Maher Turns on Occupiers, Denounces Them as D-bags That Should ‘Get a Job’
The Occupy movement lost one of its most ardent supporters in the media Friday night.
On HBO's Real Time, host Bill Maher surprisingly said of the protesters, "As I watch them on the news now I find myself almost agreeing with Newt Gingrich. Like, you know what - get a job...Now it's just a bunch of [d-bags] who think throwing a chair through the Starbucks window is going to bring on the revolution" (video follows with transcript and commentary, vulgarity warning):
BILL MAHER: Let me ask you about another occupation, because this is - and you would be good on this too, panel -, the occupation, the Occupy Wall Street, because similar to Afghanistan, when you occupy anything for too long people do get pissed off. And as I watch them on the news now I find myself almost agreeing with Newt Gingrich. Like, you know what - get a job. Only because, you know, the people who originally started, I think they went home and now it's just these anarchist stragglers. And this is the problem when you, you know, when your movement involves sleeping over in the park. You wind up attracting the people who were sleeping over in the park anyway.

MAHER: And I think that's where we are now with the Occupy movement. They did a great job bringing the issue of income and equality to the fore, but now it's just a bunch of douchebags who think throwing a chair through the Starbucks window is going to bring on the revolution.
Truly surprising, especially coming less than two months after Time magazine gushed and fawned over the Occupy movement as it named "The Protester" its Person of the Year.
Makes you wonder if that magazine will come around, and when the rest of the liberal media will recognize that this movement is not what they hoped for.

...is correct twice a day. Maher is just verbalizing what most Americans have thought for some time, and it may be a CYA moment as Obama's (and the leftist's) day of reckoning draws near. I dropped HBO a long time ago because of this clown, but I may sign back up come November just to see his head explode election night. Come to think of it, I probably won't: it would be too hard to keep up with all the exploding heads (Maddow, Shultz, et al) as their world ends.

What you see here is the Liberal propensity to use people for political gain and then cast them aside with unbridled scorn and derision when they no longer suit the larger liberal picture. They haul some unfortunate out in front of a camera and get them to tell their tale of woe, usually aimed at highlighting the necessity for their liberal agenda or to attack a political opponent, only to toss them aside like two bit whores when they have outlived their usefulness.
Can anyone remember what became of Nicky Diaz Santillan? In fact can anyone really remember her at all? She was the former maid of one Meg Whitman, trotted out to smear her former employer.
Perhaps a more recent case involving another of Gloria Allred's clients one Sharon Bialek. The Liberal Media successfully used this women to derail the Presidential aspirations of Herman Cain, and did so based soley on unsubstantiated accusations, yet when the womens history of tax evasion and bankruptcy along with certain 'inconvenient' facts such as a dismal employment history, one source claiming 'Most of her jobs ended in termination. It’s always the employer’s fault, not hers', the MSM found that she coud no longer be put forth as a credible "accuser" so they did what liberals do when they no longer serve a purpose, they for all intents and purposes, cut her loose.
This is just established liberal Bill Maher's way of letting the Occutards know that they have outlived their usefulness and that its time for them to get the hell out of Dodge as they continue to embarrass the liberal establishment with their actions.

Similarities:
1) both groups are human beings
2) these people get together in a public venue or in the streets
3) the participants carry placards
That is where the similarites end.
A) The Tea Parties that I attended people smiled and were friendly.
B) They were respectful of private property.
C) Tea Party folks dressed like normal people.
D) They cleaned up the place and left it cleaner than when they arrived.
E) The Tea Placards professed free markets and less government and lower taxes.
F) The Tea Party supports free market capitalism.
OWS supports and associate with:
a) The OWS placards had different philosophical points of view to Tea Party placards. OW Streeters support socialism.
