Chris 'I Lost On Jeopardy!' Matthews: 'Palin's Briefing Papers Have the Weight of a Comic Book'

Eight days after making a fool of himself on Jeopardy!, MSNBC's Chris Matthews was back to impugning the intellectual capacity of Sarah Palin.

After playing a clip of the former Alaska governor discussing why she wanted John McCain to focus on Barack Obama’s connection to the America-hating Reverend Jeremiah Wright in the 2008 campaign, Matthews mocked Tuesday, “I think her briefing papers have the weight of a comic book” (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

He continued, “Anyway, there you have it. That’s Sarah Palin, the so-called 'game changer,' calling for more thorough vetting of President Obama. I would put vetting in her case more to use.”

This from a guy who thinks the six-letter capital of Russia is Istanbul.

Cue Weird Al Yankovic:

Puddy-Tat Matthews Attacks Palin?

Submitted by lgeubank on Tue, 05/22/2012 - 7:02pm.

At least she has teeth and doesn't constantly spit when she talks. All Matthews ever shows is gums and saliva (and not brains).

I actually feel sorry for this guy. He's an embarrassment.

It would help him a bit if he would just realize that talking louder doesn't make him any smarter.

Jeopardy match of the decade

Submitted by canuck6474 on Tue, 05/22/2012 - 7:13pm.

I would absolutely love a Jeopardy match between Matthews, O'Donnell and Sarah Palin. It would be the most watched episode EVER! This game would be fair in that the questions would not be rigged.

I bet anything that Sarah Palin would win and embarrass those other two pompous idiots.

Can you imagine how many liberal heads would be exploding? It would be hilarious. It would put a stop to the condescending insulting smears about Governor Palin's intelligence. They cannot believe the power that this woman has whenever she opens her mouth. It drives them nuts.

IMHO the issue hinges on integrity, not game shows

Submitted by needle on Tue, 05/22/2012 - 8:00pm.

And with regards to integrity there nothing I would not trust Sarah Palin with.

Chris and O'Donnell, not so much.

- Looking forward to the self-annihilation of the Manipulated Stories Machine.

Please save this video clip

Submitted by needle on Tue, 05/22/2012 - 7:55pm.

As more and more of un-vetted Obama's past inadequacies, lies and hypocrisies come to light this clip may become a classic.

Who is going to forget how the DNC media gave a pass to Obama on everything and had essentially inaugurated him by June of 2008.

- Looking forward to the self-annihilation of the Manipulated Stories Machine.

This Is Too Easy...

Let's face facts, Chris Matthews would (of course) be intimately acquainted with the weight of a comic book.

Submitted by grammajane on Tue, 05/22/2012 - 9:46pm.

tingles has a self esteem problem. The more he tears others down, the better he feels about himself. He is a prime example of someone in desperate need of his many issues. Kind of like a drunk who keeps on drinking, no matter what the consequences end up being, even it means ruining his life. He is one pathetic, whatever he is supposed to be. In his case, msdnc and the white house, are his enablers who will, someday, bring him down.

Well damn Christie, in comparison yours has the weight of a fly or another comparison as hers weight a ton and you are the weight of a marshmallow.
Don’t worry though the liberal propaganda media will keep you employed, why I am sure they don’t know but they will and you can actually take those delusion drugs that your doctor has been supplying to replace the Kool-Aid.
