Jesse Ventura: Presidential Candidates 'Should Be Required to Wear a NASCAR Racing Suit' to 'Show Who Owns Them'
Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura said Monday, "Every presidential candidate should be required to where a NASCAR racing suit.”
Appearing on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, the former wrestler added, "That way it will show who owns them."
During a rather rambling interview largely about the problem in politics today, Ventura said, "Right now, you got a scenario in this country where they can receive any amount of money from corporations, from anything, and they don’t even have to declare who they got the money from."
"I’ll give you another one that you’ll laugh it,” he continued. “I think every presidential candidate should be required to where a NASCAR racing suit.”
After host Piers Morgan did indeed chuckle, Ventura asked, “You know why? Well that way it will show who owns them. On NASCAR, they always got all the patches for who their sponsors are. Well that way us as the voters can then look at their suit and realize who owns them. Who paid them the money, who they’re going to favor, and that would make us more informed voters then if they’d wear NASCAR suits.”
“Well Jesse, it’s a brilliant idea,” responded Morgan. “The only problem is, absolutely nobody would ever do it.”

Hey Jesse, I thought you were giving up on America and becoming a Mexican citizen!
What's the problem? No one invites you on Mexican TV? Why are you back? Only an idiot like Piers Morgan would have you on.
Oh, wait, it's an election year.....I guess it's time for you to stick your head out of your hole and publicly agonize over whether you should run for president of the "Fascist States of America."
You said you'd lost your patriotism and "I will never stand for a national anthem again. I will turn my back and I will raise a fist," he said.
That's what you think of this country, so no one really cares what you have to say about politics or anything else here.
Please shut up and go away for good.
Yeah, I thought this buffoon

Yeah, I thought this buffoon had become a 'gringo'..............that would be a little pay-back to the Mexicans for sending so many illegals our way - they'd have to put up with this big-mouth moron. Apparantly 'the Body' has lost the majority of 'the mind'.
Hey, Jesse, shut your trap and go back to Mexico..............although I'll bet that was a big lie too.

Jesse, we both know that posting has been feeding through FaceBook for more than a year.
Nice of you to repeat it, but you could have at least prefaced it with "I read somewhere".

Jesse should be required to wear a clown suit to alert people to his true calling.

...this means nothing.
He was elected as Governor of Minnesota based exactly on the college fratboy vote of the "screw everything" mindset. He was a lousy Governor, despite being a stellar person in service of his country.
He lost me with the 911 conspiracy bull and the Lyndon LaRouche cult-like following.
And remember, doc,

And remember, doc, professional wrestling is totally staged and orchestrated..................so you could say that 'the fix was in' with regards to his wrestling career. And was he, or was he not, a Navy SEAL??? I"ve heard conflicting reports.
But any way you slice it, he's a loud-mouth wacko.............and if he hates the USA and has ex-patriated himself to Mexico, then he oughta be their problem now. Good luck, amigos................

If that's the case, then I think Boy Baraka's NASCAR monkey suit (oooooh!!! Was that a racist statement???) would be VERY interesting to look at.................I'd be willing to bet that he WOULDN'T want some of those sponsers made public!!!!! And considering who they might be, I don't blame him, because even the self-absorbed and delusional Boy Blunder KNOWS that some of his backers would really sink him, if they were known.

It's a "fire suit," not a "racing suit."
Submitted by ljacone on Tue, 06/12/2012 - 10:40am.
The primary purpose of the fire suit is to protect the driver from burns in case of a fire resulting from a crash. The fact that the sponsor patches are added to the fire suit is secondary to the protection offered by it.
I wish people who don't know anything about racing would stop making political allegories out of it, because all it does is expose how ignorant they are. Both from the political allegory itself, and from getting simple, easy to verify facts wrong.
"Racing suit." What a maroon.
How about Governors?

"I think every presidential candidate should be required to where a NASCAR racing suit."
It's funny that you mention this. I thought the same thing when you were running for office, but applied to Governors as well as Presidents. But, of course, I didn't see any "sponsor" patches on those Armani suits you donned for your campaign, you hypocrite!

What about the media?

Members of the media—or at least the highly-paid news elites and mega-pundits—should file financial disclosure reports that show their sources of income, how much, and their investments. You know, just like major political candidates that they interview on national or local TV. Goose, gander, sauce.
Remember back in the 90s when Sam Donaldson was wailing on the feds and Congress for all the farm subsidies while he was cashing farm support checks for his alpaca farm in NM or AZ?

I don't care if Jesse was a pro wrestler or a beekeeper, he's got a perfect right to speak his mind and to speak out. Something I don't see a lot of others doing. Reserve your discontent and anger for those idiots who have really messed up this country. I appreciate his comments and acknowledge his Constitutional right to express them. Actually, he makes a lot of sense, if you'd stop long enough from your tirade to listen to him.
Unless you can bring up another or even a better person who speaks up for this country, maybe you should just leave ol Jesse alone. BTW, it's not open season on his Seal career (at least he had a career, along with being elected Governor). Since when is it okay to cap a veteran?

How utterly foolish is that logic?

Foolish logic? About as foolish as you attacking me.
About as foolish as everyone else on this thread slamming Jesse and giving no basis for their opinions; sorry they were speaking their mind. I actually registered and waited so I could respond to this thread with my thoughts.
About as foolish as proclaiming yourself the "newbie narc" and trying to discourage any dissenting posts.
About as foolish as your subject line boldly ridiculing me & slapping me down for being a newbie and suggesting somehow that is not okay to post. I am a newbie here but a grizzled veteran at many other sites (mod x2). So the only bad behavior I see here is yours. Don't you have something better to do?

a member of the UDT in the Navy, he belonged to UDT Team 12. He was not a SEAL. He left the UDT 10 years prior to the merging of UDT and SEAL teams. Let me repeat that for you, greenie, he left the Navy in 1973, the SEALs and UDT were merged in 1983. Is he accorded SEAL status because he wanted to be one? Because he belonged to an organization that later merged with the SEALs?
"Cap a veteran"? It happens all the time, when they claim things that they aren't entitled to.
