Bill Maher Uses Trayvon Martin Issue to Attack...Michele Bachmann?
Bill Maher on Friday actually used the Trayvon Martin issue to attack Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn).
In his HBO Real Time opening monologue, the host said of Congressman Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) wearing a hoodie on the House floor, "Too scary? Have you ever looked into Michele Bachmann's eyes?" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
BILL MAHER: And also, Congressman, African-American Congressman Bobby Rush (D-Il.) wore a hoodie on the floor of Congress to make a point this week and yeah, they threw him out. They said, “A hoodie - too scary for Congress.” Too scary? Have you ever looked into Michele Bachmann's eyes?
The idiots in the audience predictably laughed and applauded.
You see, this is what qualifies as comedy on HBO.
When in doubt, attack a conservative woman.
This is what's considered enlightened thinking by the holier-than-thou, open-minded, compassionate Left.

Once again, a Michele Bachmann fart has more substance than anything that Donkeyface may let leak out of his mouth.

It's easy enough to lampoon Bachmann, why do you need to use Trayvon to help you out?
Hmmmm...Not sure I get the joke.

Michelle Bachmann, IMHO, is quite attractive, eyes included.
On the other hand, there's another "Michelle" out there that, if one were so inclined, could be used very effectively as the punchline for a joke about "scary." She's got great arms, though. At least that's what the MSM keeps telling us.
Regarding Bobby Rush, I'm not sure anything needs to be said to make his performance any more funny than it was. Embarrassing to watch. Does this type of performance occur on a daily basis and we just never see it? And the congressional black caucus is loaded to the gills with individuals who are equally feeble. They're not fit to drive a school bus, let alone be representatives in our government. Now *that* is scary.

False premise

The premise here "IS" that Bill Maher is in touch with reality. The truth be known, God forbid, Bill Maher "IS" no different from any other professional clown. His material is handed to him. A (intellectually handicapped) writer manufactures this material. He prints it in large easy to read font for a 'Cornell' graduate to read and hands it to him. Maher "IS" not a smart man. He, like any other hollywood puppet does what he's told. He reads and he speaks like a socialist tool "IS" told to.
I think folks give him FAR more credit than he's due. His style is a little different than George Carlin or Andrew Dice Clay but still close enough to tell he hasn't the capacity for thought he's given credit for. It must be all of that acid he took while at Cornell.
