MSNBC's Finney: Romney-Ryan Plan Would Kill Women By Their Mid-30s

By Noel Sheppard | May 04, 2012 | 16:05

MSNBC political analyst Karen Finney kicked horrific tales of the so-called GOP war on women into high gear on Friday's Martin Bashir show.

In a segment about the Obama campaign's portrait of a fictional woman's life under his leadership versus the Republican presidential candidate's, Finney said, "Here’s what life under the Romney-Ryan plan would be like for Julia...She’d be in the grave by her mid-30s" (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

As this deliciously absurd segment about the Julia campaign with nothing but liberal shills involved mercifully drew to a close, Finney said, "I would love to see the DNC or somebody follow up with a 'Here’s what life under the Romney-Ryan plan would be like for Julia.'"

Bashir started laughing like she said the funniest thing he'd ever heard.

Finney continued, "She’d be in the grave by her mid-30s I can almost assure you.”

Georgetown University’s Michael Eric Dyson chimed in, “Yeah, it would be falling off the edge of the cliff like on The Price is Right.”

So now Republican policies are going to kill women before they hit the age of 40.

And MSNBC considers itself to be a "news network."

Journalism classes have got to consider MSNBC an absolute laugh riot. It's a liberal rubber room of idiots.

So much for Obama's putative natterings about "civil" discourse. Only a truly disturbed person would say something like this.

Beck had it right

Submitted by CO2Maker on Fri, 05/04/2012 - 4:31pm.

Beck and company noted that in Obama's Julia scenario, she'd be killed in the third trimester in a partial-birth abortion. I'll add: Julia's sacrifice would be patriotic because she'd save or create a job by not needing the Federal government to spend so much money on her.

Why does the fact that this took place on Basher's show not surprise me?

I didn't realize it at first, but I was watching PJTV's Kruiser Control with Stephen Kruiser, and he pointed out that Julia is faceless! (free subscription may be required; Julia segment starts at 8:50)

If you've never watched Kruiser, he's a hoot! Tingle Time, The Circle of Dumb, it's all good!

Anyhow....Julia is faceless, he says, because that's how (liberals, I guess) they see the people they're helping ...faceless little cogs who will become constituents because they give them free stuff.

I think he's hit the nail on the head.

Weak Women?

Submitted by okiehawk44 on Fri, 05/04/2012 - 4:40pm.

Democrats' view of women as weak doesn't jibe with the life histories of the women in my life. Where do all these frail women come from and what makes them that way?

"Julia" is weak and pathetic

Submitted by Blonde on Fri, 05/04/2012 - 5:07pm.

So said Andrea Tantoros on Cavuto this afternoon.

It was really funny, Neil asked her why so many women support Obama over Romney if women thought being a government funded drone was a good thing. Poor Andrea, a conservative, didn't have a clue for the answer to THAT!

The fact that the media (and Bashir in particular) is supporting the notion of Obama's Imaginary Friends should wake up even the galactically stupid to the notion of liberal media bias.

Julia is obviously not a Latina.

Submitted by drsamherman on Fri, 05/04/2012 - 7:23pm.

I don't know any Latina of pride that would ever mooch off the government as badly as the fictitious Julia.

Sounds like Julia is a Democrat male's sexual fantasy.

That's a Great Point!!!

Submitted by tcm14 on Sat, 05/05/2012 - 3:44am.

I'm surprised no one has made that point yet.

Yeah I am a male but some of the women I know in my life would chew up any male and spit him out if he tried to mess with them. Seriously I would mess with a dude before I would mess with them. So why are the Democrats' painting all women as victims?

How do you get someone this stupid

Man they feed this clown the good stuff!!!!! Lady Christie Matthews sounds san and rational compare to her.

Do liberals deliberately raise their children stupid or is the drug administered later in life. This woman’s mental facilities ensure a leadership spot in Obama’s “Occupy Wall Street Crazies”

Are you going to murder them, Ms. Finney?

Submitted by drsamherman on Fri, 05/04/2012 - 4:58pm.

That the Democrat party uses a woman who seems to be the ideal example of histrionic personality disorder combined with low intelligence and a big mouth is not surprising.

Her words reflect a mass of assumptions, conventional stupidity and blatant disregard for corroborating facts.

Unless she plans to murder women in these circumstances, she should not be sure of anything.

Speaking of killing women - socialized medicine in UK

Submitted by Gary Hall on Fri, 05/04/2012 - 5:02pm.

Speaking of killing women. A number of young women in the UK's socialized government provided system are not receiving cervical screening for cancer; i.e., pap smears.

From: The NHS Cervical Screening Programme

Cervical screening is a free service on the NHS. Depending on which country you live in, you may be called at different ages for cervical screening:

First invitation for screening in England is at age 25.

Before the age of 25, young college students better be careful, Ms. Fluke.

how these people never explain their crazy assertions. HOW is the Romney-Ryan Plan going to put women in their graves by their mid-30's? Is she suggesting that the Romney-Ryan Plan is the government will go around the country murdering 30-something year old women? Oh wait, I'm looking for a rational explanation from a person incapable of rational thought, my bad.

I heartily accept the motto "That government is best which governs least" . . . Carried out, it finally amounts to this, which also I believe -- "That government is best which governs not at all" -Henry David Thoreau

What??

Submitted by giatn on Fri, 05/04/2012 - 7:17pm.

I wonder how those of us over 30 managed to get through life without Obama's
handouts of other people's money! Are there really women stupid enough to
believe that their lives hang by a thread without Obama? I used to find Karen
Finney a reasonable commentator; however, a few weeks ago when she claimed
Romney "seems to want to return to a time when women and blacks couldn't
vote", I added her name to Nancy Pelosi's on the list of women not worth listening to.
Pelosi's lunatic description of ows stands in stark contrast to what the movement
really is. The crime rate at occupy should be an embarrassment to any supporter,
but not Nancy.

.......because before Obama, lifespan of women was only 35 years. After Obama took office, it has jumped to 80. Once he leaves office, it will drop to 35 again.
