Bill Maher Gives $1 Million to Obama Super PAC
Vulgarian comedian Bill Maher Thursday gave $1 million to Priorities USA Action, the Super PAC supporting the reelection of Barack Obama.
His PR company True Public Relations sent out the following announcement Thursday evening (video also follows):
Maher Puts His Money Where His Mouth Is with One Million Dollars
Comedian Bill Maher announced tonight that he will donate one million dollars to President Obama’s re-election campaign. At the end of his groundbreaking comedy special, “CrazyStupidPolitics: Live from Silicon Valley,” which streamed live on Yahoo!, Bill brought out a check, making a personal donation of one million dollars to Obama’s Super PAC, Priorities USA Action. His explained that having a country governed by Barack Obama rather than any of the Republican candidates is “worth a million dollars” and that in his own financial interests, “this is the wisest investment I think I could make.” He also encouraged other wealthy liberals to do the same and give until it hurts.
Bear in mind that this occurred a few hours after Maher joked about Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney paying a bum for gay sex.
Makes you wonder if like many media outlets, HBO has a clause in its contracts preventing employees from contributing to campaigns this way.

That is something interesting that I've found with the outrage over Citizens United. A majority of the media does free campaigning for Democrats and the Republicans are criticized when they make the attempt to get any messaging through. Between the unions and leftist media, the decision provides some small measure of balance for the time being.
It's disconcerting how much Obama has to his advantage in this election. He has a media willing to lie and misrepresent everything in his favour. He has the stimulus money sent out to his constituencies and unions. He'll have voter fraud. On top of all that, he'll be getting massive money from corporate donors attempting to buy exemptions. With the republican nominees shooting themselves and each other in the foot, Obama would have to really mess up to lose this. Either that or the general population actually realizing what's happening would lead to Obama losing. For some reason, I just don't have much hope of making this guy a one-termer right now, though time may tell differently.

That being said there are better uses for this money such as medical research, support a child in a poverty area, support operations for children with a cleft lip.

Boll Maher didn't donate 1 million dollars to Obama's PAC. The people who voluntarily subscribe to HBO and pay for it every month donated that money and Maher was simply the bundler of it.
None of Hollywood's elite kook left, or the anti-American Marxist CEOs for the matter, would have this money to give if Americans, especially conservative Americans, were more careful where they spent their money concerned about where it ultimately ends up.
If you pay for HBO, use Comcast or TimeWarner as your cable provider, insure your car with Progressive, own an IPhone/Apple or Sony products, buy NBA or NFL merchandise etc you support Obama's PAC as well.
