Bret Baier Strikes Back At President's Alleged Claim Fox Says 'Obama Is a Muslim 24/7'
Politico reported Monday that a new book by Mother Jones's David Corn claims President Obama blamed his 2010 midterm elections defeat on Fox News constantly calling him a Muslim.
Fox News's Bret Baier struck back on Monday's Special Report saying, "For the record, we found no examples of a host saying President Obama is a Muslim" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
BRET BAIER: Corn also writes President Obama blamed this network for his midterm political woes. He told labor leaders he was “losing white males” because in part “fed by Fox News, they hear Obama is a Muslim 24/7, and it begins to seep in.”
For the record, we found no examples of a host saying President Obama is a Muslim.

Corn wrote it, Politico cited it, and now it's going to be blast all over the Obama-loving media until large portions of the nation believe it.

Trouble is indeed coming. If the Obamasiah gets re-elected, conservatives (and likely not a few liberals) will get pushed to the breaking point and violence will be the result. If he isn't re-elected, violence will be instantaneous starting with the inner-cities, based on the "racists" voting the Obamasiah out of office. Either way, we're in for a bad time very soon.
As for independents being idiots, I disagree. Most independents are simply fed up with both parties (I've been seriously considering changing my affilliation to "I"). The idiots are the party line voters, especially the dems. But voting strictly based on party has caused much damage to both sides over the past few decades. The reason I say the dem party line voters are the idiots is that they absolutely refuse to see, or admit to, the incredible damage their party is doing to this nation. I really dislike when people on either side generalize. I'm an independent. No, I'm not some wishy-washy uninformed idiot, just someone that disagrees with the Republican Party on the Social Conservative stance. I left the party in 1986 after seeing what was happening with the Meese Commission on Pornography which was a huge waste of money in order to squash the First Amendment. The Republican Party left me, the same way it left Barry Goldwater. I'm a Paleo-Conservative, a Barry Goldwater Conservative who believes Social Conservatism is as dangerous a use of Big Government as wealth redistribution and socialism on the Dem/Communist side. I still vote Republican and I vote in EVERY election.
I have a good friend who is a Democrat idiot. I try not to discuss politics with him as he is grossly misinformed. He believes he has all the answers and Obama is great. He believes this as he gets 99% of his political info from the talents of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Seriously, he gets his political ideology from a couple of breathing cartoons. As gas goes towards $5 a gallon, inflation eats his income, his children are being indoctrinated into good little Communists without any real education, his house value continues to plummet, Obama is a good President, Bush was Hitler.

Independents are generally the most informed voters we have. The only reason I keep the "R" is to vote in the primaries here in Florida. After this election, the "R" is gone. I am a moderate conservative, meaning that if I'm on the fence on an issue, I'll lean conservative and fall off to the right (usually smacking my head on a liberal rock) . There are some issues where I'll go middle-of-the-road, but not when it comes to fiscal responsibility, unions, entitlement programs, or religion. In all of these and many other issues, I am firmly conservative. Unfortunately, with the political climate since 2000 or so, there is no middle ground. Both parties, democrats far more then republicans, have an all or nothing, if you're not with us you're against us mentality.
And I also have liberal, uninformed, close-minded friends, but I've taken on the responsibility of educating them. And surprisingly, I've actually had some success on occasion!

if the media does run with that story line it will have the opposite effect of what they want. A majority of Americans do not watch Fox news but if the story goes out to non-Fox viewers that Fox reports that obama is a muslim then even more Americans will believe that he is. And when someone who makes references to being a Christian also states that his personal belief is that there are "many paths" to God, equating world religions with Christianity and disagreeing with Jesus on the matter, Obama's words do matter.
It is not possible to invest one's faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and in the next breath say that any other belief system is every bit as legitimate. As it has been so succinctly put, either Jesus is Lord of all or He's not Lord at all.
Because Obama's words matter, they reveal him to be a non-Christian--someone who uses Christianity as a convenient political prop, to be put back into storage after use until the next political occasion.

Daikon raddish is good stuff - as long as it is really, REALLY fresh.
As for pork butt, it's good no matter how you make it.
I oven-roasted a big, fat roaster today with fresh lemon, salt and pepper, and did some killer rice with mushrooms, as well as some sauteed zuchini with onion, garlic and soy sauce.
I'm about to dump the carcass in a huge pot of water with some onions, celery, carrots, garlic and some whole black peppercorns, and let it simmer all night. :-)

Oaxaca is beautiful, as is Monte Albans....here's my Mexico Photo Page from our trip. We spent an afternoon at Monte Albans. (if you search for Monte Albans on my site, you'll see my blog on it). Oaxaca is the capital city of the state by the same name. Eventually, when we get the **** out of Dodge, we'll be going to Oaxaca (the state, not the city)....to Puerto Escondido. A good friend of ours lives in Oaxaca. They are known for textiles, artwork, chocolate, cuisine (including crickets!), black mole, and tequila.
