All you have to do is find something you need to defend, and instead of contrasting it with something totally unrelated and decidedly hideous, make a comparison.
It's like. "The Green Movement is offended that Ted Kennedy wasn't buried with his butt sticking out of the ground, supplying an eco-friendly bicycle rack for visitors."
All I need do is find one person, who collects clippings for mulch, who thinks it's funny, and suddenly the statement is absolutely true.

I don't think grand juries actually do investigations; and convening one likely means no more than going over what has been done already.
Grand juries are made up of regular, every day citizens; not trained investigators, forensic specialists, or mind readers.
Like any jury, they review and then act upon what is presented to them; and may request/require more in depth information or clarification if they deem it necessary.

Listening to NPR yesterday morning doing a report on this shooting and they referred to the gunman as a white Hispanic.
I have no clue if both of his parents are Hispanic or just one but to referr to him in this manner is race baiting plain and simple.
Side note: if it turns out that one of his parents is white then by definition we have a white African American President. At least that is how NPR sees it.
White Hispanic
Submitted by dave_worrell on Thu, 03/22/2012 - 3:26pm.
I think he does have one non-hispanic parent, but I can't swear to that.
White Hispanic is actually a specific classification. Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race. You have both black and white hispanics.
Having said that, they're obviously race baiting when they call him a white hispanic, whether they're correctly using the term or not. If the guy had been pulled over and beaten by police, they wouldn't be calling him a white hispanic. They'd be calling him hispanic or hispanic-American or something.
They're bending over backwards to emphasize the race deal, and this was not a racial thing. This is one bozo trying to be Rambo and gunning down an innocent kid.

What an incredibly weak connection. This is a news story that SHOULD be uniting people. People who demand that justice is served. Instead the Left is using it to divide people as much as possible, and turning it into a partisan issue. It's not. The shooter was likely a bad guy and he needs to be brought to justice. All of us could be brought together in our collective desire to see justice. Not violence, not hatred. JUSTICE. Al Sharpton and Van Jones see everything through a racial (even though the shooter was hispanic), myopic lens. They do society a disservice. They could be appealing to the masses, and instead they use opportunities to push divisive messages, rile up anarchists and communists, and let their message (whatever it is) to be fueled by hatred.

"I’d go further. I’d go further. Because if this unfolds the way it appears it’s unfolding, you know, in a country where its leader can talk about a radio host calling someone a name, we ought to be looking at ourselves and this situation really closely from the top down."
Look at what she's saying: Our Dear Leader needs to Do Something.
"And, quite frankly, it is, they’re looking at audio tapes right now of the cell phone, and there might have been a racial epithet."
It's a Racial Assassination. It's a Hate Crime! The federal government MUST step in and Do Something!
Joe want's the Governor to Do Something because he doesn't like how the local authorities handled this. But that's not good enough for Mika. She want's Obama to Do Something, to ether fire the police who didn't charge the man in question with a crime or put him in prison for "hate crimes." Make Obama the Judge, the Jury, and the Executioner. That's her wish, her desire. That may be fine for her while Obama is the president. But, I wonder: would she wish the same if, say, Romney was the President, or in that situation, would she prefer for the local authorities to handle this? After all, the security guard in question IS a Hispanic, a.k.a, a minority.
Here's how I read this entire exchange: both Joe and Mika don't like how the First Responders, a.k.a, the local authorities, handled that First Response, so, THEY MUST BE FIRED! And, why? Because the kid was a minority, shot by someone who looks like a Typical White Man, and the Typical White police are just protecting one of their own, ya know? Of course, now that we know that the guy wasn't a "typical white man," that he's actually a Hispanic, a minority, himself, well, let's focus entirely on the Typical White Police Force, with their Typical White nonchalant attitudes towards minority "victims" instead. After all, we can't let a good Racial Tragedy go to waste now, can we? It's obvious that Joe and Mika can't.
