09 “stimulus” bill was motivated by nothing but racism.
· Opposition to "Obamacare" is definitely racist.
· If you dare to criticize Obama for being a member of a church (for two decades) that openly embraces a radical, race-based theology (“black liberation theology”), you’re the one who is infected by racism.
· If you criticize Obama’s “crony capitalism,” you’re probably motivated by racism.
· If you support a race-neutral and merit-based society and criticize the Obama administration's race-specific policies, you're the racist.
· If you’re concerned about the fixation Obama and his fellow libs have about global warming, your “this generation’s racists” (according to Al Gore).
· Criticize Obama’s long ties to the race-hustlers of ACORN, you’re nothing but a scumbag racist.
· Criticize Obama for his connection to unrepentant, former domestic terrorists, you’re clearly a racist.
· Poke fun at Obama for being too “cool,” and you’re racist.
· Poke fun at Obama for taking an inordinate number of vacations to ritzy locations, and you are probably a racist.

I'm fed up with the race-baiting that is constantly utilized by those on the left. It's slowly destroying the country, and, I fear, there's not much time left to make the necessary course correction before it's simply too late.

Seeing as how Limbaugh spends 3 hours a day giving chapter and verse on what he disapproves of, its hard to imagine that Donaldson couldnt come up with an actual example or two of policies which Limbaugh is being inconsistent on to point to..
What then was the reason with his disagreements with other Democratic politicians? Apparently his objections can be principled as long as the race of the politician is white or any other other ethnic variety than black, in which case it is by default racism.
It would be as easy to claim that critics of black conservatives are racist as well.
This is a has been trying to show that he's still relevant.

Isn't ironic how Sam Donaldson emerges from the growing pile of irrelevant MSM has beens just days after a current White House correspondent is chastised and ridiculed by the great Eauxbama for interrupting his speech and "shouting him down" in the Rose Garden.
